12 pointsWe've put a deposit on a 2026 Keystone Coleman 13B. Coleman Travel Trailers - Compact Comfort Trailers - Keystone RV https://share.google/unmuxzxyGQupcq8Qc Basically an enclosed utility trailer with a restroom and great storage. This will give us the storage space to keep all our standard camping equipment in a permanent place. Likely upgrades will be an axle flip for increased ground clearance and larger tires.

9 pointsMiniature Golf Day is celebrated worldwide on September 21, not to be confused with National Miniature Golf Day celebrated on the second Saturday in May, in the United States. Miniature golf can be traced back to the 19th century. It was originally created in Victorian Scotland to allow women to play golf because, at the time, it was considered unladylike for women to raise a golf club above their shoulder level — this basically meant that regular golf was not an option. Now, miniature golf is played worldwide by women, men, and children.

9 pointsPlastic lined the 2 stage blower chute today. Still need to make new rubber paddles for the impeller. They're worn down pretty far but ran for a good 5-6 years or so. Can't remember exactly where I saw this plastic thing done but it might have been from a geasy Pete post. Thought I'd give it a try this year and we'll see how it performs and holds up

8 pointsFreaking awesome 'Fish... 1045 all back finally together after being neglected all summer. Go to tub puller. Nothin like a fresh tranny. Tried @Racinbob patented input shaft shimming but kept binding it up???? Needs hood hinge work yet. Thinkin maybe weld washers on??

7 pointsA few days ago I was messing around with the rims on the front of my 854 as they were greasy and someone spray painted them with white spray paint. I knew from sometime earlier this year from when I was messing with the engine tins on another tractor that someone had spraypainted silver over the original red for some reason, that brake clean works good at removing spray paint. I messed around a little bit with the wheel and brake clean yesterday afternoon but this morning i decided i was gonna wash them with some soap and get them degreased first. Today I have found another way of getting rid of spray paint, removing surface rust, and bringing the original paint back to seeable conditions. All you need is some 000 or very fine steel wool, Dawn power wash, elbow grease, and patience. One thing I've noticed from doing this is that when all of the bumps are gone, say its rust or grease or dirt, its very smooth like you're just going over fresh paint with wax. I'll post a google slides tomorrow with the rims that I did but silly me didn't take a before photo for any of it but it still shows how nice they turned out.

7 pointsDid some more maint work on free 702 today. Also installed hitch I bought at big show from Brian @K&B Wheel Horse on Workhorse.

7 pointsGetting his Lawn Ranger cleaned up and ready to polish. Got to love saving some original paint!

6 pointsLove mine! Thinking about moving it from my dedicated plow tractor to my 510-8

5 pointsI did this on a Coleman Columbia pop up. In 1989 I traded my 3000 lb 30' Mobile Traveler for the 1000 lb Coleman to take a tour of the Western National Parks. We spent 30 days and 5000 miles on the road in the camper. Total cost for the trip was $2900. Best vacation ever.

5 pointsAt our age my wife even considers taking the trash to the dump together qualifies as a date. Gotta take what you can get.

5 pointsYou can get fuel strainer parts at Napa, Tractor Supply ,Rural King Ect. Those sediment bowls are a French word for " fuel leak"

4 pointsWe pulled the pontoon out of the lake today. Clyde, the C-195 was used to maneuver the loaded pontoon trailer into its parking spot. So much easier to use Clyde than the Ram 1500 to do this.

4 pointsThis is a great product. I have found that you need to do a test area first though. I sprayed some in the grease catch on my Blackstone and it took the paint off. Right down to bare metal. Was going to clean the whole out side of the grill with it but decided not to. In their defense, I guess it did remove all the grease from the inside of the grease catch.
-
4 pointsSometimes it is a blessing that whoever painted them did not do a proper paint prep first.... makes for easier removal.

4 pointsOur chickens love to follow the tractor, picking the bugs I kick up. Occasionally they get so involved in their feast, they fail to notice that I've made another round. Slows me down a bit. Them chickens ain't too bright.!

4 pointsThe white domed building is the McKim Observatory built in 1884. It is owned and operated by DePauw University. https://www.depauw.edu/about/campus/mckim-observatory/ 140 years old and very well preserved. On the National Register of Historic Places and has the original early telescope. The last picture is of the time clock that keeps the telescope aligned with what you are viewing- again clock technology from 1880s! This telescope was the 30th major observation telescope built in the USA according to to DePauw University.

3 pointsToro hasnt been great with parts availability or suppport on legacy machines, thankfully...engines are mostly universal between brands and Deere has probably the best parts lookup search engine, in that..they usually give you not just their number...but a good description. Likewise...Kawasaki, not the easiest to lookup FD engine parts on Toro..but, Deeres site is easy, and you can cross the number to the Kawi number

3 pointsWe've got the 18' version of that. Works OK. I got 2 HF scissor jacks to put under the front corners of the trailer when parked. Makes a world of difference in the stability when moving around inside. The toung jack does not clear the tailgate on the truck, so one has to keep that in mind to avoid a ding in the tailgate.
-
3 pointsThat's what was nice when we had or 18 Ft. Camper. All of the gear stayed in there and all we needed to load was food and clothes.
-
3 pointsMy 875 came with a PO installed solenoid. EXCEPT where it was mounted was a hoot. A friend owned it before me and the solenoid was already there. The lift arm/rockshaft was missing on the tractor so I gave him one. He puts it on and raises the lever and ZAP!!!The rock shaft connected both large terminals together. A lever starter just like an old farm tractor!

