The Calendar is currently in the production phase. Hope to get it finalized by the end of next week. When it's ready, I'll start an ordering thread. PLEASE READ IT!!!!! DO NOT ORDER A CALENDAR IN THIS THREAD!!! I know it's looks like I'm yelling , but well I am. I sent out 60 calendars last year., and if I have to go through what I did last year this will be last time I do this. Much to difficult weeding through multiple threads making sure everyone who wants one, gets one. Thanks!!!!

We picked up another Kubota for the Farmette a few weeks ago because the LT spit the bit. This will be the Wife's go to tractor for doing the fields. She doesn't like the B or the BX. To many levers She says. Anyway 3 cylinder Diesel and 4x4 except in tight turns when it is disabled and 54'' deck.

An inexpensive multi-meter may will have difficulty giving a precise reading in the under 1 ohm range. The meter leads themselves can sometimes contribute a significant error into the final reading. To best read stator winding resistance, first eliminate the effect of multi-meter lead resistance from the measurement. Connect meter leads together. preferably using strong alligator clips instead of test probes. Allow the meter to settle to a final reading. Let's say you read 00.20 ohms. Note this reading for future use. Next, check the stator for gross issues by measuring from each stator lead to the metal stator core. This will check for defective windings in the stator which are in contact (shorted) to the stator core. Both stator wires should show infinite high resistance in this test. Finally, measure resistance between both stator wires - 00.69 ohms as seen below. Subtract the first reading noted from the multi meter leads shorted together (00.20) from the wire to wire ohms reading (00.69). The result is the best approximation of stator resistance you will be able to obtain with an inexpensive multi-meter.

hello men, hope i don't get in trouble with the moderators, but AMC RULES (craig) asked for jeepster with plow pics. so here ya go craig. its a 56 willys cab and front clip on a severely shortened late 70's chevy truck frame. 350 cubic inch engine, NP205 t-case and SM465 tranny. turns on a dime. really pushes snow!!! hope you guys enjoy the pics. thanks to my buddy phil for the help with loading these pics. i forgot to mention the tow boom is a late 1920's early 1930's weaver auto crane. it is the 3 ton model. it is hand cranked and still works great! regards mike in mass.

If you mean the "ignition" switch, 10A is safe, but make sure the switch is rated for 10 amps DC, not AC. Big difference. The 10A switch will easily handle 3 -4 amps of current thru the ignition coil. If you start to wire in lights, etc, go for a larger 20 -25 amp DC rated switch. If you are not 100% set on originality, Bill's recommendation to add in a 3 position ignition switch and a starter relay energized SG motor is definitely the way to proceed. May be even cheaper $$ wise to make the change.

hi guys, with the spindle corrected on the C100 and a few last minute touches the tractor was ready for delivery to RH. when i got there his wife before seeing the tractor commented "we have enough junk" she came out to watch it being offloaded and was impressed. she even said she could drive that tractor. RH was at work as we work different shifts these days. i wanted to surprise him. the next day day he came up to me at work just before the shift change. he was astounded that i was giving him the tractor. he loved it. getting the tractor in/out of my truck can get dicey.(i do not have a trailer) i would like to thank my special friend, real deal navy seal RB who always helps load/unload and is a big help around the garage. on the way back from RH's house we stopped at the american legion and had some cold ones. nice end to a good day. best regards mike in mass.

Make sure your battery cables are in good shape too. all the cranking power in the world means squat if the cables can't carry it.

Got my D 180 all rewired and got it to hit a few times the other day. Went today and got new gas line and replaced it all and the vacuum line going to the fuel pump. After quite a few turn overs finely the fuel filter filled with gas and then it happened. IT FIRED UP, the mufflers are gone and the thing sounded like a airplane starting up. After about a minute or two the engine smoothed out and ran like a champ. I have to get a new battery for it. will a big lawn mower battery work or does it need a car battery? Now all i need is something to do with it. cant wait until garden time
