Wanted to share a pic of Emory and his 61 suburban. We put our tractors in a local parade today with our tractor club. I built the carry all to haul his tractor behind mine. We rode about 12 miles total, so a little too far and too much traffic on the way back for him to ride his . He's the youngest member of our club and had a ball!

I figured this might be a cool thread to put a name with a tractor..... Here are the two that my son and I will be dragging to the big show this year. Still need to figure out one more as we need a "backup". My son tends to be a little hard on his machine. Let's see what you all are bringing! Update- Here is what I believe are the final tractors I plan on bringing.

5-31-1859 Big Ben goes into operation in London The famous tower clock known as Big Ben, located at the top of the 320-foot-high St. Stephen’s Tower, rings out over the Houses of Parliament in Westminster, London, for the first time on this day in 1859. After a fire destroyed much of the Palace of Westminster–the headquarters of the British Parliament–in October 1834, a standout feature of the design for the new palace was a large clock atop a tower. The royal astronomer, Sir George Airy, wanted the clock to have pinpoint accuracy, including twice-a-day checks with the Royal Greenwich Observatory. While many clockmakers dismissed this goal as impossible, Airy counted on the help of Edmund Beckett Denison, a formidable barrister known for his expertise in horology, or the science of measuring time. Denison’s design, built by the company E.J. Dent& Co., was completed in 1854; five years later, St. Stephen’s Tower itself was finished. Weighing in at more than 13 tons, its massive bell was dragged to the tower through the streets of London by a team of 16 horses, to the cheers of onlookers. Once it was installed, Big Ben struck its first chimes on May 31, 1859. Just two months later, however, the heavy striker designed by Denison cracked the bell. Three more years passed before a lighter hammer was added and the clock went into service again. The bell was rotated so that the hammer would strike another surface, but the crack was never repaired. The name “Big Ben” originally just applied to the bell but later came to refer to the clock itself. Two main stories exist about how Big Ben got its name. Many claim it was named after the famously long-winded Sir Benjamin Hall, the London commissioner of works at the time it was built. Another famous story argues that the bell was named for the popular heavyweight boxer Benjamin Caunt, because it was the largest of its kind. Even after an incendiary bomb destroyed the chamber of the House of Commons during the Second World War, St. Stephen’s Tower survived, and Big Ben continued to function. Its famously accurate timekeeping is regulated by a stack of coins placed on the clock’s huge pendulum, ensuring a steady movement of the clock hands at all times. At night, all four of the clock’s faces, each one 23 feet across, are illuminated. A light above Big Ben is also lit to let the public know when Parliament is in session.

Will be bringing my son's suburbans and one of my GT14s. I want to bring the one I've given a facelift, Emory wants to bring the worker. Guess i leave a little more room for the rolling chassis I'm getting from Limited12 and who knows what else might follow me home.

Just saw this on my daily cruise of CL Didn't I read on here, somewhere in the deep dark past, that this was an "option" for 520s??

The cylinder is not removable on the K301 it is part of the block. Some have removed the oil pan, unbolted the rod and pulled the piston out and machined the cylinder then cleaned every thing up and reassembled the engine. This is not the method I prefer, I believe you should only machine a bare block. Even lapping the valves should be done with the block bare to ensure that you can get every thing clean again. If you don't want to pull it apart now try changing your oil to a 50/50 mix of 30wt and Lucas oil treatment. This worked for my K241, it thickens the oil up enough to stop the smoke.

Hi guys, I picked up this D200 in England about a year ago now, it was my first then and i bought it in bits and a poor paint job. Since then I have taken it apart on the weekends and holidays when I am not at school as I am 15. I then have started to paint everything and reassemble which is looking good. However I need some more photos as it was half apart when i got it so not sure of where everything goes. By the way it is a 1974 tractor with rear pto, 3 point linkage and turning disc brakes. Here are some photos of it so far.

Well today was my B- bay and wasn't expecting much. I new my wife was probably going to have some family and friends over to ,eat ,swim ,and let the kids drive some horses and have some fun . So when my cousin told me he was going out to start the 753 I thought nothing of it. While I was eating some cake I seen my son on the 656 drive by. A little while later my cousin wanted to go out in the garage to see what he needed to fix the hood on the RJ58 . We're sitting there talking for 5 , 10 minutes all the while the 656 is running, sitting out in the driveway. That's when I look up and see the hood ornament ! It's not a 656 it's the 1075 I called on earlier but someone was there buying it . Well that someone was my cousin and my son . This thing is raunchy , dirty, and just flat out cool in my eyes. . I'm really loving these short frame square hoods . And to top it off I also got a tee shirt ( there's no mistaking who I am at the show ) ! Enough talking here's some pics.

1ST OF ALL HIIIIIII !! everyone - I have just inherited these 2 little tractors in the uk and I do not know much about them except whats listed below and would love some feedback as to what I should ask for them when I sell them please and info I could put with them please - I think 1 of them is a c-145 - kohler engine - approx. 1980's and its just had a new kohler engine fitted prior to me getting it a few days ago . the other might be a lawn ranger ? commando 800 ? 1970's ? they come both fully working and in just excellent condition and the 800 has just had all brand new engine parts and electrics fitted too . they also come with paperwork and manuals and paperwork showing that they were both in the uk's great dorset steam fair.s so that's pretty cool I guess .

I know of a guy who pulled into a Mercedes-Benz dealer in an oil truck(home heating oil). The windows in the showroom let all the salesmen see this. This gentleman not only drove the truck but also owned the company. He was looking to buy his wife a NEW car, and after 10-15 minutes walking around the showroom NOT ONE of the salesmen got up to help him. It was after one of the mechanics noticed the guy there for some time he asked if he could help him. When the mechanic tried to bring him to a salesmen he said" No I want to buy the car from you!" Only then did the salesmen get involved as well as the owner of the dealership. The owner stated that only salesmen get commission, not the mechanic. The oil truck driver then said, "it is very unfortunate that your mechanic cannot receive the commission he deserves. Now no one gets one," and he left. I believe his wife is now driving a BMW!!!

Last week my grand daughter's desk top installed windows 10 after she had rejected it for several months. I have been getting message pop ups on my computer wanting me to upgrade to windows 10. It doesn't give me the option of saying I don't want it, just when do I want to update. I guess It's just a matter of time til it upgrades to windows 10 against my will. What happened to having a choice of which windows I want on my computer.

Considering the fact that Elijah was a powerful prophet who came down to join Moses for Christ's tranfiguration it seems appropriate for a 16 HP GT.

Figured id post a pic. It's the 54 inch blade. I have it all torn apart for clean up and paint to match the horse. I ordered the bracket for the back rear end and new skid feet for the plow. Maybe in a week or so I'll have it on the horse all like new hopefully.

A pre-cursor to Preparation H...The Pond's experimental anti-hemmoroid seat proved to be a very unpopular option and was quickly scrapped in favor of a new attach-o-matic device for implement changes...

To me the add on tank is a disaster waiting to happen, backing into something and having gas splash on to the operator.

You guys stay up too late looking at seats! My comments: If we had pics of the ants or bite marks Tied for first! Craig gets the extra points for the Ivy and the comedy of the block of wood and missing back half of the tractor but loses some on the Bolens. That's actually a nice seat! Zeek already has 8x10 pics of me all over his garage so he's out unless he can bring me some of that chicken! 417 seat is too dangerous to look at if your on blood thinners like me. Nice trailer!
