I came back with more than I left with at the Meet and Greet…. This time it’s a 1983 C-85 with a K181 engine in a box and no transmission. But if you’ll remember back in May, I bought a trailer and truck bed full of parts and the C-141 Frankenstein Automatic from @ebinmaine. Well, there was an 8 speed trans that went with it. That went into the C-85 this afternoon. I have a 16hp Kohler K341 that came from a RV Generator that needs some small modifications to work. That is the engine that will probably go in it. I also FSAG mocked it up for Side shot Saturday and Sunday. More later…

The ACE brand implement paint works well too. It seemed to be thin enough when I painted the C-141 to run through a HVLP gun with no reducer. It came out great. I’ve used Rustoleum as well. It required a reducer.I like the ACE better.

I was messing around with the English wheel today and decided to run a panel on it to try it out. Just a little time made a big difference. After the DR releases me I think I will be able to get it pretty straight.

Cleaning is done. Only other issue I found besides the busted toilet and peeling floor was a bit of seepage coming out of the water heater. Tank looks pretty rusty. Will have to replace that too, luckily where we are taking it next week we don’t need the water hooked up. Have full shower and bathroom facilities right around the corner from where we will be parked at. Fixing the toilet and water heater will be a good project this winter when I get a spot cleaned out in the shop for it.

On the return trip from a weekend leave when I was in the Navy I would stop about an hour away from the base and park by the pumps of a closed gas station to take a nap. They opened at 6:00 am so that was my wake-up call in time to make morning muster on the ship.

This is from yesterday afternoon. This evening Trina used the air hose to clean out the crevaasseess from these decks. Then I went to adjust the air pressure down and the regulator pretty much fell apart in my hand. C'MON MAN!!! 🤬 So I took a few minutes to temporarily rig up a replacement regulator that'll be wall mounted later. Then she sprayed waste oil 🛢 in the three decks. Before my father passed he made sure to give certain things to certain people. He felt like TRINA needed an oil undercoat gun. Go figure ehh? 😅 In between the confllabbery of the above adventures I put two more coats of Cottage white on these weights.

Halex 1/2 in. Rigid 1-Hole Strap (4-Pack) 96111 - The Home Depot A little fine tuning will be needed. Get the ones for rigid pipe. The big box store straps for EMT are lighter. These days I've noticed that even the rigid straps are sometimes lighter.

Congratulations on your new RV! We really enjoy ours.... a 1987 Avion 34W that we got in 2013. Went WAY north to Hancock, MI to pick it up.... we've had a great time with it, and can provide some input, depending on what you are needing info about.... Happy trails!!

I've been wanting to get back to this tractor but I got other things taking my time right now, cleaning up the other tractors planning on taking them to a show this weekend. And then I have been working on building a chicken coop as well. Chickens are starting to lay eggs now and need a place for winter.

I put the English wheel together to test the mods and realised I had forgotten to make grease seals for the modified bore so I made a couple . I discovered the bottom anvil would not track with the upper wheel. I fixed the problem and tried it out. Works pretty good as is but could be better with some frame stiffening. Another project added to the list.

Share your experiences with people I'm doing the gas pumps as parking spots. Extra points for stories that they don't pump any gas at all and just park so you cannot have access My story is yesterday I needed just a couple of gallons so I could use my stash of Kroger gas mostly a dollar off earned from fuel points. Speedway in Englewood Ohio takes the prize for half the pumps not working and shoppers parking at the pumps that do work. My wife was at one store and I was picking up some bits at harbor freight with that gas station close by. At least she was not angry at me for making her wait. Never going to that station again I have lots of ridiculous examples of selfish people, but I want to hear about yours

My pet parking peeve is the ratio of the reserved parking spaces at our Giant Food store. The first two spaces in each row are for charging the eees. Still don't understand why it requires two spaces to charge one ecar. The next two are for Handicap use. always full. The next four are for pregnant ladies. very seldom used. The next four are for employee of the month. never used, how can there be more than one employee of the month Mrs. K can walk with the aid of a shopping cart so I drop her at the door near an available cart then go to the rear of the lot to park.