3 points@76c12091520h Brian had some for sale too. I bought a couple. A hitch for every tractor is a good life goal.

3 points20 years ago the financial controller was in my office chewing the fat. At the time he has young sons and telling me he was shopping at Sam's club over the weekend. How cool is that did you take the boys over to the tire area to smell the tires. He went huh! I told him that is the best place in the store next to the free sample area. Got to smell the tires. He said okay I will check it out next time. A month goes by and he stops by and told me the boys loved the tire section, as well as himself!

3 pointsToo many health hazards related to brake clean, I like your 000 or very fine steel wool, Dawn power wash, elbow grease, and patience method.

3 pointsYou and me both. HVLP gun, Krylon hardener, acetone reducer. 4-1-1 ratio. Rear fender turned out pretty good, but it's still not as hard as it should be after two weeks. The hood was my fault, because I sprayed too many coats and the undercoats never hardened. I scraped it all off with a putty knife a couple days ago. Hopefully the third try will produce a good result. I knew it wouldn't be as hard as automotive paint, but I really didn't want it to be. Three of my tractors are painted with Dupont Centauri and that stuff is so hard it chips with a big scratch. It's beautiful paint, but a big chip is difficult to repair. Sometime this week I hope to re-shoot the hood. Fingers crossed...

3 pointsIt's been 20 years since I've had a Schnake recoil but is it possible to just flip that hex nut around and start denting the other end?

3 pointsAdd a romantic table in the corner (candles, table cloth, strolling violin, air freshener to kill the tire smell) plus a nice menu and "voila!” a date destination! 😁

3 pointsWe have three Rural Kings within 20 miles. North, West or South. All have been around for a few years. Pretty good on stock but the south and west bound ones are the better of the 3. If I get within a couple miles of one, I kind of get the shakes. My wife says taking her there is not exactly a date! They carry those same blue bolts and they work good. You can buff off the blue on a wire wheel and find a nice silverish coating underneath if your wanting it to show. I get their brand of diesel oil for the Kohler machines. It comes from supplier Warren Oil a major supplier. How can you beat it.....good hardware, oil, filters, parts, belts, guns, ammo, and carhartt's

2 pointsWhile living in Florida I was mowing with a push rotary mower which suddenly stalled. I pulled it back to restart the engine and saw the remains of a rattle snake that had gotten decapitated. At that point I went in the house, had a couple of beers and put on a pair of boots before finishing the mowing.

2 pointsNah, it slicks em up for better flow. Pam dresses all my snow equipment.

2 pointsIn Jim's pic the large red is battery feed, the blue wire is to the bat terminal of the switch. The long small black wire is from the switch start terminal. The large black is to the Armature terminal of the genny and the small black wire on the 2nd small terminal is the ground.
-
2 pointsI replaced both hexnuts on the endcap with threaded hex spacers to become a pair of tapped standoffs to mount the plate.
-
2 pointsWire from s on the switch to the S on the solenoid. I terminal gets grounded. Should be nothing on the large terminals but power from battery and to starter. FYI the pigtail for that switch is readily available in the jungle and cheap.

2 pointsDad and his dad. would tell me as a child that thing cycle. A lot of things. FAST forward. I was a warehouse supervisor during the most recent pandemic. Staffing was a nightmare. ALWAYS IS. Owners son brought ALL of his friends from high school. I had trepidation. These children were wonderful... AND most of them listened to the same music that I Liked that MY parents introduced me to. I was blown away Uh how in the F do you know and enjoy uh Jethro Tull or the Led zeppelin???. Well because its darn good music. Better music better cars better work ethic, etc etc etc Good times. I think we are going to see another upturn. I can palpate it.

2 pointsMine don't get that close, usually about a foot away pecking at the fresh clippings.
-
2 pointsBeen a couple weeks since I sprayed them. We'll see... it's been hard to find time to tinker lately so the paint had plenty of time to cure. I'm a bit dissapointed in the Rust-Oleum paint that I mixed and added hardener. Honestly I think it takes longer to cure than rattle cans. I hope it cures to something harder than rattle can, but we'll see. I had to drill new holes in the seat springs. The bolt pattern was off by 1/2 inch on the width. Would've been easier if the difference was bigger. I'd rather fab an adapter plate than drill spring steel. But it worked.out and she's starting to look like a tractor. I'm gonna flip the pan pivot bar and set it down another inch. I'll have to trim the fender over the belt guard again, but it was easy on the previous cut. Stuck the first sticker on. Couldn't help myself.

2 pointsMore pictures could help confirm the model, but regardless of the model it is a Wheel Horse and we are here to help you get to know it better.
