Also been working on the Decepticon Mack ornament for a client. Not sure if theyll go for it or not, but on a Silverado gonna try magnets as the front lip comes so far down. Just a prototype for now.

Think we finally have the settings lined out!

Final will have the raised text and borders printed in white filament(no paint). Next is to do a full size test in one color then after that implement the dual layer colors.

Once we have a good dash, we'll move on to the console plate.

A BIG thank you to @buckrancher for the patience and resolve to be the guinea pig on this one! Has taken quite some time to get to this point with a lot of other projects eating up my time.20211207_074754.jpg.10de60ba9d5146c74d0c8192d938f3bc.jpg20211207_074739.jpg.cd9afb1a446539663e0df203a73b0f56.jpg

Bed change on the ol trusty ender3! A little warm up, some parachute thread to get under the edges and saw my way through the adhesive, and a little follow up with a THIN THIN putty knife. New bed has NO adhesive and easy on/off just like the one on MAX.

I was so upset after the last PA show that I attended. I had a very cool steering cap made by Glen Petit, and it disappeared the day I was leaving. I have no idea how it came off but it did. Glen's work was also excellent!

I'm so glad we have someone helping to customize our tractors like this again!

Lots of stuff!

Tractors. Sure. Excellent Hood ornaments. Lots of other stuff.

And there's also miniature tools and a fuel Island like on a Hess truck diorama we're building.

The gargoyles that I had done for Trina.

The Colossus hood ornament that she had done for me.

I’m building a lowered 300 series wheelhorse. So far it’s a combination of 3 scrap tractors.
the frame, trans and tins are from a GT2500 anniversary special given to me by a neighbor with a trashed Briggs. The Kohler M12 is from a junkyard 312 that was roached. The parts tractor I’m using for the build was another older 312. I’ve got the k301 in the garage. The trans was toast. Both axles wallowed out keyways and 1 axle actually broken.
Anyway! I needed a project and a toy to putt around the neighborhood. I couldn’t find any other posts on how to do the whole thing. I’m trying to keep it cheap using stuff I have on hand and looking as “stock but cooler” as possible. So here we go.
I’ll update this as I go along.
