Man i think that would have to be at least a 4 part deal with the printers I have. Biggest dimension I have is about 11.75

If you think it's doable and it will work I'd say go for it :banana-wrench:

Is there any dimension under 12"?

If that's the case, I could make stackable rings. If not it will have to be quartered at least.

As long as it holds gas and doesn't leak anything you can do will be good. @19richie66 is getting dimensions.Maybe that would help?

Have been thinking on the next printer to purchase. Whether to upgrade size, or to go with another speedy Bambu.

Might have to think more in size ! Lol

If they were fabricating them they'd have everything I'd need to model with!

Just finished up this project! Pretty proud of it. 4tpi well pipe to 8tpi well pipe adapters. Original on the left, draft center, and final done in a higher temp chemical resistant filament at full density. Thread design worked out well with a couple drafts to get the female sizing just right.

I've never messed with a well.

What's the purpose of you building those as compared to buying them?

Not available?

Pricey?

You felt like it?

I asked Grey if he could 3D me some specialty pipe adapter parts. They are not available off the shelf.

He took on the challenge with doing the threaded parts and knocked them out very quickly. Impressive and done at a fair price.

Slammed with tombstone orders! Each heavy duty set takes over 48 hours to print and 2 full spools of filament. Had to order in more red!

Each half will be 4 DAYS of printing and 1.5 spools of filament! Gonna have to find some inexpensive filament to keep cost down.

On the GT14 gas tank are you printing them with the original bottom outlet nipple, or are you putting a heavy boss at the bottom for a rubber gas bushing ?

If ya look closely, there's an outlet right hand bottom. I was figuring ya could tap and insert a brass fitting, perhaps a 90 degree 3/8 or 1/4 NPT hose barb?

The tanks will still have some DIY to do.

Epoxy and seal the 2 halves together, maybe do a coat of gas tank sealer, and add your outlet fitting.

Next to do is design the cap and be sure to incorporate the vent hole.

@Wheel Horse 3D If these tanks work out,  the tanks for the WH Suburbans and RJ’s should be next on your list.  Used ones are selling for over $100 on Evil Bay and are usually so rusty you have to seal them. The Suburban and RJ tank are the same size and shape, but inlet and outlet are in slightly different locations. Also they are a lot smaller,   I’ll try to find some pictures.

I’m building a lowered 300 series wheelhorse. So far it’s a combination of 3 scrap tractors.
the frame, trans and tins are from a GT2500 anniversary special given to me by a neighbor with a trashed Briggs. The Kohler M12 is from a junkyard 312 that was roached. The parts tractor I’m using for the build was another older 312. I’ve got the k301 in the garage. The trans was toast. Both axles wallowed out keyways and 1 axle actually broken.
Anyway! I needed a project and a toy to putt around the neighborhood. I couldn’t find any other posts on how to do the whole thing. I’m trying to keep it cheap using stuff I have on hand and looking as “stock but cooler” as possible. So here we go.
I’ll update this as I go along.
