Don with the help of @WHX24 I figured out where the mag kill wire comes out of the engine. It is on the rt side next to the throttle linkage. I should have known this as my 210-H had the same set up. I connected a wire to it and if I ground it it kills the engine. I still think the key switch is either bad or the wrong one as the engine will now shut off in the run position. D_Mac 8,233 #1787 Posted March 21, 2020 I thought the switch was bad but I am no electrician. The plug grounder worked for what I used it for. I am glad you are fixing it up right though.
