18 pointsThis was a bad storm we had lots of ice with some snow. So The B80 8 came thru again. That plow kicks but period. With a little pressure on the handle and it digs down to the pavement. A big.

15 pointsSo my wife works as a A&P mechanic for American Airlines at ORD (Chicago O'Hare) and we love to travel....especially on her travel benefits. This years adventure was to Cambodia. We started in Phnom Penh, then went up to the Mondulkiri area to visit an elephant sanctuary, and then our final stop was Ankgor Wat. Attached are a few of many pics to highlight the trip..... I saw a lot of tractors along the way, but most of them were bigger than our WH types and most were the almighty orange Kubota's.

10 pointsSo my wonderful little honey has been chomping at the bit to use the snow plow on her horse. Chomping at the bit. Horse. See what I did there? I made a horse joke and I didn't even mean to. Well yesterday we got a little less than 2" of snow so off she goes! Took her a little bit of getting used to because the plow is in the front not on the belly like the grader blade. Like pretty much anything after just a few minutes she had it figured out.. She got up on the incoming part of the driveway which has a slight Hill to it and was pushing the snow down to the flat to me. I was then pushing it off in front of the house with the rest of what I was clearing. When the upper driveway was done she went down in the backyard and was even able to clear snow in front of and beside the shed. This past summer we had done some changing of the contour out there to enable us to use a plow and it seems to be working quite well. This all happened after dark and both of us were busy so there's no pictures yet. Next time I get home before dark I'll try to throw together a short video. Trina had an absolute blast. She told me at least three or four times how much fun it was. I may have created a monster and you all are partially to blame.

5 pointsThe family bleeds green lawn and garden tractors, however Im the black sheep and always liked the Horses. Wanted one that could handle implements as well as lawn duty and have power to spare, so I snagged a working 91 520H. I can see already that this is not going to be a 'perform maintenance and put it to work' piece of equipment, I brought it home 6 days ago and have already done the maintenance, fixed most of the wiring gremlins, fitted a polished stainless stack, torn it half apart and ordered paint and new decals. I believe this forum is going to be a huge help along the way. Heres to another addiction

4 pointsWheel Horse one of the few (if only ?) with a great full length plow frame that attaches to the rear and can do without tools
-
4 pointsMy wife wants me to show her how to use the plow ... says it looks like fun. I keep telling her it is very very complicated !Not sure how long that will work.
-
4 pointsI fixed wheels to my lift so as to be able to lift and move the tractors. Sitting in a folding chair and being able to rest rear tires on my lap to mount is really worth it. These little lifts slide under tables and take up very little floor space. Tractors shown are an electro 12 and a 1075

4 pointsFirst class is very good. That's one of the perks of her job. We fly non rev standby and pay very little for those seats. Downside is, if there aren't any available seats on the flight, then we're not getting on. It's made for some interesting travels and you have to be very flexible with your schedule. This temple with the trees was featured in the Lara Croft Tomb Raider movie from 2001. It was mostly undisturbed for 800 - 1,000 years prior to that. There are some renovations that are currently being done.

3 pointsHi all, I'm new from Pittsburgh PA and I'm going to be asking for some Toro/Wheel Horse info as I'm looking to replace my aging Cub Cadet in the spring. Maybe I'll even become a regular here!
-
3 pointsIf it can't be fixed with the above items just junk it. Can it. Toss it. Heave it. Chuck it. Or paint it green????

3 pointsI just got this I used it once very surprised at how well it did for the condition of this tractor.
-
3 pointsNothing wrong with bailing wire repair job! It has gotten me home a few times, but sooner or later I guess a slightly more permanent repair would be in order.
-
3 pointsAt what point did the bailing wire operator look at his job, stick his hands on his hips with his chest stuck out with pride and say, “Yeah, that’ll do just fine!”?
-
3 pointsYou stick around long enough, you’ll realize that Trina (she has a black belt, so I call her BBT) seems to get her hands on more work than EB when it comes to tractors... maybe any work! She’s a tough cookie.
-
3 pointsThat's pretty much what I was thinking. If you need parts, help or both send me a PM. And post LOTS of pictures. Us children likes our pictures....

2 pointsWell this afternoon “Dirtpoor” stopped by for a visit and some horse talk, turns out he lives in the same neighborhood as I do, I also had a chance to give his tractors a quick once over and he’s got a couple of nice projects. Welcome to the forum and the addiction “Dirt”. Nice to meet you! It’s good to have another W. H. guy so close.

2 points@857 horse Happy Holidays to you and yours Howard. Merry Christmas my friend.
-
2 pointsThe solid link rules...for sure. Dang that blade looks big.
-
2 pointsNo, that was not the reason I mentioned that. I do not believe the 2 are related. The pre 1963 tractors turn like a crewcab Silverado, the 1963 and later turn more like an S10.
-
2 pointsGrout is in! I waited too long on the first portion to sponge the excess away. It’s tearing up my sponge pretty good!
-
2 pointsWhen making those carb adjustments Mick make sure the motor is good and warm. Turn both screws per the manual. Turn the screw in till it starts to sputter then back out to where she sputters and then somewhere in-between. Like Norm said idle screw first. I go by feel as to where she runs the best.
-
2 pointsTwo inches she could have moved that with the grader blade. A few years back I move about 4" with my grader blade. I normally just let it melt only take a day or two here. [/uril}
-
2 pointsWe both are actually. Which is how we met 15 years ago. I just work on the corporate side of the industry now while she stayed on the commercial side.
-
2 pointsAwwwwww Life is so much more when your partner n best friend is right there with you. All this time shes watched you turn work into fun and now she gets to enjoy it right with ya. THATS what life is all about my friend. Mike

2 pointsI welcomed you in your other thread Green but need to advise you everyone here loves ! Some of the 520s I drag home are clean put to work right off. Some need a little (or a lot) of attention from neglect or just plain the PO not knowing what he was doing! You might want to consider one of Matt's pedal kits. He's in the vendors section. . Coverts the column motion control to foot.

2 pointsIt is a different color. We’ll add it in every 4 or 5 tiles. I’m going to call it an engineering change order, so I don’t have to look like I didn’t buy enough tile before they discontinued it! When I added the extra height in the wall, I think I cut myself short on tiles. I ran some figures and realized I was 2 or 3 boxes short. I worked with the manufacturer, Home Depot our own @PeacemakerJack and Mrs. P. trying to figure out what to do. This was our solution.

2 pointsMy little bear is growing up..... Today was my sons first day of school. He’s been waiting for this since he could put together sentences. Every time a school bus would go by he’d ask “Daddy, is that gunna be my bus?” He went off with no fear, only excitement.
