15 pointsMrs. Pullstart did the most picture taking, while I kept tractors running. @Wild Bill in VA thank you for trying to help before the parade! Jada’s “Barney Fife” 857 seemed to have lost it’s points. I could file them and that k181t would just purr for a good two minutes then it died again. Rylee’s battery died twice, Hot Wheels lost a fuse, Frank quit running in the Cruise night, his stack about fell off.... and all the tractors to tear apart! I pretty much lost my first 953 to my girls, especially Rylee. I heard fun stories, made new friends, saw old ones too! The pictures are quite random, including the smoked brakes, the trip to @roadapples‘ house, Rylee walking on her hands, and whatnot around the fair grounds... Now... for the ground to just dry out so I can in-stuck Norman and unload....

10 pointsWe finally made it home! Husband and I couldn’t wait to put a battery in our new horse and check it out! And introduce it to the family! LOL! It was a long drive but worth it! Family and I are glad to finally be home! But really enjoyed seeing new places like Lake Erie, Niagara Falls, and other cool places! And a few problems along the way but nothing that couldn’t be handled! But the best part was to meet other cool friendly horse lovers!

10 pointsBeware, there are a ton of photos coming up here..... We had a photo shoot with Frank before the show! I was so excited to take it into the field with the other tractors, Putt Putt had to be dragged along. There aught to be a good picture in here somewhere....

8 pointsUpdate on Scottie: On June 5, 2019 Scottie went in and had his hardware removed from his right elbow. He had 11 titanium and stainless steel bolts and screws along with two titanium plates. He was sent home with a soft cast and told to use it as normally as he can only lifting less than 2 lbs. Well Scottie in true Scott fashion he tries to do more than he should and that is completely okay with Lowell and I as we want him to be as normal as possible. On June 13, 2019 Scottie and I headed back to Rochester to have his MRI completed for the doctors. The reason why the doctors ordered the MRI is so they know how they want to proceed with the reconstructive surgery for Scott. His MRI took about 90 minutes and then we headed to the doctors appointment to have out consult. This is what we found out...Scott's reconstructive surgery will last about 10 hours and he will be hospitalized for a few days or longer. The surgical team will have to make a total of five small incisions four on his abdominal area and one under his scrotum. We will have two different surgeons in on the procedure and each has a fundamental role they play in his surgery. One of the surgeons is the pediatric surgeon who has been changing out Scottie's catheters and the other surgeon is the adult urologist who has been on our case since day 1. Scottie will have to undergo the reconnection of his urethra to his bladder. What does that truly mean for Scottie? Well he will have two catheters in place again, one in his penis and the other is the supra-pubic catheter. He will have both of them in for six to eight weeks and then they plan on removing the penis catheter and see if the surgery works, if not then we have to undergo another surgery to place in a stent. If the surgery takes place and his urethra does not collapse, then we will wait another six to eight weeks and take out the supra-pubic catheter. Keep in mind that Scott does not have a valve to open or close his urethra so he will have no control over peeing. We have to wait until December to place in an artificial valve in his urethra that will allow him more control of his urine, we will also be hospitalized for this procedure as well. Please keep in mind that the doctors and surgeons do have a plan B but we are hopeful for Plan A to work. On June 14, 2019 Scottie and I headed back to Rochester where he had another catheter change. He was in and out of the hospital in less that 2 hours. That is Scott's new record. This is when I found out from the surgeons that they have some concerns and that the medical team is busy trying to figure them out as they want Scott to be as normal as possible. Some of the concerns are...being able to pee like a normal guy, to not leak, not wearing depends, being able to have an erection, having control over his bowels, being able to tell the difference between peeing and having a bowel movement, being able to have an ejaculation, being able to have children, making sure the nerves and neurons are all connected and working properly, and most importantly making sure that Scott will be as normal as he was on December 11, 2018. On Monday June 17, 2019 we loaded up and headed out to the Big Show in PA to see our friends. The trip was not all that bad for Scottie as he got to sleep most of the trip out there. He was hooked up to his catheter bag while he was in the vehicle and once we stopped Scottie was capped and he got to be as normal as he could be. We stayed at hotels along the way and was able to allow him to be as comfortable as possible. Once we arrived at the Big Show, we were able to set up and have Scottie as comfortable as possible. He was able to rest in out trailer and come out when he wanted to. Though he was not out at our booth much, the few people who seen him, made his day. I want to say how much it means to see all of the love and support we have at the Big Show for our son Scottie. His road to recovery has been long and difficult but we will be by his side every step of the way. Seeing all of the Team Scott t-shirts and all of the Wheel Horse Parts and More apparel in the Big Show picture, makes my heart melt, just knowing how much you do care and love our son, Scottie. I also want to say thank you to everyone who supported our benefit for Scottie by pre-ordering sweatshirts, blankets, t-shirts, and hats. Without your love and support this road would be very difficult. The reconstructive Surgery is set for July 16, 2019 and we will be hospitalized for a few days. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers. God Bless you and your family!

