12 pointsFound a 420-LSE this morning. This one doesn't have the serial on the hood and the tag is faded beyond reading it. It's in pretty rough shape but I think it will clean up ok with some touch up work here and there. This one is going to my dad, I think he was pretty happy to get it. I bought it from a lady who's husband had passed away. If anyone knows of any previous pictures of this tractor anywhere let me know I'd love to find out what number it is. It appears that the flag stickers have been on the hood for a while so I'm hopeful that maybe the previous owner posted some somewhere although based on how he took care of it he may not have known what he had. Very thankful I snagged the chrome 420 PTO loop that I saw on ebay a few months back as this one will need it. Anyone have any original decals they want to sell??

10 pointsFind these two tractors 30 minutes up the road . They originally started five minutes from my house at an estate sale which I didn't know about. At any rate the motors are shot and they are old Tecumsehs anyway. Came with two decks one of them is in pretty sad shape but the other one is Repairable.Thankfully they both moved so the transmissions at least are not locked up. have some motors laying around so I'll try and get them going . All the mower deck hardware is all there! Lots and lots of love. ❤️

9 pointsI’ve been around, mostly lurking as a lot has been going on. There have been a couple of incidents with former students that have left a lot on my mind. One little girl moved away a couple of years ago. I had had her in 2nd grade. She was 12 years old this year. About 3 weeks ago she passed away. I don’t know for sure, but I heard a rumor that she committed suicide. That has left me wondering what in the world could be so bad as to drive a young person to such extremes? I don’t have an answer, but this is too quickly becoming a reality for many children. We need to work harder to help identify these struggles with our young children and make sure they get the help they need to deal with their issues. So sad to see my little friend gone so early! Another student, also 12, was just diagnosed with cancer about 6 weeks ago. She also is a very sweet, kind, caring young lady. I promised her that if she had any issues with hair loss that I would shave my head until she could regrow her hair. Well, the little thing woke up to find some of her hair on her pillow. I went straight home and peeled my head. While I know that isn’t much help, I want her to know how much I love her and support her every step of the way. If nothing else, she can laugh at my ugly bald head. Either way, please keep both families in your prayers as they deal with things children should never have to experience! I’m sure Kierra would love your support as she fights a tough battle. Here’s a pic of me and one with my friend Joe for your comic relief!

8 pointsJust picked this one up it's my first I'm pretty excited! I was going to the local apple orchard and it was in a neighbors yard I stopped in to see if he would sell it, to my surprise he did!

6 pointsUnfortunately now a days, social media can take someone places they never should go and expose them to stuff they never should see. Too many parents hand thier kids a device to pacify them instead of spending time with them. Cyber bullying is also something that without social media, wouldn’t exist. Easy to be a keyboard warrior. Kids are exposed to stuff we didn’t see when all we had were books that wouldn’t talk back but with imagination would take you to far off places that only @Achto Dan’s cobbler could get you too. And yes, it’s good to laugh. Stay strong, keep the faith. Tell them they are not alone. Keep doing what you are doing @dells68

6 pointsOK boys and girls, you have been getting a bit here are a couple pictures of tractors to remind you of the correct topic. Remember, don't get , OK

5 pointsThe thing that so many people don’t understand about teaching kids at such a young age is that you form a lot of deep and lasting friendships with children that lots of times last into adulthood. I’ve heard too many teachers say I’m your teacher, not your friend. My question is how in the world can you be a teacher without first being a true friend? Kids are very smart, they can sense when someone really cares about them.

5 pointsWORK HORSE! I sure hope to find one of those, someday, just because!!!😊❤ 👍👍

Dan @Achto took this at a recent show and our favorite....... Dan Actually did work on a horse today ...since @WVHillbilly520H wasn't gonna come finnish this for me and someone said it's winter coming on figured might as well pick up where I procrastinated last winter... mod to a deuce. 4 pointsMade another trip to the lumber yard this afternoon...and we now have a ramp. It’s not finished yet, but at least it’s usable. Sure was nice driving the 753 in the shop instead of wrestling it up into the door by hand. Also had some leftover 1x12 from the shelving we put up last weekend, so I put up another shelf for my radio to sit on so it’s off the bench and out of the way

4 pointsGoing back to the Max story. Scott Melberg, who was doing the Scott's Meet & Greet for a number of years, would have a raffle every year with the proceeds going to St. Baldricks in the name of Max. The amounts we donated may be in the threads from Scott's, but I want to say, it would be around $1000 each year we did that.

3 pointsSo this week after work I just did some wet sanding on the belt guard and hood I also figured out my hood bushings. I left the hood mount alone as far as filling in the wear point I sanded them down a little to accept a 3/8id 1/2od flange bushing and cut them down to fit the current mount I also had to open the hood mount holes up to 1/2in. As you can see I also drilled out the pin hole so the bushing stays in place and he hood wears on the bushing instead So this is where I have gotten so far Hoping to clean up the engine or tear apart the trans this weekend or next week.

2 pointsI managed to get a snow blade that had the front edge wore down to halfway through the holes that would normally be the bolt holes for the cutting edge. I'm figuring on cutting the steel of the blade a couple inches up on the blade and putting in new steel. Does anybody have a close-up picture of the bottom edge of the plow. I'm trying to get an idea of how far below the steel channel, the plow steel protrudes. I did a quick fix last year but the temp edge I put on folded back a bit under the blade.

2 pointsHey Dell, after i read your first post, it hit my Heart, because i know how it felt to loose such young life. That‘s the badest experience in a Humans life what can be happen. As more, i appreciate, that you support another Kid. Kids in such extreme situation needs a bit more attention than healty ones. Sent some Prayers to you, and all Kid’s you’re supporting or in same circumstances, you are a person with the Heart on the right Point. Great sign get blank on Head for supporting them.

2 pointsPlease share with Kierra that a few of your friends from Michigan are thinking of her and will have her in our prayers Dell. I know there is no good time of year to hear either news, but it seems like Christmas and the holiday season is so hard to hear of this! You’re a better man than most, by making her feel like she’s not alone! With Love, Kevin “Pullstart”, Taylor, Jada and Rylee

2 pointsPretty new here, as has been the case with a few... This has been a tremendous help to my husband and I. Not only is there good information on Wheel Horse here but as I’ve stated before my husband and I have met some wonderful people. I have found this place isn’t just about the red tractors but it’s about family, friendship and looking out for one another the way the world should be just a shout out to everyone that makes this place as wonderful place to come and get support in any form... Happy Belated anniversary Red Square!!!!!
