11 pointsHeaded out at 4:00 AM today. Got up to North Point Marina and on the water around 5:30. This is out in 90 feet of water...about 5 miles out. Ray is setting up the lines. Sane place, but you can see the Nuclear Plant at Wakeagan in the back ground. It was pretty constant all day...we got off the water around 10:00 AM...it was getting real hot and traffic was not going to be fun on the way home. We put 8 fish in the boat and lost 5 for the day. I have never seen them fight like they did today...it was great. 7 cohos and one king. The King in this picture is 8 lbs. I snapped this shot when we had 6 in the boat. Most were about 4 lbs. What a great day. Should be some Salmon on the grill tomorrow.

9 points@PeacemakerJack Kinda bummed that I didn't make it for the parade . Looks like there was a great turn out It was good to get out on the water this morning. Fished from about 5:30 till 10:00. We caught a few legal size bass but nothing huge. Every thing we caught was put back in the water to catch again another day. This 16" bass was the largest one that I caught today.

9 pointsGotta get me a new flag pole.Mine's a little warped. Come to think of it a new flag also. Getting faded. It's out everyday 24/7/365 unless I know foul weather is coming

8 pointsMy cosmetically challenged 418-C runs great and is a great worker, but it needed some help in the looks department. I pulled the sheet metal and did a quick paint job and added a set of @Vinylguy patriotic decals, love it. Found some RED skateboard grip strip for the running boards.

8 pointsZach and Judge rode in the freshly painted trailer with the awesome colors flying high courtesy of Uncle Sam and @AMC RULES! “Hey you! The ugly one in the bottom right corner of the screen—quit photo bombing!” Mom took this photo of us in the middle of the parade! It was soooo hot that the kids were very lethargic lining the street. They were trying to decide if they even wanted to grab a piece of candy that we threw to them! After the parade, took the tractors Home and tucked them into bed. Then got out the Goat and was thankful for the king sized trunk! The kids are always stoked to ride in the “GTOh my goodness” whenever they can no matter how hot. Been driving this road all my life heading to the 4th party at my uncle kens! This one is for @roadapples Now it is time to quit posting for awhile and eat!!!!

7 pointsDowntown Omro riding on a Case 930 picking up pizza! Eating pizza in the staging area—our annual tradition! Note Cousin Paul in the green (this is his first 4th home in better than a decade—he was stationed across the world with the US Navy most years). It is an honor to call him my cousin and a blessing from God to have him home safely with us to celebrate Independence Day! Zach loving the pizza and the freshly painted trailer! I mean no offense to my many buddies all across the country but unfortunately there are very few parades left that have tractors like here in the Midwest. Choose your favorite color of AG tractor and it is probably here! The corvette club is getting ready to line up... More to come...

6 pointsUp early this morning to finish getting ready for the parade! First job—paint the yard cart for the Little’s to ride in. Next top off all fluids and mount the cultivator to Comanche. Check to make sure that the yard cart is drying good! Drive to the Uncles and drop off the VBall net and take a quick pic of all the Big Case mochines lined up. ...to be continued...

6 pointsOur local town consists of about 3500 people but they host a HUGE 4th parade. It often draws around 10-15,000 spectators from the surrounding area. My family has had Case antique Agricultural tractors in the parade for more than two decades. I’ve driven one of them for the last 15 years until last year when I decided to drive dad’s 875. I actually enjoyed that even more driving the large tractors and so Caleb and I will take Comanche and Vader tomorrow. I was hoping Dan would bring out the Rat Rod to steal the show but alas, fishing is important when you can get a chance to do it. Claudia and I just got back from picking up around 6 lbs of candy to pass out to the kids along the parade route. After the parade, I’ll take the tractors home, get changed and grab the GTO and head to my uncles for a big family get together for food, fellowship, volleyball, fireworks, and more food. Then time to get ready for work...

6 pointsGonna set it up to plow, gonna put an 8 pinion differential in it with the old plow tractor motor 12hp. Hope to have it ready by fall.

6 pointsIf it was my problem l would plant a wild flower hay meadow and get my friendly local farmer to make hay twice a season. My wheel house would cut a nice walkway around the outside, and I’d enjoy the bees and butterflies.

5 pointsWe bought this trailer a couple years ago knowing it needed a little help. As you can see there is a layer of very badly swollen and rotted 1in thick OSB on top of the original 2 by 8 pressure-treated boards which are also rotted. There used to be three-foot-tall OSB sides as well. We are going to replace the decking and leave the sides open. Today Trina and her mom ripped all the wood off. It's only in the low 90's in the shade.

5 pointsI was able to get my 520 to start correctly (using the key switch). Then I repaired the seat tracks so that the seat does not wobble any more.

5 pointsThey girls all got out to the driveway in the sun for their annual flag waving event

5 pointsAlmost too hot to work in the garage. Mid 90’s. But like @Sparky, I managed a few hours with the granddaughters working at repairing the hack job frame repair some prior owner did to the 551 I picked up at the show. Managed to get the welds removed. Will work in an appropriate repair while we wait on axle seals to arrive.

5 pointsWoke up kinda motivated....so out came the 8 speed in my C-165 that was leaking from everywhere! It’s was a hot one in the garage, about 94 degrees, but in went a nice dry tight 8 speed. Took it for a spin around the yard and all seems good

4 pointsWe set the lines up at 90' and kept trolling out and circling back when one hit. We ended up in 170' of water...about 8 or 9 miles out from shore. The kicker is a 10 hsp 4 stroke Honda. Gives us great mileage out there all day. Trolling speed is usually about 1 1/2 mph...we watch the dodger in the water to determine the speed that the dodger works the best. Steve, we were fishing at different depths, but all of the coho hit around 30' down. While we had some different baits on, the cohos were all caught on rainbow flies with red dodgers. The king hit this old bait I have that we trolled well behind a yellow bird on the surface. I still feel like I am out there. Here is that old bait...it has caught a lot of big fish.

4 pointsThats a wee bit better. Sun glare off the custom decaled hood cant be helped till later today. Need to get Redo you Horse to make me new graphics for that side of the hood since the intake cut out changed things, and a custom dash decal to reflect the change to diesel power(preheater controls and indicator lamp). Thanks for the crop, looks better! Mike the Aspie

4 pointsThanks everyone for the kind words and the prayers. There is a lot of power in the prayers of God's people. My wife was an amazing lady as evidenced by what people have voiced in the past couple of days. I know there will be adjustments for me now. I have a couple of amazing kids who are looking out for dad.

3 pointsWorking in the garage fixing the issues on my 654. Friday afternoon at the big show, the steering fan gear broke where it was pinned to the shaft. Installing the replacement steering shaft today. The replacement pinned gear/shaft was tight, but I had my friend weld the gear to the shaft with nickel rod like the 65 and up shafts. Also patching the fuel tank that had a hold punched in it from a weld that was not ground off at the factory, and a small section of seam that was not soldered very well and was seeping fuel.

3 points@Cvans I don't think it was missing as much of it's cover until yesterday. That fish hit when we were fighting 2 other fish (just us 2 in the boat). We had a triple going and all hell broke loose. We actually set the hook and put the pole back in the rod holder while we fought the other fish. We would get one in and then grab that rod and fight until the other one was landed. We both had the ploe in our hands at one time or another. I ended up with it. I'll bet we fought that fish for over 20 minutes. It was crazy how they were fighting yesterday. I brought the lure into the house, because I need to change the leader on it...it has a few kinks in the line. That is when I noticed the shape it was in. I'm thinking it may have enough fish oil in it to keep it from getting water logged. I am torn between trying to fix it and not touching it at all...if you know what I mean. This lure has done very well on Lake Michigan for almost 40 years. The Steelhead love this lure also. Any ideas...what do you think??

3 pointsNice pictures, Steve. That must be PRETTY DEEP WATER for an ex-Navy sailor.

3 pointsI don't know what kind of failures you are having with the points. If you are getting a lump on on side and a divot on the other, replace the condenser. If they have about the same wear on both sides, keep that condenser, a new one might not be as good.
