6 pointsStarted loading the trailer at about 4pm yesterday. I got one 701 loaded and the heavens opened. This drainage swale in front of my house rarely has any water in it. It rained 2" overnight. The good news is, my grandson Mason will be here today to help finish loading. We'll be on the road at 6am tomorrow, eating breakfast at the Apple Bin at 7:00, and in line at the fairgrounds by 8:00. See you all Thursday. Edit: The lastest Big Show Forecast

4 pointsMrs 8n and I had skin cancer screenings with the dermatologist today. Both came out with a clean report. I'll repeat in about a year, Mrs 8n in 2 years. Remember, don't be shy. A bit of exhibitionism sure beats a fight with skin cancer.

4 pointsOMG...WHX?? & Achto missed the INT 80/90 turnoff and stayed on INT 94 ?? Didn't you guys realize you were going up-hill, instead of down?? Did you go through Paw Paw, Mi?? Stop at any wineries?? Maybe I should have left my truck at the Restaruant and rhode out with you guys. Let me guess, you figured it out and got onto INT 69 south back to INT 80/90. Just guessing, but Holy Cow Batman !!

3 pointsWe left this morning (Wednesday) at 3am and made a few stops along the way. Almost bought a new camper at Camping World in Hamburg but got out before I signed on the dotted line 😂 Then stopped at a really nice car and motorcycle cycle museum in Intercourse, called Barry’s Car Barn. Made it to our Air BNB around 6pm. We will be at the fairgrounds tomorrow morning at 8:45. Here’s my rig loaded up and ready to go!
-
3 pointsI loved reading through this thread. I work till 12:30 tomorrow, then its hammer down north bound!
-
3 pointsKevin, I was at breakfast with Jim & Dan when you texted them about your breakdown. You could not have broke down in a better area to find help. The boys are probably about 1 1/2 hours from Toledo at this point.
-
3 pointsWe took the scenic route today, no turnpike. Broke down Youngstown OH with a massive fuel leak. O’reilly to the rescue, and we’re on the road! 4 hours out
-
3 pointsYeah, on some things others sometimes (body parts) need a bit more finesse.😁
-
3 pointsAgreed!!! I go every year and she usually finds a couple precancerous things to burn off. Wear a hat... you hair isn't as thick as it used to be
-
3 pointsMassaging... what a funny term for vigorous use of a BFH!
-
3 pointsThat reel mower looks familiar! Have a safe trip! I am in Bristol, VA tonight. Be in Gettysburg tomorrow.
-
3 pointsI haven't even washed the tractor yet. In fact, I can't even get to the tractor. There are too many tents in my garage.

2 pointsI know I've seen some generic and 100% not WH carts and trailers around at previous years. I even brought my black plastic one in with me one year, just to round up stuff I'd bought through the day, and nobody said boo. It seemed to me that there is a silent acknowledgement my the organizers that yard trailers are very useful at the show for collecting and transporting purchases, and that WH branded ones can be hard to come by these days. But yeah, showing up with one that has a running critter might get you shot at. Or at least your trailer. Wonder what would happen if I rolled in with my 855 sporting the JD K181 I have on a shelf.
-
2 pointsOnce a set of hubs get worn and loose there isn't a way to fix them. The taper lock hubs from A-Z Tractor will fix the problem. I replaced both of mine with the taper lock on my Raider .
-
2 pointsI believe Teddy has a Piston To Piston Sunstrand in the C-160 with a needle valve type tow valve. It has to be unscrewed. (The older hydro gears used a port valve which you could remove as a unit.) \Piston to piston tow valve If you get it too hot you may damage eh o ring...I have some if you need them

2 pointsAttended the Evansville Indiana Southern Indiana Antique Machinery Club Show this past weekend. This poor 702 was on a trailer for sale the whole weekend. I decided to pull the trigger and use it for my next YouTube series. Hope I can bring it back to life and not get parted out. Haven't really looked at it much as I'm waiting to reveal most of the tractor on the first video. My buddy Zach helped drag it back to the trailer YouTube Short Teaser Video

2 pointsA whole lotta staring and thinking goes into something like this! At least that's how it works in my shop.
-
2 pointsToday between hanging out with my nieces and nephews, I got more work done on the Frankenstein C-141. I got the frame ends welded by my father, and assembled the rear end up to the fender mount. I also installed the upper dash and started to figure out how to get the throttle and choke working. All I have to do now is hook up the throttle and choke and change out the fuel pump on the K321 and it may run and move.
-
2 pointsThey've been plentiful here too. Permethrin. Light colored clothing. Check and remove them OFTEN in areas where you have the lonestar or other more dangerous ticks. Up here - so far - no lonestar. As long as we remove them every 12 to 24 hours we're in very little danger of sickness.