7 pointsThis shot was taken while loading for the show on Monday. We left Tuesday morning. We had to bring our dog this year and she knew something was going on. 7 pointsAnother fantastic time! Great to see everyone. As usual my only regret is not having enough time to talk to more people. You will see in the following photos that I am not the only one who likes to smoke cigars....

7 pointsLove the one with your family and Dell's. You are two "all in" wheel horse families! All great people.

6 pointsHere are a few of the custom Wheel Horses I found at the Big Show on Friday. If y'all know me, I love the custom rides... have a few myself, lol. And finally, a couple of selfies of myself and one of me with Howard Della Puca. It was great to see Howard at the Big Show this year. Howard suffered a major heart attack recently and is doing very well. Thank you to everyone who brought their awesome Wheel Horse tractors to the show this year. And a special thank you to the Wheel Horse Collectors Club for organizing what I consider to be without a doubt THE best tractor show that I've ever been to. I hope to be back for many more years to come.

4 pointsI’m exactly the same way Jay! I could spend a day or better just searching the swap area. That doesn’t leave much time for checking out the rest of the show🙁. I’m already looking forward to next year!

4 pointsOnly model of the earliest “renewable energy” prototype ever made - the GBL 2.5. Did not make it to production... Runs on gerbils in a spinning cage... Problem was the Ponds could not tell the boy and girl gerbils apart and so, like their other tractors in general, the gerbils bred and well...thus the 2.5 designation... As far as the caption: Quick... The Judge is here... Feed the Gerbils again...!!! What! You forgot the gerbil food???!!!

4 pointsIn my opinion @Lane Ranger did a great job, but there are threads on some Cub sites because they used Ross for a much longer time.

4 pointsLots of familiar faces in the group pic... looks like nice support for young Scottie as well!

4 pointsI've got a 72 qt marine igloo and the BIL has a 72 qt yeti. Down here a weekend at the beach with the coolers in the boats and the daytime temps over 90 degrees the yeti keep the stuff colder longer. Now the igloo coast a little over $100.00 and the Yeti coast $450.00, does the Yeti keep the stuff colder four times longer, not by a long shot. There's are a few company's making coolers as good a Yeti, but cost less, you pay for the Yeti name. Side note a while back my nephew came by to show me his new to him boat, he said the first thing he bought for it was a Yeti. I said that an expensive cooler, he said but unk it will keep a 12 pac cold for 3 days. I told him if he still has a 12 pac after 3 day, you not doing it right .

4 pointsHopefully this works, post 219 in my “shop project” thread starts the build of the deck. Three 3/8-16 bolts hold each ramp in place. They are heavy buggers, I’m glad I don’t have to do that every day!

4 pointsOne thing that I've noticed from the plethora of pictures everyone has been posting.. I haven't seen a single picture where anyone looked like they were having anything but a fantastic time. Excellent pictures, and that wooden RJ-58 is extremely cool!
-
4 pointsI haven't unloaded my stuff yet but got a seat, 417-A and a couple Kohlers from @Ed Kennell, a differential from @kthack657, a hydraulic pump from @dells68. tires from @RJ Hamner, a parts tractor from @Buzz. a nice sign from @Vinylguy, some parts from @rmaynard, an exhaust heat shield from @VinsRJ and a nice 120 volt generator from @WHX24 which @stevasaurus transported for him. The best thing I brought home was a lot of great memories of time spent with so many of you.

