We'll be bringing Emory's Roadrunner. Not sure if I'll bring anymore, except a couple I plan to list in the buy sell thread if they sell because I'm picking up a D160 from @stratostar250. Probably a good thing since im already tractor poor!

Good idea! I will be picking up this nice second generation 953 from @Mike'sHorseBarn at the show. Don't know if I will bring any others, an empty truck bed and trailer coming to the show opens up all sorts of possibilities!

No more air cleaner wingnut. One less thing to lose. I still have to cut the stud off down the air cleaner adapter and adjust it to a final “snap”. Then red loctite. 👍

I just got a new to me truck yesterday. I traded my 2004 Silverado on a 2014 Toyota Tundra and the payments are only $100 more including a 48 month bumper to bumper warranty! It was serviced regularly at the Toyota dealership and all recommended service was done since new. I am the second owner.

Not sure if I'm bringing anything but most likely Skonk the 1467 Special. Got rained out driving it in the cruise last year so It will probably return for another try. Just need to get the powder coated wheels on it but I'm using it for yard clean up if the weather breaks May bring the 701 too we'll see

Okay thanks. I’m thinking about buying myself a early bday present. A red square member ship might be in order.

All my tools get tossed on the bench at the end of the day. Can’t hardly walk in my shed so......too hard to put anything away that I am just going to need when I work on it again. Problem is the pile never gets smaller.

Those plastic parts are the victim of UV exposure and weather - use Aerospace 303 on them, they will look and stay new longer than you want to own the vehicle. My '08 Tacoma TRD OffRoad had badly faded trim/mirrors/rubber - Aerospace 303 fixed it all and kept it that way. I treat the parts in the spring and again in the fall - otherwise just normal washing. Same with interior parts that fade/crack/peel/chalk - this stuff works as the bottle says it will - rare these days. Tempted to take a bath in the stuff, maybe it will help with my sudden aging...lol. Just fyi - it's not cheap @ around $20 bottle, but it doesn't take much to do the job. Doesn't run, doesn't leave a sticky residue that attracts dust, nor leaves a super slick coating as other products. Just a nice, matte shine as when those parts were new, not kidding. Sarge

The HF stuff does work good. Even the Snap ON and Mac Tools stuff curled and slid around. Jim get one of these to help find your tool box!

Toyota! Toyota! Toyota! Nothing like not having to fix the truck or worry about it breaking. Bought my 06 4 years ago at 152,000. Got it from a small shop that only works on Tojo's and Honda's. Shop owner was using it to haul his boat. Gave me a good deal on it . He told me the 4.7 was good for 3-400,000 miles as long as the timing belt was changed on schedule and the oil every 5000. They haven't steered me wrong yet. I've gotten the itch to replace it this fall. Truck still looks the same as when I bought it. it's going into the shop next month to get torn down before my big show trip. They will tell me it needs nothing. In 4 yrs. and 48,000 miles it has had: A/c condenser (They warranteed that) Tires Front sway bar link Muffler and tail pipe 4 shocks. (They were ok but I figured at 185,000 what the heck!) I had them put on TRD Billstiens

To start off, I’m not sure if it should be posted here or in the tools section so mods please move it if it does need to get moved. The purpose of this thread is to show off your tool box and your tools. So here’s my box. I’m rocking mostly craftsman and Walmart brand currently but would like to all craftsman. So show of your boxes and toools guys.

Some of you may remember this little tractor, I traded it to my old neighbor last year after the ice storm for a couple chainsaws. Anyway he is selling his house and didn't have a need for it anymore, so he called me up the other night wanting to know if I'd be interested in buying the tractor back from him. Went and picked it up last night, glad to have her back home. Going to mount my 25 gallon sprayer on the back and put her to work. On a side note I'm figuring out I should've bought a bigger shop, this one is filling up fast

I have a few craftsman boxes and a mac tools side cabinet and a old MEC slide door machinist box. I have a lot of craftsman tools, and some snap on and mac tools from my diesel mechanic days. Then I got a lot of older tools from my grandad and those are a whole range of different makes. But they all work regardless of the make and that's what counts.

