My grandparents and aunt and uncles 70th wedding anniversary to be exact. My aunt Shirley and uncle George who are both in their 90s were married on July 23 1949 and my grandparents Ralph and Millie who are in their late 80s were married a week later on July 30 1949. They were married in the same place as each other at my grandparents farm and all 4 of them spent the afternoon sitting under a canopy in the shade in the spot where they were married 70 years ago. My grandpa met my grandma when he was out in the neighboring town with my great-grandpa delivering either coal, ice, or vegetables I believe and my aunt met my uncle on a blind date after he came back from either basic training or being stationed away somewhere with the Marine Corps. I'm not too sure which as it was a little hard to hear him cause he was getting tired as it was about 3:30 in the afternoon and it was a hot muggy day. A couple months ago while planning the party my mom had contacted the local state representative about it to see if she would make an appearance. Once she knew what it was for she went a step further. Her and the Senator had resolutions drafted and put into the state Senate records recognizing the fact that all 4 of them had made it their respective 70th anniversaries. If I understood them correctly this will be a permanent record in the Massachusetts senate as long as the records exist. There were relatives that came from as far away as California and Alaska. I did manage to get a few pictures My grandparents are on the left and my aunt and uncle are on the right

So as some of the CT guys know, I don’t mind traveling for a machine. Not too long ago I saw a C-195 listed on here. Shot the owner a message within minutes of it being posted. We agreed on price and date to meet then I was on my way. Upon arrival of getting there I found out the machine was in the same family since new and they had all of the paperwork/ manuals for me when I got there. I didn’t waste any time once I got home and gave it a good bath. My next plan is to get my ARK 550 loader mounted on it. I am going to be taking the loader that was on my C-125 and installing on this. If anyone has done this before or has a loader on a C-195, I would appreciate any input.

Got the 753 (8 spd) running today. She hadn't been started in 2 years. 12 yr old battery was toast. Jumped her and she would run on carb cleaner but wasn't getting gas. Replaced fuel lines and took fuel pump apart filled with yellow crumbs. Cleaned it out and with a new battery she is ready to work...except it just started to rain...

The Super C is the C-195. the frame was longer I believe. it had a larger twin V Koehler motor. the stance allowed for a 60 inch deck. it could accept a 3 point and also had option for rear PTO.

I am going to the Pontiac Tri-Power Nationals this week. It is car show, swap meet, all Pontiac drag racing at one venue. Maybe 350 Pontiac race cars, and a swap meet if one needs to find parts. So I will get my Pontiac fix for a while! To me it is something a Pontiac person should experience at least once in their lifetime.

My day pretty much was shot today from this, that and two other things coming up, so I haven’t touched the table base oroject. Being that the day’s pretty much over, why start on it now? The fuel pump rebuild kit for the Briggs twin came this weekend, so I headed to the GT-1600 with my toes and fingers crossed with hope to get it running. Good news... it cuts in the tall field grass VERY well! I even was able to come up on some turkey and other feathered fowl. Bad news... I have little to no extra power, more smoke than I hoped for, and only one warm cylinder. I should check compression, but my guess is that a rod is broken. All in all, I still wrangled some seat time, feel like I made a good purchase but not a great one, saw some new life on my property and the grass got watered for a while! Not a terrible day, in my book. Yes @Ed Kennell @WVHillbilly520H, the path happens to pass right under my tree stand and hope to gain some more “hanging weight” in the barn this fall! “Grunt, bleat, grunt”

I dunno some clown who wanted to buy her ... had to turn it down, like a fine tractor got too much $$ invested to sell!

To answer that question it is original. it was a insulated spot for the points wire to land on for grounding and kill. I made my own kill button out of a piece of copper. You could also run a wire to a grounded switch.

