Was 14 this morning. Ground is finally frozen hard enough to do some work. L107 hauling away the third trailer load of Ash tree. The little guy is a hard worke rand starts better in the ecol than anything else I have. This 14 inch is the first of a whole bunch of tees that have to come down...Emerald Ash Borer. Some are bigger and lean in bad ways. Will have to get the M-37 and her 4000 lbs winch to make sure the go the right way.

Does anybody else have a beaver! The garden tractor that is! I have 3 of them. They were my late dads! They are the most unique tractors. My late dads family had them when he was a kid! the last 2 photos are my grandpa henry bottjer pulling my dad around when he was a kid, then my great grandpa pulling him around. I have a rope start, electric start, and one with a hood and steering wheel! The tractors i have are from the 50's and early 60's if i remember correctly. My late adopted dad was born in 1962.

So @Achto turns me on to this CL listing of a nice little harem of K91's. Too good of a deal to pass on even tho almost 4 hr round trip. I have no idea what to do with them but parts is parts I guess. Might be to get one and possibly two working engines out of the mess. Here where it gets weird tho. Lost a (conventional) headlight on my GT 1600 so I figured why not do an LED upgrade. I swapped both lights but in the pics your looking at one LED and one conventional bulb.

As scary as it has been, the one thing that makes me feel better is knowing that the medicine is doing it’s job. I would love for him not to have to take the medicine, but I’m glad that there is a small chance of it happening again as long he stays on the medicine. Thanks @WHX21! I’ve done my best to keep him from the seedy side of this wheel horse game, but you never know what he might pick up from hanging around with crime bosses such as yourself😉. Shoot, we saw first hand what you boys can do to a poor unattended wheel horse😂🤣😂.

Update on Scottie... It has been a while since I last updated you and a lot has happened. After our little trip to St. Mary's emergency room on the 6th of January, we found out that he had a blocked suprapubic catheter and the urology medical team wanted to see Scottie on Tuesday (01/08) as an outpatient to change his catheters. I was a little skeptical as what the medical team was planning on doing on Tuesday, was Scottie going to tolerate this procedure without being put under, or was he going to require surgery? We arrived to his appointment on Tuesday, Scottie was in severe pain from just traveling over to Rochester, that any other movement or transfers was going to send him over the top for his pain. Please keep in mind that he was very medicated before we left home. Once we got into the room, Scottie had to be transferred onto a table in which made him cry out in pain, and he needed to have his bladder full of normal saline in order for the two urologists to change out both of his catheters. Well, the nurse started to put in the normal saline solution to fill his bladder, and he only put in 30 cc out of 150cc and Scottie was screaming so badly that I told the nurse to stop and to go and get the doctors and let them see Scottie like this. The doctors came in and stop the procedure and scheduled him for surgery instead, because they did not want Scottie to be in so much pain. We were sent home with a surgery date of Thursday (01/10). Lowell, and I got Scottie all ready to go and into the truck and off to St. Mary's for his catheter change. The urologist was uncertain if we could replace the suprapubic catheter and be able to drain it like before since he was unsure of the placement of his bladder. We were told that if he was unsuccessful with the suprapubic catheter placement that our other option was to drain the bladder from his penial stent. Not the option that Scottie wanted nor did Lowell or I want. The surgery was to last for about 30-45 minutes once Scottie was put under, much too Lowell and my surprise 30 minutes later Scottie was out of surgery. The urologist came out and talked to us about the procedure and told us that he was able to replace the suprapubic catheter and the urethral stent without any complications. He was also successful with allowing the suprapubic catheter to drain his bladder. We also were told that Scottie's bladder was high in his pelvis after the accident on 12/12/2018, but after the scan on Thursday 01/10/2019, he was able to see the bladder returning to the normal location. Since the surgery, Scottie has been in pain from the bladder spasms and from any type of movement. When he has a bowel movement, it causes pressure and he strains (not intentionally) and it triggers a bladder spasm. We were told this week that we are looking at two more surgeries from the urology stand point. One for another catheter change which will be two months out and the second surgery will be for the bladder and urethra reconstruction which will be three months out. Providing that we don't have any other complications that arise between now and then. We go in on Friday for his orthopedic appointment to check on his pelvis and his other fractures. We will find out if his hardware needs to be in permanently or if he will need it taken out. Will he be there for the Big Show in June? I truly can not say for sure as of yet. All I can tell you is that Lowell and I are planning on him attending but we will have to see how Scottie is doing then. Scottie is one spoiled little boy by the Wheel Horse guys in Wisconsin. Thanks to WHX21 and others, they made Scottie's day!!! I love to see him smile!!!!

