Wheel Horse 3D

Finalized lightsaber designs for Kenobi and Princess Leia"s lightsabers. Designed so a small LED flashlight fits in the base and is activated/dractivated by pushing down on the telescoping blade.

Gt14 dash...After several attempts to get the higher temp final layer to be as smooth and crisp as I like, I ended up going in and adjusting the graphic sizes a little...currently have that test running!

While one machine has been running constant iterations on the dash the other machines have been working on all kinds of stuff!

On the dashes...Still working on getting the higher temp plastics to come out as perfect as the other.

I apologize for it taking so long, just so many variables. If there were only 4 variables with 4 possible settings that would be 16x16x16x16 or 65,536 possible variations. I'm dealing with way more variables and way more possible settings. Alternatively I'm debating removing the little tick mark's altogether and increasing text sizes even further , but I'd rather not.

A table top by 4 E's custom resin and woodworking (can be found on the booky face) incorporated a large 11.75" 3d printed Wild/ Classic logo! Beautiful stuff!

Ok all, I'm still alive after the local festival season, have opened a small display downtown and am working on growing the business!

Last night we may have had a discovery on those settings I've been chasing. It appears my part cooling fan was running at the minimum set temperature rather than the max when set to always be cooling! So the next day or so I'll be running another test to see if that solves our stringing and gives us better detail with the higher temp materials.

:confusion-confused:            Did you ever find a substitute plastic that worked for the GT-14 plates without shrinking?

I noticed that somebody is looking for throttle and choke 'T' handles for his Horse on another thread here recently.

Seems like that might be a good subject for somebody with a 3d printer.

I found the material, but was having issues with a clean finish and text details. Now with that latest setting discovery I HOPE that will cure those issues!

Faux tombstone weights!!!

@JPWH was kind enough to hunt down the CORRECT dimensions from here on the forum! Now properly scaled to size and will finally be printed in red,l by default or whatever color you like! Also attached pic of this version beside the original attempt we had at the Big Show.

@Wheel Horse 3D is there a way to   Close the back so it can be filled with mortar or steel shot and used as an actual weight?

This comes in 2 halves. Just epoxy together!

Perhaps I should offer two versions..lightweight density and full density for actually filling with weight.

I'd say maybe  $5.00 more for the extra filament

I've been having problems with GT-14 gas tanks. Would it be possible to make a plastic gas tank that could be joined together like that? I could send you a severely cracked tank for measurements. Most of us have been using rubber grommets with metal spouts for the fuel line. I would probably take several myself :handgestures-thumbupright:

@cafooseLet's see some pics and measurements on those first so I can get a rough idea. Size may be an issue!

I’m building a lowered 300 series wheelhorse. So far it’s a combination of 3 scrap tractors.
the frame, trans and tins are from a GT2500 anniversary special given to me by a neighbor with a trashed Briggs. The Kohler M12 is from a junkyard 312 that was roached. The parts tractor I’m using for the build was another older 312. I’ve got the k301 in the garage. The trans was toast. Both axles wallowed out keyways and 1 axle actually broken.
Anyway! I needed a project and a toy to putt around the neighborhood. I couldn’t find any other posts on how to do the whole thing. I’m trying to keep it cheap using stuff I have on hand and looking as “stock but cooler” as possible. So here we go.
I’ll update this as I go along.
