So about 3 weeks or so ago I purchased a whole bunch of parts tractors and miscellaneous wheel horse parts. Well after I got that stuff home. The people I bought stuff from called me about this b80. They said they found it in the barn and suspect it's been there since the early 80s when there grandfather's dealership closed. So I went over to check it out and they offered me to take it for free if I would fix there garden tractor in return. So I did and intended to just sell it. Well a guy called and came to supposedly purchase it. Well I think he kicked more tires then I was aware I had so to speak. So I ended up getting it running good and used it a couple times. Well I ended up loving the power with the 8 speed. So I went through it mechanically and changed up a few things. Now it's officially a member of my collection. Just got to add lights and give it a good wax job. I scrubbed it down good and power washed and it cleaned up nice. First 3 pics are before and the rest are what it is now. I'll post more pics when I get the rest done.

This is probably silly but I was made very happy today. The new shed that I had planned on getting since January was finally installed, six weeks after ordering it. It almost didn't happen though due to the HOA that I now have to live under! They were upset with my submittal to them as it didn't have enough information. Also, even though the city was fine with partially encroaching on an underground drainage easement, the HOA wanted it out of the easement completely. The pad was done the other day before approval which also irritated them. Luckily common sense prevailed. Th trailer by Pine Hill is really neat as it can move sideways with the lateral set of tires underneath. It is a 10' x 16' shed with an 8' workbench and 4' loft at one end. I had to match the house color and, of course, architectural shingles. Now to landscape around it and load everything in to it! Especially the new-to-me 314-8. About two hours later the sky opened up with a quick thunderstorm to baptize it. There is an 18" culvert that dumps right there.Even though it looks close, the bottom is about a foot higher and six feet away from the water.

Don’t get left out! One of my favorite aspects of the Wheel Horse Collectors Club “Big Show” is the gathering of so many Red Square members. This year’s Red Square “Big Show” group photo will be taken on Friday, June 22 at 11:30am. The location is near the concession stand on the entrance drive (same as previous years). Craig, AMC-RULES and I will be coordinating the picture this year. Craig will do his magic with the camera and I will need your help putting names with faces.

Super happy for you! It looks great! They could. Yes. With the appropriate diameter string. Appropriate tensile strength string. Appropriate number of braids in said string. Appropriate length string. Appropriate color string. The size and shape of the kite would have to conform to the local area buildings. The material of the kite would have to be hurricane proof and tornado proof and earthquake-proof and lightning proof. And also, obviously! The color of the kite would have to closely match any and all other structures in the area. And, you would have to be very careful about watching out for trees because you would not want that high-strength string and perfect kite to mess up a branch or two. You know what? Let's just never mind. I don't think an HOA could actually go fly a kite.

It's official! All 50 spots are locked in. There are 49 counting me. Card 50 is a checklist card so everyone will get 49 of their cards and 1 of mine plus a checklist card so you can easily keep track of who you need to track down. I will have the first complete set of the 2018 Big Show limited edition Red Square Support member trading cards. Looks like we'll have a swap meet within a swap meet.

@953 nut, just to make a suggestion. With our large group, it's hard to get everyone in the pic. There is a ramp entrance to the building where all the "Museum" tractors are lined up. Perhaps we could use that ramp as a riser to elevate some of the members so they show up good in the pic

From Northern Va, around DC and into Maryland, you can find yourself getting into an HOV lane without knowing it. Some of them are next to impossible to get out of if you are not intimately familiar with the area. Right around Tysons Corner Va is the worst. When I go from my home in Maryland to the Outer Banks of North Carolina and back again, there is really no way to avoid that route. So, if I were coming from the south and headed to central PA, I think that I would use the 64/81 route as well. It's only listed as about 15 minutes slower, but in reality, it may save you a couple of hours.

Use Napa 1410 not a regular oil filter. The hydro filter is different then a regular oil filter.

Did you make sure you set the float to 11/64" and the drop at 1-1/32" ?? It sounds obvious you are getting excessive fuel it has to get into the engine via the carb so something is amiss there. Also make sure the splash gasket isn't fouling the float....

lol I can relate to this so much!! When I first went to the Big Show I only had 3 horses to take along and I thought, "I need at least a full trailer when I go down there". Now I have more than my trailer can hold and I have to make hard decisions as to which ones to take and which ones to leave at home.

There are 2 ways to go to avoid the RT #30 mountains. Take 80 to Youngstown catch 76. Take all the way to PA RT 997 follow south to Roxbury and all the way to Scotland and Interstate 81. Nice ride, tunnels on the interstate...ends up being about the same time as going RT #30 over the hills. The other way...80 to 76 and catch Rt #70 south into Maryland...take to RT#81 just before Hagerstown and head north. Both ways are very nice and Highway 997 is very good road through the Penn countryside.

I was advised to avoid DC at all costs and I wanted to minimize driving time in Maryland so I took 95 to 26 towards Columbia, then 77 to 81 into Chambersburg. There was very little time and distance difference and the scenery was great.

Nice shed sailor! HOA's and Zoning can be a real problem. I tried to put up a 24x40 pole building only to find out they changed my zoning from agricultural to residential II, Zoning board said "no dice"! 12x20 is as big as you can go......if approved. I lived here 34 years, not much changed. I was so mad I didn't do anything, bought some bigger tarps! they will probably complain the tarps are the wrong color. These are the same people that think meat comes from a super market!

That is a nice shed , wish I had another one , but the city would add additional storm water fees ( taxes ) to my water bill. As for HOA can't say what I want since this is a family site. Once lived where the rules read that if your garage door opened at the front of your house , you could not leave it open even if you were doing yard work and needed tools or to cut your grass. You can guess my verbal reply to HOA president.

Easy way Rule of Thumb, Number represents 1" divided by gauge. ie. 16 gauge = 1/16". Those cabinet doors look like prime material to me, heavy gauge, galvanized or painted, great source. and probably priced right too.
