My original intention was to use it as a lawn tractor. However, once I realized what I had, I couldn't in good conscience just use it like an ordinary mower. It has the 10 HP Kohler K241S cast-iron engine, 8-speed manual transmission, and rear-discharge mower deck. It starts, runs, and drives great. Based on the engine spec and serial number, I believe it to be a 1985 model. The tractor ID tag is still present, but the model and serial numbers have faded away. I put a new set of rear tires on it, and the previous owner sprayed black paint on some rust spots, which are visible in the pictures. Other than that, I haven't done anything to restore, repaint, or modify it. Overall, it appears to be a largely original Wheel Horse with good sheet metal, original decals, and a good seat. It has the normal wear, paint loss, and surface rust you'd expect from a tractor of this age. I'm really just looking to find it a good home with someone who appreciates these machines. Lift cable has nylon worn through on one side (they tend to do that). One rear jackshaft bushing has couple ears broke off, and jackshaft e-clips are lost (edit: found those). Belt is original. Pick up in my back yard near Elida, Ohio. Bring help to load, or ramps or something. I think it may be worth $100. - or - Would consider trade for a used car or truck hood that I can use for a sled to drag firewood and equipment around on, something kinda rounded without points or ridges to catch.
