20 pointsThe Horse is finally home! Long story. This was my late fathers pride and joy. You see he passed away ten years ago. I wanted to haul her home but my Mom insisted my step Dad would use it ( yes she moved rather fast lol ) turns out he never did and it sat in the garage for five years until he pushed it out under the lean to where it would spend the next five years to rust and go to h$&@. Well he passed and now the Horse is where it belongs. I have fond memories of when I was a kid Dad rebuilt it a painted it up nice n pretty. This was his pride and joy, as he plowed all winter with it among other things. One early spring day it was time to pull the race car out of the snow bank to get ready for summer, as I backed up to it with the truck he said " get out of the way, I'll pull it out with the Wheel Horse," as he sawed back n forth on the hydrostatic shifter not to be proven be proven wrong as I said it couldn't be done he blew the transmission out of it lol. I also remember getting yelled at as a kid for popping wheelies with it. Good times. I really don't need another one but this one is kind of special.

9 pointsWent today found a Rj on Craigslist only 55 miles away. As soon as I seen it I acted. He said he got all kinds of calls after but he was a standup guy and held it for me for a few days. Starts runs purrs like a kitten. It's not perfect not all correct but it's still nice. This one is ready enough for the shows for me right now. some me day I will figure out how to get these pictures right side up

6 pointsNow guys sometimes I have some high level"Government Jobs" to weld on.... The Foreman's pulling tractor. I welded up the exhaust pipes, aluminum gas tank, etc. Please forgive the brand name on the tractor, but it is the right color and has a 25 hp Kohler twin in it.

5 pointsYears back I worked for a company who's owner collected vintage cars. He ordered a "Tar Top Battery" for one of the cars through the company; the day it came into the office a fork lift had a dead battery, we used his precious battery to get the day's production onto a trailer and on the road, he was not at all impressed with our ingenuity. Battery was wrapped with cardboard to be sure we didn't mar it, but still, we had used The Battery!

4 pointsThanks! And yes I am. Glad she likes to be around them. And I do not force her to cuz that would just make her not like them at all!
-
4 pointsThanks a lot! Seems like every time we get a horse out she wants me to take her picture with them lol. Then proceeds to tell me to put it on my wheel horse forum... So that would be the main reason why I have a lot of these pictures on here! Lol. And being a girl that wants anything to do with my tractors I never tell her no!

4 pointsIf the block is un-threadable a good experienced welder should be able to weld in a pipe nipple. Not the best way to do it but better than throwing an otherwise good block away.

4 pointsOne thing I have learned is, all brands have their pros and cons. I can appreciate good engineering and quality nor matter what the color. Green, yellow, red, blue, etc., all have qualities I admired, and all have things I wished were like that other brand.

3 pointsUp date on GT- 14 rebuilt the carb, fixed the lights, put the decals on and the lower bracket for the 3-point, now I have to find the rest of the 3-point stuff, and it runs great. It's not show material, but it's nice. Thanks for all the replys.

3 points!!! Thanks for the idea. Before my accident,I was the one they called on when weren't going right . One guy blew a dime size hole on the line set , right at the valve on the outside unit. It's all about controlling your heat , and knowing when to add the solder . Doing all this while tucked up with you head stuck to the ground . Pinned between the house and AC unit. ( fellow HVAC installers you know what I'm talking about ) . Maybe there is hope for one of my K91's .

3 pointsGuess who cut the grass today? Who, did you say me? On my WheelHorse? You bet I did, OMG how long have I waited for this day. A friend of mine called in today to hopefully give me good news an get old Horse46 running properly. So as you can see all is good in my world right now.

3 pointsNo, 87 goes directly to the power wire of the fuel pump. Actually I goofed somewhat. Connect 87 or 86 to power coming from the key switch and the remaining of those 2 to ground. Connect # 30 directly from the battery with a fuse installed in line. sorry I left that part out. When the key is turned on it will energize the coil which is the little box with the slash through it and the bent contact on #30 will pull in towards the coil and touch 87. That will send power from 87 out to the pump.

3 pointsAny chainsaw artist around your parts . I'm sure you could up with some cool design. you've got quite the herd there .

3 pointsThanks gang! Annual member / guest tournament going on at work so I spent from 5AM to 8PM at the country club / golf course ~ and not in a fun way either! Sure is nice to come home, sit down, and read bunches of happy birthday wishes. I thought everyone forgot about me by now.

3 pointsThat is a sweet tractor. You will love the 3-point. I do miss mine. Like Sqonk I wish that I didn't sell mine too.
-
3 pointsJust the metal pan seat for now, a true rigid but I really like that seat cover on little Bo's hot rod tractor. Something like that would be a perfect fit, wonder if I can get him to trade for it? LoL Thanks Ken, but I still have some of that black you gave me before but no way to sow it up to make a cover. Guess it could be done by hand but doubt I'll have the time. ANYBODY at the show who wants to take it for a ride is more than welcome to do it. All you need to do is ask. The more the merrier because that's what it's built for, pure enjoyment. No need to worry about breaking anything either, I know a guy who can fix it cheap! Plus there will be a whole fairgrounds full of replacement parts.
-
3 pointsNice looking Horse, man I like that seat, where did you find that?
