Just message a guy on CL about his two wagons for $200 (he said he paid $250) and he knew they were worth more . It was only up for 9mins when I responded and told him of my situation (physically & financially) and these were on my bucket list for my collection . I told him I wouldn't be able to get them until next weekend and would give him $250 if he'd work with me . I asked him if he had heard of RS and that I was ACman on the forum . He responded right back and told me he'd hold them for me and yes his username is @gkendall99 so that might have something to do with it . The four wheel wagon looks like it needs new rims and tires but for the price for the two I'm not complaining I'm dancing in my chair ! Now I just have to sneak them past the wife ... We'll see if he keeps his word , but I got a good feeling about this one .

Well as of yesterday the eye was tracking 50-60 miles to my east. Now it has shifted and is showing it about 30 miles to my west. Either way its gonna be rough. I have most everything picked up but with everyone coming from south Florida evacuating, gas and store shelves are empty. Still some but you have to find it. Im stocked. Just gotta get the horses and other loose things secure in the backyard. if I disappear off radar for a while, just say a little prayer. Hope to slide out ok on the other side. May God bless everyone affected by this storm in some way. Later fellas

Well, I think I found the reason this horse was parked many years back. This is the ignition wire from the switch to the coil. rubbed bare where it went thru the hood stand hole behind the fuel tank. I replaced the bad wiring and cleaned all the terminal connections. Put on a new plug, and cranked it over..... no fire. Installed a new condenser and the plug lit up. Hung a gravity fuel tank, primed her with starting fluid, hit the start switch and she couldn't wait to run. No smoke and no unusual noises. She's alive.

Super buy! Being a member here has it's benefits, kind of lets him know you aren't a scammer.

You guys humble me...Thank You for all the Birthday Wishes and Smiles. Went to El Molina's last night. They had a 3 burrito combo with refried beans and rice on the side that caught my eye. It was fantastic. You could mix and match the burritos...I had 1st. steak...2nd shredded pork...3rd chiriso (sp). Incredible with 1/2 pitcher of Margaritas. I think I am going to have another Birthday next week. And then we went for ice cream....some young guy came in looked at the line, said something, turned around and left.

Thanks Everyone! And ,Yes sir Bob... I got your number👍. And I want to apologize for not keeping in touch as much as I would like. But as with everyone, we get busy and things happen. But I appreciate all the thoughts and prayers. Gonna be putting the horses to work next week I can see already.

Depending on what you are wanting to do, you just may have to "bite the bullet" and get a real air compressor! My wife bought me a HF blast cabinet a few years ago because she said (we) needed one. I agreed with her and after she bought it and we put it together she asked why I wasn't using it. I explained the small compressor I had wouldn't create enough air volume and I needed a BIGGER compressor. She said, "If I would have known you were going to need a $1000 air compressor, I wouldn't have bought the blast cabinet"! I said, we needed the bigger air compressor any way!

@ACman nice find on the wagon & trailer. I'm sure the seller will work with you on this deal! As others have said, good luck getting them past your wife!

Neat tractor made in Baltimore, MD. It was written up in Lane & Garden Tractor magazine in July 2012. If it was closer to me, I'd go get it. Jim

Thank you, Richard! My cable must be broken; I will have to quick investigation. BTW, here's my last tractor that I restored, but sold.

I found this tractor and couldn't pass it up for $50. She's a bit rough but has a lot of parts that I need. Can someone tell me what year and model it is? The model number is T1267 and the serial number is 379154. It has a k301 s motor on it

Busy week at work and Church. Did finish the dash plate and got the rims painted. These tasks were not necessary at this time but were easy short jobs I could tackle in between life this week.....and rain.

Jeff make sure she is taking a nap before you try to unload them. They are a little too big to hide in your pockets.

1267 was the first of the six speed and had the limited slip differential. It may be cosmetically challenged, but it will be a prized member of your herd with a bit of TLC.

I like the adjustable fuel pressure system. Need more pressure....add another block under the tank. I will be interested in what is under the PTO belt cover box.

Happy Birthday Steve! My first point of contact during my plea for help during the B-80s transmission troubles. Little did I know back then that I had stumbled onto the best forum and group of guys I have ever had the pleasure to meet on the internet. Many more and lots of seat time!

