8 pointsThe guy who did this video was in my High School graduating class...Elgin High 1967. Bob is the author and musician that put this video together. Sadly, he just passed a few weeks ago. The pictures are of most of us that went through the Service in the late 60's. These are friends that I still get together with, golf with and sometimes party with. We have lost a few of these guys, but the memories are still strong. I am in the last picture, back row, middle. Steve H. Thanks for watching.

7 pointsWe got about 8" but its still coming down. Decided to plow w/654 instead of using 702 & blower cause snow was kinda heavy along with being windy.
-
6 pointsWith 25 tractors to feed, it's a no brainer. Move some flower pots and belt guards and put up some shelves! Make a list of all the common size stuff you use and order them with all of your stainless bolts and have them at your door in 2 days.
-
6 pointsThis is about as clean as it’s going to get today, it finally stopped snowing at 3:00pm

5 pointsThis Noreaster dumped some heavy wet snow. I had some knee high drifts. The big D definitely got a workout.

5 pointsAn honoring and humbling video of America's finest. Our son spend 18 months on the back of a flatbed truck behind 50 cal. as last gunner convoying in Iraq. He came home a changed man. Thanks for sharing

5 pointsSettled on a Gloss Smoke Gray for the lower/wider stripe. If you’re wondering how I came up with this color decision…well it was in stock in my paint cabinet! Looks very different depending on the lighting. Last picture is what I started with.

4 pointsOf all the people I've helped with or hooked up a Wheel Horse with this lady makes me the happiest. Linda my wife's cousin... out there showing them whose boss. A text from her this morning --> "Started first crank and kicked ass! I am practically giddy here. Thank you so much!" Avon Mountain / Collinsville CT Blizzard Calvin 02/23/2026

4 pointsThat's easy... hear tell curds and beans have roughly the same octane equivalent in the northern variety Homo sapien... I vote B.

4 pointsThis is the dealer sticker on our 702 that our neighbor bought when it was new. The building itself is no longer what it used to be but it is still there as someones garage or something.
-
4 pointsKeep em in stock. You got "??" tractors to maintain. Time to get you a Parts Department.

4 pointsTook the 417 out but didn’t get far, something happened with the PTO. I’m not sure what but I didn’t feel like messing with it and this is a lot of heavy wet so I parked it. It was time for the Ford 545-C. Thank goodness I had it because it really made short work of it. After I cleaned off most of the driveway I moved the vehicles into the cleared area to clean them off. After that I wanted to clean that area again and the area where they were parked but the 545 wouldn’t start, so out came the 418-C for the clean up! Thank goodness I had a backup, and a backup for my backup 😂😂 All said and done we got about two feet of snow. Just came in to put a log on the fire and take a nap!

3 pointsWe only got two or three inches of new snow, but it was blustery, which caused some drifting, and the wind blew the snow off of many places, leaving several bare areas on the driveway, as well as blowing the snow off of our vehicles. I didn't even bother to plow the driveway, although I did have to shovel about six inches off of the front steps. I'll wait and see how much new snow comes with tomorrow's storm and re-assess the driveway situation.

3 pointsAriens blower first and a clean up after with the 520-8…no problems. Maybe 12” and it wasn’t wet/heavy like I was expecting.

2 pointsLooking at getting a new seat for the ol 1257. Don't know how previous owner (@WHX??) was so ruff on the one on it? Would like to get a poll on which seat y'all prefer. I know it is ultimately my choice but thought it might be fun to get a tally on which would be the most popular. I think I like the one with the white middle. From left to right ABCD what say ye Wheel Horse junkies. If anyone has pictures of these seats installed, I sure would like to see um. This is the seats Matt Castagno sells on fakebook .

2 pointsWe got about 14” of kinda wet snow. The C-121 and the snowblower and our big Ariens 1332 took care of it! Did the walks and patio and trails for the dog also today with the Ariens. But we have more on the way all this week so the C-145 with the plow with me on standby!

2 pointsIt's hard to tell with all the wind and drifts but guessing about 10-14" on top of what was still on the ground from the last big one. Kind of nice NOT to have the highest totals in the area for once!
-
2 pointsOur 3" melted away by yesterday afternoon. I was able to walk out for the mail in my slippers...
-
2 pointsLooking good out there Ed, we only got about 3" total and by yesterday afternoon it had melted away. Can you send a close up of your Wheel Horse shingle? I would like to do something similar and repurpose my newspaper box post with something Wheel Horse. If anyone knows me well enough, you would know that I didn't just use the green metal electric fence post that they provided, oh no, I had to fabricate one out of 2" square tubing, have it powder coated in bronze color, and anchor it with 120# of Sakrete... So, it will be staying. Stay safe out there everyone. Thanks, Dan
-
2 pointsYou're correct. I confirmed by email yesterday afternoon that Kohler has superceded the number to a gasket with no ring. At this point, only actual vintage NOS will have one.

2 pointsMy buddies from my HS graduating class get together for lunch every month on the first Monday. We have had as few as 8 up to 26 show up.

2 pointsI would have replaced the head bolts. My Mennonite hardware store just re-did the nut and bolt bins. Grade 8 Flange head bolts. Big drawer full of them. Just bought 7 of them for my Power King K321 and it was $3 and change.
-
2 pointsSnow has stopped. 16”. Headed out now to open the end of the driveway and do the sidewalks. The already cleared part of the driveway has melted in the sorta-sun!
-
2 pointsYou know it's cold when you have to warm up the little propane tank with a heat gun in order to get a flame out of it! Used the torch to heat and re-shape that broken idler spring. Drive belt and tractor is back in business for now, although it will need some permanent attention when it warms up.
-
2 pointsYep! And I had a couple rattle cans in my cabinet…easy choice
-
2 pointsAbout 10"s of wet stuff. Perfect for the 520H and 48" blade. About 2 hours an 2 gallon of fuel to clean up the neighborhood.

2 pointsWell I awoke to about 4-5" of wet snow in the driveway. The 416-H with 48" blade made short work of it. That machine is a beast. I used to use the B-100-8 speed which did a fine job, but as age has crept up on me, the hydro transmission and hydro lift of the 416 makes it much easier on this old guy.

2 pointsThat's not terrible for 10 Squirrelly. Bet they want another 30 for shipping tho. Best check with Handy Don & RI Bill to make sure viton is compatible with rocket fuel tho. You know how they like to make lunar rovers out of GTs ... just kidding guys sense of humor check just kidding ...
-
2 pointsOk on to much much more serious business ... 875 out the shop and this girl follows it in. 875 didn't need a damn thing 'cept for a bath. Well since wash equipment is put away for at least another month so she just got a drool bath. Another original ... you resto guys can take a hike. Needs a bath too but more important some head gasket leakage? More on that in tractors.
