The Trina Momma's been doing a really cool craft project this past few days. I don't have a specific measurement but that's a kid sized blanket. It comes up to the Trina momma's waist. She had a pattern for the engine. Only. The other three squares are completely freehand knitting!!

I took it for a spin today. The overseas carb might need a bit more float tuning, it tends to flood out over any ruts. Otherwise, it’s great!

I see a Wheel Horse blanket coming soon.

I got the last C-160 running from my recent haul. The previous owner told me it blew out lots of oil and “I can’t tell you how many trees I’ve hit”. I swapped out the hood with a nicer one, and cleaned up the improperly assembled breather vent assembly. It runs great, and doesn’t blow the dipstick any more! @Jrblanke here’s some pictures of it for ya!

My neighbor was pulling drip tape in the sweet corn today when I noticed the brand on the spool. The boys maintain some tension on the spool to keep it from tangling while the horses pull the tape attached to a cultivator.

Quick bath to get some of the funk off em. The K-181 rolls over by hand, the 10hp does not, hopefully it’s just packed with critter stuff.

I'd say more than pretty alright I'd say good more for the rest of us ... Had an uncle once who would put some raw 3/8" slices between two slices of bread for a sammy...

Knowing the area was prone to more cracks, I decided to add some support. I free hand cut some 1/8” plate, drilled a hole in the center of each one, and bolted it down. I then burned ‘em in! A little marine paint because the was the first not-clogged nozzle I found, and it’s ready to flip, grease and mount!

Chooo chooo! Very cool! Jada loves to do blankets too. She nabs up all the cheap yarn she can get, and being the oldest of about 20 cousins she makes sure every new kid gets one!

Today, farmers in the United States are collecting millions of onions. They will be heading for store shelves to provide families with the fresh, nutritional, tasty power to improve meals and boost the body’s immunity. Onions have numerous advantages, such as enhancing meals with a variety of flavors. According to recent research, consuming onions also helps the body fight colorectal cancer and breast cancer, as well as heart disease and diabetes. National Onion Day commemorates the incorporation of the National Onion Association in 1913. The organization was created to protect the interests of America’s onion growers, and onions remain their business to this day. Today, the group represents over 500 onion producers, shippers, packers, and suppliers across the country.

My strawberries never produced well, too much shade, so I tilled them out and planted some spreading ground cover from another location that needed to be thinned out. Anyone know what this plant is. It is hardy, spreads quick, and chokes out any weeds. Then removed the tiller and installed the 48SD. The hoist sure makes it easy to lift the tractor and roll the deck under from the front.

Raw like eating an apple, Sauteed in butter with home fries and scrapple, Roast deer neck with onions taters and carrots, cheeseburger with onion and tomato, salads, and one of my faves, spring onions and radishes.

I am pretty sure that I was a young teen the last time I water skied. The boat riders were at one of Mrs. P’s coworkers from out of town. It was a work/entertaining night, and I was lucky enough to be invited as a plus one.

Bought these 2 today.. C-81 and a 1973 10-8 speed. Neither run, not sure what I’ll do with em. Bought cheap and were only 5 miles from home. While I was there I spotted a 42” RD shell that was brand new. For another $20 that came home with me. Strange electric lift thingy on the 10 horse machine. Factory??

Once they dry off it’s back to ugly! I just don’t want to wench on em till at least some of the grime is gone.

Or turn your stirrups so they are flat.

Take em off and run old school highway pegs ... You got a z turn any way... I suppose old school mowing... all the 60's decks I got I should go to old school just for the halibut.

I beat on the areas. Bit with my ball peen hammer, and got it as flat as reasonably possible. I welded up the cracks, then ground the beads smooth again.

I busted out the flap wheel on the 4-1/2” disc grinder, and cleaned the areas. Lo and behold, I found longer cracks. More holes drilled fixed them from spreading!