Was back working on the 500 special again. Got the gas tank and straps and gas line installed. Hood and latch installed. Manual lift lever installed. Engine pulley , belt and belt guard installed. Found out that the dash decal is actually a 3 piece decal that doesn’t cover the entire dash plate , so wire wheeled the shiny red paint off it, primed it and now it’s silver. The only thing left to do is get the rear rims sand blasted, and my tires installed and then paint them white....then of course put a battery in top er up with gas and go cruising....well it is a “tecky” as you guys on here call it so probably a few cuss words later then I’ll be cruising lol lol lol ive got my shopping cart of decals for it as well waiting on line ......wife puts the decals on all my tractors. She has a talent

I've been tinkering with a couple of bugs in that 877 I bought at the Big Show. I'm pretty sure they are all taken care of, now. All that's left now is to get the wheels cleaned up and painted. I wire wheeled the weights and primed them, just not sure yet what color to paint them.

Bought an engine for the raider10, which was my main working tractor. Now running the c141 with a 12 horse, but the Raider10 has a better deck for the ditches. Pumped about the engine. It's a starter/generator set up. I love this modified harbor freight high position motorcycle lift. Add the wheels and perfect for jobs that require a strong back. Rated for 1100, but I keep it at 750. Lifts to 30 inches and lifts quickly compared to most others. I have had a Gold Wing on it for a rebuild, so don't put down Hft

This is a nice venue owned by a friend of mine. They also own a catering business and will have food for sale throughout the day. Come with tractors and parts to show and sell. Will be a great time

The subject of Ingersoll tractors case up, so I thought I would get any Colt, Case, Ingersoll owners on here to shown there tractors. I've had this 1965 Case 180 in the back of the barn for about 3 years looking for a few parts. here I had it out (non-running) on July 4th the first year I had it. It runns with a very tired Kohler k301. It runs about 30 minutes before the spark plug fouls. I pulle dthe head, and the bore is .011ths over. Really amazing it will still run! 2 weeks ago I got a 1965 Case 130. It was sitting right under my nose at a family friends farm. As you can see someone gave it a JD green paint job. Thankfully most of it came off with the pressure washer. The 130 and 180 are both 1965, 1 year only tractors. While I sort of hate to, I plan to pull a few parts off the 130 to make my 180 complete. my current thought is to wet sand and clear coat the 180 keeping it original looking. Then I'll keep looking for parts to make the 130 complete (anyone have a parts tractor?). Unfortunately the 130 is missing the hood. Due to the heavier rust pitting on the 130 from being in an open sided barn with a lot of cow manure, I'm thinking i may blast and restore it to factory new paint. Kind of cool, the 130 has the tool box that is hard to find. My 180 is missing this Case Eagle Mascot emblem known as "Ol Abe" I also got a mower deck with the 130

and the Khler engine site is having issues again says it doesn't recognize my zip code so I cant look there There are only 2 gaskets one is for the small base block as used on the isolation mounts. Since the 310 is frame mounted the gasket would be 235057 large block.

You don't use a tractor to mow so you don't need the the longer wheel base. The black hoods and later 300, 400, and 500 had a rear bar supporting the foot boards that will only allow 25 or 26"" tires. So the older C's frames will be better but the foot boards will need to be moved forward to clear the tires. On the front spindles of my C-120/180 I used 5 lug 3500 # trailer spindles.

Picked up an 854 last week. This machine has hydro lift. Runs perfect. I think I am just gonna paint the wheels and call it a day. Are the wheels white of the almond color? Thanks for looking.

I painted a bunch lAst summer Rust-Oleum linen white is close to most of the wheels, but a couple of sets matched their almond color. The inside of the wheels is where I looked for the factory colors So I think paint them how it suits you Take a rear axle off an MTD or something and set it on end. Then paint the wheels by spinning it. Great results almost a guarantee. I just left the tires on mine and set the wheels on top 🤗 🤣

Thought I added two pictures but guess not. Was built on a Wheel Horse frame One eight horse Briggs and four five horse engines. The combinations were set at slightly different forms to work in sync. Also told me he worked and made the WH frames.

Very nice looking tractor! I’m digging that single/dual plow setup with the rear tires! How in the world did you get @WHX24 to turn loose of that one? We all know what a tight wad he is!

Rescued from the scrap pile at one of the landfill sites we frequently visit. I originally posted under the trading post thread but may have overstayed my time on that thread. Pull start is gibbled but the engine does turn over, solid rubber tires, rear steer, from mower has three blades, as a mower I'm not all that impressed but will just the same restore the little beast. Made by Yardman during the 1960's rebranded Tecomaster for Eatons.
