Selling cab as is and photo'd. Don't know how much of the frame work is original. Panels are used and torn in some places. Windows are fairly clear and solid. Paperwork is pretty shot but included. States fits C series tractors. Haven't tried the zippers or snaps. Fab work done by previous owner. PM any questions. 150.00 cash SOLD
Tried the zippers today 2-6-23 and they are working, little WD40 works wonders. SOLD

10HP with 42” blade, C-85 w/cab & 42” Snow Blower, 315-8 w/Ark Loader. Ready for some snow ❄️. Last year had up to 14” in Ohio.
Snow cab windows were fogged up bad and I used MeGuires PlastX, this stuff was easy, apply like wax, rubbing it in and wipe off, amazing how it cleared that plastic window up.

I bought an old Original snow cab off Craigslist this Sunday. It's not the Wheel Horse version though. I got it cheap enough to take a chance of fitting it up. The seller said it was a Universal cab previously fitted to a Ford 100LGT. The brackets and frame come close to fitting but I an going to have to do some fabrication. It came with no instructions and so far I have had no luck finding instructions for such an old cab.
It's made from pretty heavy canvas, not vinyl, and in really good condition for the apparent age. it also doesn't have a hard top, it has a canvas top made from the same material as the rest of it. I mocked it up and tried to figure out where the frame pieces that I have fit. I did find an instruction sheet on the Original Cab website. Cab Kit No. 4058 to fit the GT-14 has frame parts that look real close to what I have. I think I can fabricate what I need from the pictures.
Here is a few pictures of what I have so far.

Snowing/Blizzard like in MA today as most of the east coast. With the forecast calling for snow the remainder of the day into night with temps taking a deep dive south afterward with temps in the sub-teens and single digits overnight for the next week. So will need to complete snow removal duties as soon as it stops. Conditions are pretty nasty compounded by having had recent elbow surgery. Left arm is in a full cast without a winter coat in my snow removal gear arsenal large enough to cover it. On the bright side it's the left elbow so using the PTO and Motion Ctrl levers will not be a problem.
Anyway, purchased a new cab a couple of years ago, procrastinated.... and never installed it. Just manned-up if conditions got to the point where the 310 couldn't push the snow. But think the current situation behooves me to install it. Am interested to get an idea of time required to perform the initial cab install. The tractor is a 1993 520H.
I do have a helper (non-mechanically inclined wife) to assist. Think I read a post in the past it takes anywhere from 4-8 hours without running into the inevitable issues typical with install projects. Is this time frame correct?
Thank you!
