16 pointsSo Mrs. M and I took some much needed time off from the world and stood on a corner in Winslow, AZ

15 pointsNever forget Our Nation is in mourning, for those lost for our freedoms. There will be hatred always, but the way we handle it seems odd to this country boy. ‘Nuff said. RIP Charlie Kirk, a man who would respectfully debate with anyone, no matter their beliefs.
-
11 pointsWe are prevailed to live in a nation that was founded on freedom of speech and religious belief. The protection of these rights against discriminatory practices is a balancing act. My rights should only go to the point where they will not interfere with the rights of others. That was the philosophy of Charlie Kirk, freedom of religion and freedom of speech. Charlie Kirk was an amazing young man who inspired others through his "Turning Point USA" campaign encouraging young Americans to live a life of purpose, become involved and vote their conscience. In his thirty one short years Charley Kirk did more to unite and motivate high school and collage students than anyone I am aware of. He used the Constitution of the United States and the Bible as the basis of his debate points and would allow others to make their point in open debate. This is a sad time in our history Rest in piece Charlie Kirk.

10 pointsI have been working on my little shed at home and remembered how Dad would always put Masonite(tempered hardboard) down for a nice work surface. The great thing about it is it cleans up nice and when it gets too messed up you just pull it up and put down a new piece!! The 1/4" 4'x8' sheet was less than $25 I am still organizing this shed at my house since I got it a couple of years ago. My shop is 9 miles away, so I have to have stuff here too!

10 points@Bar Nuthin @SylvanLakeWH the chickens and cats are so cross with me right now, they aren’t laughing. Cats haven’t been out since Monday, chickens have been cooped up for 3 weeks! No poopin’ or scratchin’ allowed on my new mud!

9 pointsNo matter your beliefs, no matter what culture or lifestyle- No one deserves to die for what they say. We have alot to reflect upon at this time. Emotions are running high and the shock of horrible events doesn't ever really go away, whether 24 years ago or yesterday. I pray that God will be with us all. Regardless of your beliefs, it's clear more than ever that we need it.

9 pointsNow that you clowns got properly ... EB would say it's all good... Casing down to 245 ft. with the screen. It was interesting that he put the screen down to the bottom then pulled the casing back up so the screen hangs out the bottom of the casing. Would have liked to see how he cut off the pipe and drive coupling to final grade but had a doctors appt. He said it not a great well but not a bad one. Water up in the casing to about 14 ft. from the top. Today I noticed water dripping out of the conduit power connection and at times a decent stream. Maybe they did hit a artesian ?? Gotta like their custom caps! Now to wait on the pump installers. Can't wait for seat time on the FEL to move the dirt he pulled out and put the lawn back together.

7 pointsI had this one many years ago picked it up from Rick. Had it shipped up from his house enjoy the picture.

6 pointsLandfill score, someone had discarded the cast iron frame from a Singer sewing machine. Brought it home then cut the trade mark logo from the casting. Gave one to a buddy his wife wants him to clean up the rough edges, she wants to use it in the kitchen to set a hot pot onto. I'm going to steal her idea, clean it up then gift it to a girl friend.

6 pointsOn September 11, Patriot Day gives all of us time to reflect on the devastating terror attacks that took nearly 3,000 lives. We commemorate those who we lost and give thanks to the brave first responders who put their lives on the line. Take a moment today to consider what we stand for as a nation and how we can work together to make the world a better place for all.

6 pointsNot only got my 1054 running, I got the 48" mower deck fixed and remounted. Some shakin' & rattlin' going on but mowed 1/2 acre! Tractor needs a seat (1054/953). Mower (RM-483) needs replacement blades.
-
6 pointsJust keep in mind that there are only two types of concrete ... concrete that ain't cracked and concrete thats gonna crack ...
-
6 pointsToday, we will pour the last section of concrete. The pool is looking so good! The day old concrete was drilled for rebar to tie together with the fresh mud. The slopes are looking amazing. The concrete is high psi mud with fibers inside and graded to create optimum runoff in areas that need to shed water. My guys are phenomenal! They said no food, but yesterday was a T-bone day.

