My Jeep (or as I should say Heep) has been problematic since mile #17 to 10,000. Decided to trade it in on a '18 F-150 3.3L 4wd. The black '77 is running strong with its Blueprint crate engine and 4 speed top loader. It hauls horses like nothings behind it! We will have to see how the new one does!

Found this Charger looking for a deck for a buddy. Didn’t find him a deck, but I think this will justify me selling him one!

Good friend cut the grooves into the axles, actually had to grind them. So today i had some time to put the differential together. Next up visit @wheelhorseman and get some new bearings.

It's been through a few different owners since then and I know some have fooled around with different things on it. Think it's been slowed down some since we were play'n around with it Russ. I never used a GPS to clock the speed but one time I was going a lot faster than I ever should've been

Picked this 40 mid mount up today! Found it listed on Craigslist pretty close by and it was listed for 1/3 of the normal asking price. So i jumped on it.

Fellows, I was looking through a muffler thread for GT-14s and I saw both of you had sweet loaders on yours. 953nut, I especially like the frontend attachment. Did you build those yourselves or are they original WH attachments? Can you post some pictures, including how they attach to the frame? A loader build is on my list, but I have been trying to understand how they should be attached for best support.

Getting the 1st two of eight total ready to go to the show in New London, Oh. This weekend. the 857 and the 1054 still need some minor cleaning but they’re ready to load. Show is 7-27-18 to 7-29-18. Hope to see you there!!

So they weren’t snapped off 5 footers when you got home?

Those look great. Keeping this in mind just in case I need to follow suit.

Eric, I looked at your picture and have to admit I had no idea... I googled “Meyer Plier”, and cane up with lots of images. I believe your pliers are missing some parts. Those pliers used to work as a C clamp, but you are missing the male threads and the female threaded sleeve. What I don’t know is whether they had a specific use, or if the just doubled as a pair of vise grips and a C clamp...Google the name and see what you think? https://www.kimballmidwest.com/All-Products/Tools/Pliers/84117

Just got my sticker set from Terry the vinyl guy. Kudos my brother! I couldn't be happier. Just put the dash partly together and it looks SUPER! I'm still waiting on the starter generator light from Joe's outdoor and then it will be complete .

Looks like a nice haul! Kevin I see a trailer behind your truck. Had you brought it to the Big Show you could have brought at least six more home.

I'm okay with that. You can park a wheel horse on dirt. Wait. Aren't you in the middle of building a brand new bathroom??

If it leaks then it probably needs split and inspected. It got water in it because it needs a shifter boot. The one on it is probably cracked or missing. The transmissions aren't terribly difficult. I'll attach a rebuild thread below. Here is a good source for rebuild kits. https://www.wheelhorsepartsandmore.com/transmissions.html#!/Base-Kit-1/p/85721183/category=23548039

Spark plug gap .025". If the unit has been idle for a period of time clean the points. They will oxidize just enough to prevent the contacts from making electrical contact. A handy operator manual Garry

If anything, it’ll be dirt floor, for things that poop.

What he said above. But the reason I repeat it is to bring to your attention it isn't only for lubrication reasons but for airflow and cooling reasons.

I don't see anything wrong with your transmission, except that chipped tooth. Weld it up and grind or file it. The parts in your 1960's trans could be used in your RJ trans... Here is the deal...if you want to change the bull gear/differential housing, you probably have the newer model...which means that you will have to change the mushroom gear also. They are pairs. Also, The service bulletin says that if you use a mushroom gear from a trans that has the needle bearing on the brake shaft, you need to put four #1197 shims under the mushroom gear on the left side of the trans. The other gears in the 60's trans are also interchangeable in your RJ trans. The service bulletin also talks about the number of teeth on the inside of the 2 fork gears and the pinion that goes on the end of the spline shaft. Early ones have 10 teeth...later models have 11 teeth. If both have the same number of teeth, any of it is changeable with it's counter part. If you have one set with 10 teeth and the other has 11, you can change it, but you need to change the whole set (spline shaft, both fork gears and that pinion. Know this...if your RJ trans has gears with 10 teeth, then that horse is Serial Number 11627 or less in 1958. It would follow that, if your trans has 11 teeth it is Serial Number 11628 or later in 1958. As far as a noisy trans, I would add a pint of Lucas Oil additive with the 90 wt when you put it back together.

I love my subaru... I drive so far to work I had to sell my truck. I sure do miss it, but a Subaru will likely be the only vehicle besides a truck that I will own!

I used the one i had alot. But I wanted another one since i got rid of the last one. For use at our campsite. Cause its all stone and dirt. But it all can be leveled off very nicely with one of these blades. And it's another reason to play with the tractors of course!

Here’s my 753 with my 8” plow. Still need to wear the paint of the blade and wax it up and mount the coulter, but it’s a start.
