Hello Red Square Community!
My father recently rebuilt a 1990 520-H he found at a junk yard and surprised me with it as a birthday present. I've done a lot of searching for guidance on implements/attachments that will fit this particular model but am coming up short. I would love to get a rototiller, snow thrower, and a blade but I have no idea what will work. My model number is 41-20OE01. Will any wheel horse attachment prior to 1990 work with this tractor? I'm new to this so any help would be much appreciated. Thank you for your time!

Most of the 300/400/500 and C series attachments will work with the 520-H.

The tricky part is that in order for attachments that came from the C, 300/400 tractors often require an extra adapter, extension, or unique lever to allow them to fit the 520-H--even though they are identical in all other aspects. It's because the frame of the 500 series is longer than the others. A prime example is the snow blade: The C, 300/400/500 blades are all basically the same... the 520-H requires a frame extension to allow it to attach at the back Attach-a-Matic hitch--AND it has a different angle adjustment lever that has a "zig-zag" bend in it instead of being just straight.

Is the frame actually longer or is it because of the swept forward axle? Just curious.

I believe it's because of the forward swept axel add a few inches to accommodate the 60" deck.

I used a 48" blade on a 520 for two years without the extension bracket.
The back of the blade rubbed the front of the right tire when the blade was angled.
Not bad, but annoying, and it wore the paint off the blade.
The extension gives about 4" extra clearance needed for the forward swept front axle.
Problem is, they are hard to find, and go for about $150 with the extension bracket, lift point brace and offset lever arm.

The time has come for me to part with my trusty Wheel Horse and find it a new home. I am the second owner (since 2003) and it has always been stored in a garage.
I am located about 20 minutes south of Rt 80 or 15 minutes north of Rt 78 near Rt 33 for those who are attending the Big Show.

Good used replacement tank, original tank is included in the sale.  Brand-new battery, fuel filter, and shutoff valve installed 5/26. The local place I’ve bought parts from for years has changed owners, now they can’t even spell Wheel Horse let alone be if any help.
Doing my spring tune up I noticed my drive belt is getting pretty ratty. Due to all I’ve read thought I’d ask for some advise on getting it right the first time on a new belt.
Is there still dealers on this site selling OME stuff ? I know there are tons of aftermarket crap but not looking for that.
      Thank in advance.

Excellent condition Wheel Horse OEM blower and bagger system removed off my 520H because I don't mow my yard any longer. Includes all mounting brackets for bags and blower, along with double pulley and belt for deck. Bags are good and intact and show some fraying along top frame edge. No cracks in the bagger hood or deck to bag chute. Blower blades are straight, balanced and complete. Best to text or email me

I bought a 5xi package yesterday including some attachments I'm not going to need:
4' plow, model # 79355 - in great condition, very minor surface rust on crossmember and back side of blade. $250 48" mower deck with blower and bagger - in good condition, working when removed from tractor yesterday. Previous owner said it never clogged on him. Some surface rust on deck and one 2" hole near the center. $300.
I'm open to offers and interested in trades! I'm looking for a 2-stage snow thrower, p/n 79366. Maybe tools, etc.

Available for pickup--let me know if you have any questions. Thanks!

Here's a photo of the deck that's included. It's got some rust holes, but functions perfectly. Most of the price here is wrapped up in the blower & bagger:
