1971 Charger 12 model 1-0400 - Uses breakerless magneto ignition
The 1971 tractor model number ID plates were stamped with a 6th digit. Subtract 5 from that 6th digit to get the model year. 6-5=1=1971. You will see 6, 7, 8 and 9 on the attachment ID plates also representing 1971, 1972, 1973 and 1974.