Just got out of the hospital. Overall Emory’s EEG didn’t show anything unusual, but enough activity was there to show that he had a seizure and the possibility of a future seizure. They are keeping him on his medicine for the near future. Weaning him off or stopping the medicine will be a discussion later on down the road as he grows. Thanks for all of your support and prayers. This is what I did to balance out a two stage blower on my 520H. It has worked well. It has 125lbs. of barbell weights and about 30 lbs of hitch weight.

That’s what I want to build when I get moved.

So sorry to hear about your pain and suffering Scottie. I’m in Kiev, Ukraine on a missions trip right now and I’ve been praying for you... May God give you the strength to get through this most difficult patch and to a tomorrow filled with much less pain. Glad you got the care package from the Local Circle in cheddar country!

We love those lawn rangers. Everyone in my family just giggles when they drive ours. Both my boys are about 6’5” and well over 200 pounds and they say they feel very comfortable on that little machine. That’s a great picture.

It's odd that that when you asked us to make him smile that Cindy and I were mere blocks away from the Packer pro shop at Lambeau that day on other business and we could swing in and pick him something up. I personally am taking that as God's will in looking over us. Sides nice to know there are Packer fans out there other than the @squonk. We hope he enjoys our meager trinkets. It is truly sad that a man of his age should have to go through such things as this and we will continue to pray. BTW to heck with the BS I hear tell you guys might be attending a show here in WI in July?? Might be a good time to run him up to Title Town for a field tour? My offer to a real game still stands as well ..... We'll see.

My version on 2stage rear ballast...i had actually fabbed that up for the front (last pic) from something my dad had laying around but as you can see I use the hitch rod hole in the trans case loosely following the the rear bagger attachment points (which coincidentally I plan using ,a retired bagger mount, for my next version.

Swear by my LR's. I say one of the best kept secrets from WH. Mine plows snow, hauls, pushes, pulls just fine and doesn't miss a beat. Just add a little weight. I even built a FEL loader that works great. Spread two tons of gravel for my work last summer in the parking lot........no problem and made enough extra $ to buy 5 LR's. Still want a big D though......book ends.

The possibilities are endless. I want to wall off the fronts of the containers 10’ in so I would basically have two 8’x10’ sheds for storage. Then the sides under the roof would both get small garage doors and them would be for tractors and such. Wall on the back would have the wheel horse art on it.👍

I should add a disclaimer here - A Wheel Horse HY pump can not be run off of the flywheel side of the engine. A HY pump is made to rotate counter clock wise and needs to drive off of the PTO side of the engine. The pump on mine is a Century Fox pump made by Hien Werner, the same company that made the HY pump. My pump is designed to run clock wise and needed to be run off of the fly wheel side of the engine.

62 381 that is an early unit, looks like it is in great shape too. I wish I knew who made the steering wheel, yours is in far better condition than most. With the tank and frame stored out the way I had some space on the bench to fill up with parts that need cleaning and painting. A wire brush on a drill came in handy for cleaning off all the years of crud. It leaves a slightly bright but rough finish which should dull down with age. The transfer box. Front end. Rear end complete with mounting brackets A front suspension strut in need of a de-fur and clean up. A fury front hub.. And a cleaned up rear hub More wire brushing and painting.. At least the calipers clean up really well And that folks is about where I'm up to at the mo with this build.. Silly season has left me a bit skint but hopefully I can get some paint next week and start getting this beast of a machine back together

Emory pulled a push mower out of the weeds at my MIL’s house. We know it hasn’t run in at least 40 years. He wants to get it going for a 4H project. Here’s a shot of him working this morning. Good way to keep him up😃.

I made a form from a couple of 2 x 4 's of the front corner of the hood put a plastic bag over it laid up two layers of 6 oz fiberglass cloth then married it into the hood on the broken corner then added two layers of fiberglass mat to build the thickness up Brian