I'm disappointed. Sorta like watching a NASCAR race that ends without a crash. barefoot next? 50-ish years ago for me Don.

I wouldn't go by the pic on the manual. My 76 C 160 isn't supposed to have a flip seat and hood ornament but it has them. And the pic on the manual has them also.

Exactly what is on my Bronco 14. These units don't exactly have a following, and many were swapped out for coil ignition over the years. The modules were much more expensive than coil ignition, and they could be converted without opening the engine up. The pushrod hole for the points is simply plugged on the block. Pull that, and coil ignition bolts right up. I'll bet Bob's engine was just converted because the module failed. I only know this because it is my plan should mine fail, and many have made this conversion. If there is an error in the manual, the engine pic is likely the culprit. The confusing part for me is the magneto tab on the key switch is typically for grounding the mag. But if you pull the wire from my module, the engine shuts down. I need to go look at mine with a meter. I have always thought that wire to the module had voltage on it. Too many machines to keep up with...

My wife and kids would say someone took a picture of me in grumpy mode. ...I'm perfectly OK with that comparison! @Lane Ranger - not sure where you got that but I like it! If the show t-shirts are gonna be goofy, I nominate this picture to go on the next ones!

Today, I got back working on the C-141. I built the cantilever and rod to run and hook up the throttle. I also ran the choke and hooked that up too. I figured I’d also see if the electronics are good before I start the engine. Just have to charge the battery now to check that. That’s a job for tomorrow.

Such wisdom is seldom observed in such concise, one might even say, curd-ish, clarity... @Pullstart keeps Dinkin' around with all these 60's 70's 's like he's old or something...

Terry just made me a new custom set as well. Expecting them on Monday. I asked him to help me come up with something and sent him a pic of my tractor as it sits now. He sent me a rendered pic back, and I think it'll look great! Terry's work is awesome, and he's a great fella to deal with! Nobody else will get my money for decals.

I listed this good n straight 42” deck for sale on the Big Show buy/sell/trade thread and received no bites. It did have some cracks, so I decided to clean it up a bit today. I found a new set of blades on a beat up old deck, and gave them a little touch up on the belt sander. After popping them on, I busted out an 1/8” drill bit and a drill and popped some holes in the end of the cracks.

Un-yums, as a kid I'd eat them like apples. Used to like Gramma Brown beans and a slab of onion in a sandwich. Any way you make an onion works for me. Oh yeah liver and onions another favorite.

220 cca is pretty anemic to turn over a K321. At least charge it over night before trying again.

apparently some 42 rd's had the underneath plate and others did not ? Maybe someone else knows if wh added them in later years -- but for me, i had a damaged deck i was scrapping so i just transferred the plate from it to the deck i was rehabbing -- it would seem to make sense if people have a 42 rd without the reinforcement plate to get a piece of steel plate and drill the necessary holes in it and install as a preventative strategy to avoid future cracks from stress on the shells where the lift carriage assembly bolts come through?? It's a shame these decks have the same weakness flaws with common problems.

Unfortunately, the stirrups on my new “1445” hit the deck hanger arms. I’ll have to swap the front deck carrier onto that machine, and put this deck on the B-121!

Solo and raw, no thanks ("salad please, but no onions”). However, sautéed (on a burger, brat, or kielbasa) or in potato salad or other dish where the flavor blends in--definitely.

Sisters Husband and three boys do not eat onions, garlic, olives mushrooms. And a significant number of vegetables and fruit. Your well... gonna starve here. Not cutting crust off or making something special unless its a legit allergy. The first 4 ingredients are in a stuffed burger I smoke. Pretty alright.

Today’s update.., for the C-141, I built the cantilever and rod for the throttle. Then attached and fished the throttle cable and choke by the engine. the starter turns if you jump the solenoid, The battery in it is weak. I’m going to swap the battery tomorrow for the one in the 308 and see what happens. BUT…No magic smoke so at least there’s that.😁