I fixed up a battery tray today. I may do a resto thread on fixing these things up. Pretty easy & even @19richie66 can do it ....oh my double slam in the same post!

I just replaced the 36 year old 22x7.5x12 on my Wheel Horse SK-486 with 23x10.5x12 Hi Run 4-Plys from Tractor Supply. They fit fine - no problem. Look great. Excellent traction. Suggestion, have your local tire shop mount them. I struggled for three hours with no results. The auto shop did both of them in a half hour for $20.

If anyone wants to really go on the High End...the Copper Kettle Restaurant featuring Prime Rib, Steaks, Sea Food and cocktails is excellent. It is located on rt #30 just west of US #81. Oysters on the 1/2 shell and Prime Rib with scotch on the rocks.

One thing I've noticed since I have sorta started looking at getting another truck. Every one I see that I might be what I'm looking for has a gray interior. My current Toyota's and my last Chevy all had gray. Every GMC or Chevy I've looked at had gray. I don't want Gray! Matches my hair!

I've come to the conclusion that no matter how big a building is, it's never big enough. This one is 12x32, when I looked at it I thought it would be plenty big, and thought the same when they delivered it. I'm now finding out I was wrong. After I get the C141 put back together, as well as the 701 that's in pieces in my storage shed, I'm going to be short on space. Thinking I may build a lean to off the back side where I can park my working tractors to keep them under cover while still freeing up work space in the shop

I had a 2000 Silverado 4.8 5spd manual ext. cab 4x4 3.73 gear that consistently got 18-19 mpg highway just didn't have a lot of grunt pulling my '78 Malibu, then I got the '14 Silverado Z71 5.3 6psd Auto 3.08 gear and consistently 19-20 mpg highway with a best of 24.7 it's has a lot more grunt but those stupid EPA gears hurt when towing the car, it has black interior.

168,000 on my 2004 Tundra, other than the regular wearable parts, and maintenance nothings been done to it. Love this truck, owned it since 31,500 miles, 11 years, plan to drive it till it dies. Only down side is the MPG, 13-14 in town 16 Hwy, put a load in it or pull a trailer, forget about. Pull a 3300 Lb boat now and then, Hwy 9 mpg, in town not worth checking . Still wouldn't trade it for my last two Chevy's, and I'm a Chevy guy.

