Sarge 3,462 #6 Posted December 23, 2017 Only one way to fix it - get her involved a lot more . We probably need a separate support group for the spouses , just don't put it on the same site or we'll get caught more often...lol . Sarge 6
Horse Newbie 6,874 #7 Posted December 23, 2017 (edited) You know how they say if you go to the hospital you'll get sick...well I've been hanging around the "horse"pital and I think I am coming down with something that from what I hear there is no cure. 953 nut 51,769 #8 Posted December 23, 2017 I don't agree with the notion that a cure is needed or even desirable! The only cure I can think of is permanent. 10
ACman 7,510 #9 Posted December 23, 2017 ..... NNOOOOPE !!! Like walking in to your doctors feeling great and he sends your right to critical care. How did Eddie Murphy put it “ it’s like herpes you carry it around for life like old luggage “ . Once you buy a Horse and find it’s over , done , finished , no turning back , terminal . Karl really should put a warning label on the top of the page. Sorry Eric you might as well order one these from @Vinylguy and join the rest of us ! 4 2
ztnoo 2,298 #10 Posted December 23, 2017 Nothing short of death by natural.........or unnatural causes. 9 minutes ago, Sarge said: We probably need a separate support group for the spouses Yeah........the site name could be: Wheel Horse Fanatics Enablers They would have to show documented proof of being a legal souse or common law significant other to be certified for membership.

wallfish 15,935 #12 Posted December 23, 2017 2 hours ago, ebinmaine said: Is there a cure?? Yes, tell her you just need to buy one more. If that doesn't work, perhaps another will definitely do it. Do that a few times and if that doesn't work, tell her the cure must be in the attachments and proceed with buying those. Once you get that far and have an attachment for every tractor, report back and show us all your cool stuff! 3 3
elcamino/wheelhorse 9,060 #13 Posted December 23, 2017 @ebinmaine There is no cure . Possible ways to reduce comments or "the stare" from She Who Must be Obeyed 1. Magic shed like AMC Rules 2. Large storage shed with dark corners 3.Large Tarp to cover recent purchases. 4. Store in friends shed or garage. 5. Purchase one for your honey and include set of tools . Give to her on a special occasion. Then Run for the hills. 2
Sparky-(Admin) 19,570 #14 Posted December 23, 2017 No known cure! Every time I thin the “herd” I find another one I just gotta have. My max at one time was about 15 machines. One year I decided to reduce my collection to 4....got down to 6 and could never get below that 🤔.
c-series don 7,843 #15 Posted December 23, 2017 Well if there is a cure I don't want it! Like most of us here it really is an addiction we happen to love. Once you get a tractor for each attachment then you will need to search for signage and memorabilia. At least that's what happens to some people 😳😜

Aldon 4,826 #17 Posted December 23, 2017 I really like @wallfish ‘s prescription. i will say that a life changing event like professional job relocation can put the disease into remission. But if your pretty certain your your situation is stable, why fight it....just follow Wallfish’s plan:-) 7
JPWH 5,308 #18 Posted December 23, 2017 (edited) If there is a cure I don't want any part of it. I have a plan and am working the plan. All I have to do is keep reminding her about the 8 grandkids. And work on @wallfish plan for attachments for each one. Every grandchild needs a set of attachments. lol Edited December 26, 2017 by JPWH 6
rjg854 10,747 #19 Posted December 24, 2017 We could be doing worst things than buying more 's. My little lady is a keeper because she actually helps feed my addiction. Life is grand 8
