Ahh!, McMaster..... they're a bit pricy but.... wow, they have got ---- bout everything, and of the hundreds of items I've ordered over the years from everyplace, they are the FASTEST, often one day. Then there is the service, which as you found, is great. All in all, goes a long way to make up for the difference of cost.

Ok I’ll bite and see if I get cow pies…

What kind of candy is cow tails?  Is it a Northern thing?

I and nice snap ring pliers. There should be some in there that will help pull balance grenade gears.

The ones I got were caramel with a white cream filling. They are quite 792167665_Screenshot2022-01-05at02-31-09CowTalesCandy.png.81d2922e38363e199532cb7d56004a06.pnggood.

I needed 10 belts the same size and in a hurry for a couple of Air Handlers right before Thanksgiving a couple of years ago. Plus the school wanted 2 spare sets. I'm thinking, where am I going to find 20 3VX560 belts ? I didn't want Grainger's Dayton crap. So I call McMaster. They have Gates belts. Yup we got 38 of those you'll have them tomorrow. They have their own UPS terminal right there. Well next day no belts. :( I called McMaster. They said the belts left but UPS pulled all of their trucks off the road due to weather. :(

@Gregor  like the old style , fixed tip , plyers , just much stronger , less failures. another thing no  one mentions is a penetrating oil soak in the RING GROVE ,  if you are trying to remove a spring ring with out lubricant , you just made it much harder , don't ask me how I know this , pete

Good question @oliver2-44-- and I guess it must be a 'northern' thing - I've never seen them over here in La either :eusa-think: Course I could ask one of my - many - great and grand kids!

Seems like there's a thing about animal waste going on here!

Now that we've gotten @Gregor's Snap Ring topic totally off topic, I can't wait until @ebinmaine weights in with some Maine products, maybe something with Bear ______ in the name.

Then again we've got Beaver Nuggets in Texas, so who am I to talk about animal waste.

You sure can't say we don't learn new things on RedSquare!

Cow Tales are made by Goetze Candy in Baltimore. A little history on the long running family business.

One of my wife's favorite candies are Goetze's Caramel Creams. A road trip is not complete without a stash of them in the glove box.