I see lots of terrible parking in the course of my job, mostly by entitled people who are too lazy to walk more than three feet to the door, so the block the door to the shop. But we don't have gas pumps. I think the worst one I've seen with gas pumps, and it was so much entitled as it was stupid, was this one guy at Sam's. He had one of those push-button start cars (don't get me started on how dumb those are). Anyway, he dropped his girlfriend off over at the store across the plaza and went to get gas. He shut the car off, pumped his gas, then remembered the key was in her purse.

That type of "Got mine, up yours" entitled attitude I see occasionally at the market - idiots parking in the Fire Lane.

Trailer Queen ... I highly doubt a $1500 paint job is going to see a (working) implement. @702854boy are mounted on the hood I believe. You ever get them apart Boy? https://www.wheelhorseforum.com/topic/112581-roundhood-headlights/?tab=comments#comment-1240509 I saw the price and would bet if you called the guy on it some one has got fat fingers and the 54.29 is right. Any one who is dumb enough to pull the trigger at that price has it coming. I paid 45 at the time I think that was 5 years ago already.

The issue was the bracket part that clamps over the axle housing. The cutout in it isn't big enough for the hydro axle . had to grind it out some...

Any time I have to fix a plumbing circuit, I also put in a shutoff valve near the wet bay so should there be another issue I can turn off that circuit. Good deal on the camper, love camping myself

National Google.com Day is on September 15. What better day to learn about the parent company that started it all than by celebrating with us here at National Today? Google is a big part of our lives. Google started solely as a search engine but now is a multinational technology company that offers many other services. The word ‘Google’ has become a verb. It’s pretty crazy to see how this search engine grew and is now embedded in our lives. The history of Google began in January 1996. Larry Page and Sergey Brin, Ph.D. students at Stanford University, started a research project to build a better search engine. They developed an algorithm called PageRank, which analyzed relationships between websites; it determined their relevance based on the number of links to other sites. When the search engine was first developed, one of its earlier names was “BackRub.” This name was changed to Google, a misspelling of the word ‘Googol,’ which stands for the number one with 100 zeros after it. This was chosen because Google provides a lot of information and demonstrates that information on the internet is endless. On September 15, 1997, Page and Brin registered the domain “google.com.” In 1998, after raising money from investors, Page and Brin formally incorporated their business in a room attached to a friend’s garage in Menlo Park, California. By December 1999, Google was in beta mode, with about 10,000 search queries per day being answered.

Push mow it??? Maybe just tow the mower with you if it's far away from storage? Or, How about fastening a simple bracket that goes on to the side of the tractor to attach and use a push mower if the area is too big to push mow? Make it simple on / off and towable to take it to the area you need it. Hook it up to do the job and tow it back when it's all done. It's just hard to know what can be done with such a limited description of the task

These might be what you are looking for. Achto has a set on his rat rod and I kinda copied that. Don't remember where I got them but most likely the jungle or fleabay. You can run them without the visors if their not your thing.

Just to repeat, this Horse was obtained for zero dollars. I don't intend to put much into it as it was only meant to be a temporary lawn ornament for Halloween. Getting the engine to run was not necessary, but helps to make it easier to move it around.

My all time GO-TO is a Muffaletta, The olive spread and selection of savory meats is outstanding and the lunch place we went to yesterday makes them so large I can only eat half in one sitting. The flavors tend to infuse themselves into the bread over night so today's lunch will be even better.

First question, what model Wheel Horse will the 48" mower be mounted on? You would want 12 HP or more if it has a manual transmission or 14 or more for a Hydro.

I decided the sheetmetal was gonna need to be stripped and repainted. But I haven't been able to make time for several weeks. Just for giggles, I decided to try Rustoleum mixed with hardener and a HLVP gun. I was surprised by how well it looked. The hood is gonna take some more work, but the fender turned out better. Time will tell, but so far so good.