My son and his wife live in the Bahamas and the company he works for evacuated them to North Carolina. Hope they still have a place to live in and all they own is still there. The main thing is they are ok. Everything else can be replaced. Praying for everyone that is in the storms path.

I think the next part I attempted was the dash assembly. Two 3/16" thick alloy panels were cut for the front and rear with a bent up alloy spacer pop riveted on. When first looking at photo's I had thought that both front and rear had an apex on the top surface. It was only after I had build number one well on the way that my man with the camera, tape and notebook, Iain, pointed out my mistake. I made three or four alterations, gradually reducing the front apex and leveling off the rear before it looked about right. These photo's are before any alterations. The outer shell was originally bent so that it finished on the underside and left oversize back and front for trimming later. The first attempt also looked too long when viewed from the side. This photo shows the top rear looking more like it should be. There were a lot of alterations and head scratching before the final result which included brackets bent up to hold front, rear and outer shell together. Also a strong mount for the steering column bush and cross beams for mounting to the upper side panels. Lots of assorted BA nuts and bolts were used which resulted in a very strong assembly. The brackets set at an angle on the front face are for the spring loaded hood locking catches, more of these later. The Steering column bush is a 1/2" socket cap screw drilled 5/16". I drilled two of these, the second for the steering wheel. This will also be described later. .

It appears to me that she will be thrilled when you buy a $500 compressor, as she implied permission for a $1,000.00 unit. That would be my story anyway..... I don't think you will be at all impressed with the performance of 2 pancake compressors in series.

I've been using a Brinly for about 15 years now. Works just the way it did when it was new. No parts have ever needed replacing. Brushes are still in excellent condition. Only downside is the silly rope dump function. I tow this behind a rear discharge deck and it works great.

Just finished fixing a 312 with the same problem. Long story short, solenoid was bad. Checked all connections first to eliminate that as an issue. Bench tested the bad solenoid and it would not give consistent OHM readings when energized. Replaced it and problem solved.

I have the 42" Agri-fab and tow it behind the 42" Rear Discharge which grinds up the leaves and gets a lot more than pulling it without the mower.

If a person were to pick that up they would be the only one at any show who had one! But I'm sure some one would tell them they painted it the wrong color! Looks like if you removed the left rear wheel it could be used for flat belt work, very cool. I think you need that Jeff, better buy it before some one beats you to it.

I bought this 1997 brand new in the crate in 1998. Unfortunately a couple years ago I thought I was getting out of mowing and sold it. Since then I inherited my dad's 161 and have gotten a few more afterwards.

I have one exactly like the first one but it has a different name. Same problem with the rope. OK for grass clippings I have too many leaves and it fills up too fast.

None of the Valspar products are what they used to be since being bought out by Sherwin-Williams . That's what led to the demise of the Restoration series paints , which were excellent for their cost . You'd almost have to call the tech line and ask if it will work on an oil based enamel - good luck getting a straight answer as none of them want the liability now . Oil based enamels to my knowledge are not designed to be used with clear coats - you can polish the stuff after it's hardened to enhance the gloss if you want , just make certain it's fully cured out after a few months . You may know this but the rounded end of the master link retainer must face the direction of chain rotation. Ice has been known to push the retainer off if the split end strikes an object first as it goes around. Garry

Ah, I never get into a sealed room or booth with any fumes, period. I have painted commercially and had to use all hazmat. I do my painting under the sun on calm warm days, no rush. I just finished applying Rustoleom Sunrise Red over the IHR and wet sand 400. I can then apply Rustoleom Clear, or another Red, haven't decided yet? Very compatible paints when dry. "Excellent Results"........

If you don't have a blaster or want to reduce blasting time consider using an etank to remove the rust and pant. Google etank or Electrolis tank and you will find directions. I use a 10 amp DCYC battery charger, a 55 gallon plastic barrel and add swimming pool PH plus to the water to make it more conductive. Cook the rims for about 2 days. Then remove take a firm bristle brush and the paint is gone . Cook for another day or two and you might even get clean enough . To scrub the black residue off and paint

I'll be thinkin of you at 4:30 AM my time as I get up for another fun day. "Lets see here. I had Mexican last night. Do I really want to pull on this handle too hard! "