5 pointsThis is a brand new (discontinued) 106918 muffler, never been installed. No dents or scratches, never been fired. Can be marked for the big show if paid in advance.
-
5 pointsMade some good progress getting the 520H disassembled. The start of the evening fun: Pumped out 2 gallons of usable road gas. Some sheet metal removed. Engine OFF and headed to Jim's.
-
5 pointsPicked up the Work Horse tonight. Runs great & everything works. Needs a good cleaning & definitely a seat. I'll go thru it & change fluids, etc. Time to find a complete 2stage blower now
-
5 pointsIt's always gratifying to get a good old machine running again. Good job. It looks like your mower deck wasn't equipped with the Acme Automatic Desquirrelizer attachment.

4 pointsNot m, I turned around when I hit 50. I just celebrated my second 36th birthday!
-
4 pointsIn the Mountains of Western North Carolina the dogwoods have begun to turn and the poplars are beginning to shed some leaves. Second week of October seems to be the height of the colorful leaf season and each species takes its turn until mid November when the red oaks dominate the landscape. I generally do leaf grinding / sweeping three times during the fall because the accumulation of leaves is so great. Lots of seat time.
-
4 pointsI gotta disagree. I definitely hear the load on the engine increase when I engage the belt. Most noticable at low temp starts.
-
4 pointsIf an engine idles well, but runs erratically when revved up, like it hits and misses, pops and backfires, then chances are, it needs a new condenser/capacitor. And always install a condenser/capacitor with the wire facing downward so rain water and/or when washing off engine, water will not enter inside condenser/capacitor, ruining it. With water inside the condenser, this will also allow it to idle well, but cause it to run erratically when revved up.
-
3 pointsThey say a picture is worth a thousand words... That's HOUSE wiring double wrapped around the 12V cable. The house wiring was also double wrapped onto the battery positive side bolt 🔩

3 pointsThe fact that Jelly Fish have lived for 650 million years without a brain must bring great comfort to a lot of people!

3 pointsthey say if you live long enough.....there is not much you won't see. visiting the flight 93 memorial, just a few months after, when it was just a path through a field leading to a section of chain link fence. the fence had personal items of those on the plane secured to the links. a ball hat, briefcase, a shoe, a handbag etc. this was one of the most overwhelming feelings I ever had. real people, all lost. there is not a time when I see the numbers 911 that I don't reflect on how evil our world can be.
-
3 pointsI see they got us a little early as the leaves are giving up already. Usually here 75% of the foliage is gone by Halloween

3 points@JoeM find the experimentation , and WHAT IF ? ideas , the way to go . realise it upsets the purests , but it definitely eliminates the repetitive problem . as I often add , paint it red or black , and it disappears , have a number of problem spots , that have been changed over years ago , still marvel at the ridiculous smooth / easy reliable engagement . my grandson handles all my welding . stay at it , pete

3 pointsMy snow horses are all Sunstrands and the engine does drag down some on all of them when I engage the hydro. You can watch the belt it doesn't move when the hydro is disengaged.
-
3 pointsYes, I have to let my P220 warm up and increase the RPM a bit or it will stall when I engage the cold hydro.

3 pointsThings went great yesterday! Rylee has been whooping me in the gym, and I’m sore… but we got work to do! A handful of years back now, @Achto had a wonderful string of luck on the plow fields. His wallet and phone were both plowed under, on separate occasions. It seems the joke was that he’d have to plow naked from now on to not loose anything. I told the boys via text yesterday that it was National get naked and pour concrete and take selfies day Sorry @SylvanLakeWH for the show…

2 pointsI call dibs on that fine muffler. Oh, guess it goes with the engine, Guess Jim's gain is my loss.

2 pointsthat is a top notch repair! I guess people just don't know how those wheels are supposed to be used. Done the same, not nearly as fancy, used grade 5 bolts from Rural King, I think they were 5 inch and the majority of the roller runs on the smooth area of the bolt. I just cut off the unused thread. On the last set I just left the bolt head on and welded it. The 60" decks are a little differ but the job is kind of the same with a little hacksaw work. 60 inch swivel type anti scalp repair
