22 points...and the rest is history. I'm so glad that back in November of 2009, the day before Thanksgiving, I was looking for a plastic dash for my 1977 B-100. I stumbled upon this site and the rest is history. So many friendships have been created just for the sake of finding a new dash. Today, the day before Thanksgiving 15 years later, I am truly thankful to have found RedSquare. 🦃

13 pointsWe've got a pretty fair sized snow storm coming up on Thursday afternoon. We're on this red circle right on the 6" line. The BBT has been in GO MODE at home finalizing for us to move it. She reorganized the equipment storage including getting both plow mo-chines out. Got my 1975 C160 Automatic with the BIG 60 inch plow faced and ready. She changed the drive belt on her own 867 Pigpen. Installed the rear bracket, plow, and tire chains. She even had help from the chickens!! BRING IT ON!!!

12 pointsUsually check site first thing in the morning. Cup of coffee and just scroll through, like sitting down with a bunch of old friends and chatting about anything and everything life throws at you. Thank you all!

11 points14 years for me. I remember going to the Pageant of Steam in 2009 and seeing a WH line up there and said wow people collect them. I have no idea why i picked New Years Day to join. It's been great except for having to put up with Waldo and actually having him riding in my truck in search of lost restaurants.
-
11 pointsI have trouble remembering what I did yesterday, so what I was doing over 12 years ago when I joined is lost in my memory bank. I do know I will never forget the friends I have found here. RIP Jay.

10 pointsHope you all have a safe and Happy Thanksgiving. Let's see some pictures... This is from a few years ago...the current one tomorrow.

9 points@rmaynard Bob, you were the very first RedSquare member I met when I first set foot on the South Mountain Fairgrounds for my first Wheel Horse show back in 2011. We chatted, you said I had to meet this guy @stevasaurus, you brought me over to him and introduced us, and the rest is indeed history. This place has been such a huge resource for me over the years, both for the information and the great people here, I never would have been able to stay with the brand for all this time without all of you. Thanks for everything, and everybody enjoy your Thanksgiving tomorrow!

8 pointsDon’t store your babies next to your buckets! Also, my turkey is all dirty. A good soak in the bath tub will help.
-
8 points18 years for me, not here as often as I like, but still my favorite place

8 pointsDear Lord, your servant Jay Paxton will undergo surgery tomorrow. Please guide the surgeon's hands to be steady and effective to do the task at hand, and not create any further damage We pray against any infection or complications. Calm the heart of his family. Lord please allow this temporary trial to bring an end to Jay’s battel with cancer. When he is coming out of surgery, let the side effects be minimal. Work a miracle in this whole situation and bless it from beginning to end. Thank you Lord, we praise you as we know we are in good hands- the very hands of God. In Jesus name, we thank you for each day. Amen.

6 pointsMy first foray into websites on garden tractors was a total letdown, only had one person respond to my question and it wasn't at all helpful. Searched around the internet a bit more, found RedSquare, joined, asked my question and came back the following day to find that @meadowfield from England had provided a detailed answer followed by over a dozen welcomes and positive suggestions. I was so impressed that I began reading other posts, learning a lot while gaining respect for the caliber of people on this site. Since that time I haven't missed a day on here if I have internet availability. I had serious separation anxiety last year for the seven weeks that I was hospitalized and had no internet.

6 pointsActually I met Mike McGuire (MikesRJ) who taught me how to refurbish old ones, which started a little cottage industry for me for awhile. So, yes I did take care of my dash problem, and a long with it, a whole tractor. You can see it in my user icon.

5 pointsAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!! Winter in Maine !!!! Been there, loved that !!! My 1972 Super Beetle loved it up there. Bought it new in Elsworth for $2500...hurst shifter and the trailer package. Drove it for 11 years.

5 pointsMy turkey is soaking in a bath of brine as well. Just for a side dish, I injected a brisket & gave it a good rub down. Will be putting them both on the smoker at 0'dark thirty, our dinner is at noon.
-
5 pointsWait... was that a baby turkey? It didn't read the warning label!!??!!??

4 pointsOne of these blades is not like the other. Sometimes you see a deal and you just have to accept destiny. This unused blade popped up on my FB marketplace. Bit of a drive, but the weather was nice, and I was burning company gas!
-
4 pointsYes, I remember that Ed. A lot of water under the bridge since then.

4 points. I got EJ the 8N running yesterday and delivered to our 20 acre wood. The sun was setting when I unloaded the tractor yesterday. Today, we had a bunch of errands to run and didn't get out to the property until about 3pm. I got the grader blade off from on top of the brush hog and moved to a parking spot at the end of the drive. Had some rain last night, so there was no way I was going to take the truck into the woods. The plan was to transfer some boxes contain a camp kitchen back into the woods on top of the brush hog. Ran out of daylight, discovered that one of the hitch pins for the 3 point was missing and that the front tires need air - a light rain started, too. We will see what the weather does to orrow. We are planning to have our family Thanksgiving dinner in the woods on Saturday this year - hence the camp kitchen.

4 pointsI’ve been absent again but I’m still picking away. My repowered 12 automatic (18hp Briggs and Stratton vanguard v twin) was running like garbage so I cleaned the carb and fixed a ground kill wire leading to the front coil that I saw the mice had chewed. Took it out to do a load of firewood and it sounded off and had no power. Come to find out I had no spark on the back cylinder. I replaced both wires and then had no spark whatsoever. Confused I dug into the repair manual and surfed the internet. Turns out there are diodes in the coil ground kill wires. Reached out to a friend who has a repair shop and he had a junk engine that had the wire on it. Plugged it in and it’s back up and running on both cylinders. I decided it’s going to be my firewood/ back up plow tractor for the winter. Just need to install a plow on it if one of @WheelHorse_Kid‘s tractors or his brothers 856 fail on us but I don’t see that happening. Also got my fiancé’s little guy and my dog who I’m trying to get more comfortable in the garage out there with me.

3 pointsOur Ginkgo tree some years will just drop almost all it's leaves completely overnight. It was really beautiful this year!! Last year they dropped while still green, no pretty yellow.
-
3 pointsWith my couple large oak trees and maple trees, plus my neighbor's leaves finding their way into my yard, I am certainly glad I bought a walk behind blower this year. My WH never saw leaf duty this year! It was definitely worth the money spent.

-
3 pointsYa know we wouldn't have a problem if you kept your tractors as clean as your turkey! ... Brine recipe Kev??
-
3 pointsTried out my new HF 10 ton log splitter... Very pleased... Supposed to only handle around 8" logs... well, like fishing, deer racks, etc... 8" is a bit small for this thing... Good quality, great design, handles store inside it, steel wheels... all good. I have only occasional need for it. Campfire use only. Wouldn't want to use it if i were running a heating system...

3 pointsGiven consideration of the average sized baby and the average sized 3.5 or 5 gallon bucket 🪣 🤔 That's a MASSIVE BABY!!!