Genuine Kohler head gaskets for the K Twins have the same appearance as the aftermarket ones. I have used the aftermarket head gaskets with good success. Always remember to hot torque any small engine head gasket after the fires test run where it comes up to normal operating temperature. If you will be needing internal parts keep in mind that pistons and rings from a K-301 will work in a K-532. Here is a listing from Brian Miller's site. http://gardentractorpullingtips.com/a1miller.htm#rebuildparts Kohler K-series/Magnum models K301, M12 and K532 Ring Sets, and Piston and Ring Sets (includes wrist pin and retaining clips). New connecting rods for Kohler KT-series and Magnum engine models MV16, KT17, KT17 Series II, M18, MV18 with a wrist pin hole diameter of .625" and STD crank journal diameter of 1.3733"/1.3738". NOTE: Crank journal must be reground .010" undersize to match this rod. And new rods for model KT19 is no longer available. L Also, the KT17 cylinders are different than the M18 cylinders because the OEM KT17 rods are narrower than the M18 rods. To make the KT17 cylinders work with M18 rods, grind away (notch out) the lower portion of the cylinders until the rods clear. Or acquire a couple of M18 cylinders that's in good condition. (The OEM [US] manufacturers are phasing out many parts for flathead engines due to EPA smog emissions. But some parts may still be available in aftermarket.) The alternative to using undersize rods - If STD size or .010" undersize rods are in good condition, the matching crank journals can be reground so they're perfectly round again then if the original rod(s) isn't badly scored or burnt, it can be resized to fit to odd-size undersize journal(s) with .0025" oil clearance. NOTE - The maximum a connecting rod can be resized to is .005" undersize. If it's resized more than .005", being the big hole in the rod will be made excessively oblong or egg-shaped, which will allow it to less bearing surface contact around the crank journal after being resized, due to the centrifugal force at 3,600 RPM, the big end of the rod could become elongated (metal stretch) and might eventually knock and possibly break. IMPORTANT: To prevent scoring of the rods when the engine is ran for the first time, apply clean motor oil, gear oil or lubricating grease on crank journal before installing rod. This will better protect the parts until crankcase oil reaches them. IMPORTANT: Click here for proper break-in (wear-in) oils and procedure for rebuilt engines. STD size. High quality aftermarket. $70.00 each, plus shipping & handling. OEM Kohler part # 52 067 67-S. $98.90 each, plus shipping & handling. .010" undersize (w/hole drilled in beam section). High quality aftermarket. $90.00 each, plus shipping & handling. OEM Kohler part # 52 067 68-S. $123.88 each, plus shipping & handling. New connecting rod for Kohler KT-series and Magnum engine models KT19 series II, M20 and MV20 with a wrist pin hole diameter of .750" and STD crank journal diameter of 1.4993"/1.4998". NOTE: Crank journal must be reground .010" undersize to match this rod. The alternative to using undersize rods - If STD size or .010" undersize rods are in good condition, the matching crank journals can be reground so they're perfectly round again then if the original rod(s) isn't badly scored or burnt, it can be resized to fit to odd-size undersize journal(s) with .0025" oil clearance. IMPORTANT: To prevent scoring of the rods when the engine is started for the first time, apply clean motor oil, gear oil or lubricating grease on crank journal before installing rod. This will better protect the parts until crankcase oil reaches them. IMPORTANT: Click here for proper break-in (wear-in) oils and procedure for rebuilt engines. STD size no longer available from any source. Not available in aftermarket. L (The OEM [US] manufacturers are phasing out many parts for flathead engines due to EPA smog emissions. But some parts may still be available in aftermarket.) .010" undersize (w/hole drilled in beam section). OEM Kohler part # 52 067 72-S. $93.10 each, plus shipping & handling. Connecting rods for Kohler engine models K482, K532, K582 and K660/K662 are no longer available from Kohler. Used and New Old Stock rods can be purchased off of eBay when available. And with the crankshaft rod journals reground to .010", .020" or .030" undersize, the K482, K532 or K582 connecting rods can be bored for installation of bearing inserts. Bearing inserts that's made for certain British MG Midget cars will fit the K482, K532 and K582 rods perfectly when the rods are bored to accept these (STD size, .010", .020" or .030" undersize) bearing inserts. The alternative to using undersize rods - if a STD size or .010" undersize rod is in good condition, the matching crank journal can be reground until it's perfectly round again, then if the original rod isn't badly scored or burnt, it can be resized (in a connecting rod honing machine) to fit or match the odd-size undersize journal with .0025" oil clearance. Bearing inserts cannot be used in this procedure. He can bore the K482, K532 or K582 rods and install bearing inserts for a reasonable price. The K482 STD size connecting rod is OEM Kohler part number A-277130-S. The K482 .010" undersize connecting rod is OEM Kohler part number A-277130-S-10. The K532 and K582 STD size connecting rod in an engine with [K301 or K321 K-series] cast pistons (wide wrist pin hole) is OEM Kohler part number 48 067 12-S. The K532 and 582 STD size connecting rod in an engine with [M12, M14 or M16 Magnum] Mahle pistons (narrow wrist pin hole) is 48 067 16-S. The K532 and 582 .010" undersize connecting rod in an engine with [M12, M14 or M16 Magnum] Mahle pistons (narrow wrist pin hole) is 48 067 17-S.