3 pointsMy second set of LED headlights on my Wheel Horse 312 Toro Model! Left headlight in photo is LED and the other is a GE conventional pulb.

3 pointsI've always liked the looks of the 953 and 1054 so at this years Show I picked up a nice 953 from Dell. He was upfront with it's issues, choke and throttle cables, and of course its steering. Cables no problem to fix but steering is loose and difficult to turn. Any one have any info on these tractors or suggestions on correcting the steering problem? Any and all help is appreciated. Thanks.

3 pointsA week ago last Friday, I was experiencing heart palpitations, and dizziness. Went through my check list - blood sugar OK, not dehydrated, hungry, but food did not help. My wife and I went to the local ER. I was hooked up to the EKG and monitored for a while. I got a dose of beta blocker, and was monitored some more. They sent me home with a new prescription for beta blockers with instructions to 'get thee to a cardiologist'. The cardiologist lined me up for a stress test and a 30 day heart monitor. The stress test indicated a heart cath to gain more data. (At this point, those of you who have heart caths will understand my title!) The heart cath revealed (among other things) that I had some blocked arteries. This sent me to a larger hospital for another heart cath to determine if I would need a stent or not. Turns out that I didn't. A change to my medication stack seems to be working, pending results of the 30 day heart monitor. Had an appointment with my primary doctor today. I started asking dumb questions and learned a lot about my condition. Understanding what is going on urges me to make the necessary life style changes. She also told me that we caught the blocked arteries early enough that control should be possible with medications instead of invasive procedures. We also discussed how the heart monitor worked and that the more important data it collects is up to me to make manual entries when/if I feel 'funny' - something that was not made clear by the cardiology staff. I go see the cardiologist Thursday, and I'm planning on asking many of the same 'dumb' questions to get the specialist's opinion. The moral of the story: If you think something is wrong, GO GET IT CHECKED OUT!!! If you don't understand, KEEP ASKING QUESTIONS UNTIL YOU DO!!! Yup, I'm turning into an old codger who is passing advice down like it or not.

3 pointsWell the family really had a great time! My husband really wasn’t wanting to go this year but after we finally arrived he meet a few of the guys! Wes, @dells68 ,Paul, Howard, Eric J. and even got to meet pullstart! I missed out on meeting pullstart but hope to see next year! Husband was dreading having to drive another five hours further to get the new family Horse! We made it with out trouble and picked it up, it’s a beautiful horse so we may have to go get it fixed so it doesn’t breed more horses! It’s bigger then the little suburbans!! Going to enjoy Nagra falls and then make our journey back home just want to thank everybody that puts on the show and all that great people we got to meet! Lane I didn’t forget you thanks for the hug!!!!!

3 pointsI reamed out the gt14 front axle (same thing) spindle holes to 1” and installed bronze sleeves. Reamed them back out to 7/8”. I installed thrust bearings and washers between the axle and spindle then reinstalled the spindles. I also installed 3/4” lipped bearings in the upper and lower tube. You would only need the upper bearing as Randy said.

3 pointsAgain Thanks for this nice capturing of Moments. It felt, that i be there. Great job! 👍

3 pointsThe Wheel Horse Show parade is a "must have" event each year. It give a chance for the Wheel Horse owner to show their tractor off. To me it does not matter if the Wheel Horse is a museum quality restoration or tractor some young kid built with 3 different tires on it and a muffler off a mini bike ...... if the person is proud enough of their Wheel Horse to put it in the parade then I will talk to them about it. These were all great pictures of the Wheel Horse Show ! Wild Bill in Richmond, VA

3 pointsLinda, You have done a great job capturing all the fun and interesting moments of the 21st Annual Wheel Horse Show ! When I first spotted you at the show my only thought was to get Linda to take pictures . Fridays parade was long as it took 4 and a half bottles of water for me to complete and you held up very well. Both you and I were not quite sure what Craig was doing when he took this picture, since I thought he was trying to get a photo of our knee caps. But now we can see the result as he got "Wheel Horse" that was on the round hood included in the picture ! That's ingenuity Craig ! Thank You Again Wild Bill in Richmond, VA
