One of the greatest features of Red Square is the outstanding support we have from our Moderators. One in particular is @gwest_ca. Garry has provided manual downloads to countless posters needing information and I want to take this opportunity to thank him. .

Here's my latest project, a sickle bar for the front to get into the long grass I have. I welded the frame onto an old tach a matic bracket. So it clips on. Then started on the cross shaft. then the tensioner and here it it is mounted and running video to come later when I fit the correct belt.

Well guys.... I kind of hem & hawed after seeing what he had in the package deal.... Just kidding I got it !!! Loaded everything up and hot footed it home.

If you're cutting the ouside sheath of the cable shorter... you're going to want to cut the inside anyway... otherwise, why shorten the sheath!? Save yourself all hassle.... cut the off one z bend, pull the wire out a little... cut the sheath, then get a pair of these..... bend the raw wire end in the right direction and never have to fight stupid twisty cable hookups again. Pictures first. I can't complain about the traction. I backed into that fence post It climbed up and over, I only had time to jump off. No real damage was done to the Wheel Horse. Scratched the paint on the rear fender and warped that wore out seat. I twisted the seat back into shape with a board and ratchet strap.

Glad to hear your ok! I've heard of a horse rearing up at a hitching post but this is rediculous

7-14-1968 Hank Aaron hits 500th homer On July 14, 1968, Atlanta Braves slugger Henry “Hank” Aaron hits the 500th home run of his career in a 4-2 win over the San Francisco Giants. Henry Aaron was born February 5, 1934, in Mobile, Alabama. The third of eight children, Aaron was a star football player, third baseman and outfielder in high school, and signed with the ***** League’s Mobile Black Bears while still a teenager. He joined the Indianapolis Clowns in 1952 at age 18 and helped them win the ***** League World Series. The next year, his contract was sold to the Milwaukee Braves of the National League. On April 13, 1954, Aaron became the last former ***** League player to make his debut in the major leagues. Aaron broke camp with the big league Braves in 1954 after a year of thorough domination in the minor leagues. In that and many future seasons with the Braves, Aaron shared the spotlight with third baseman Eddie Matthews. For their careers, the two men hit a record 863 home runs as teammates and hit home runs in the same game 75 times. In 1957, Aaron won his only MVP award, hitting .322 with 44 home runs and 132 RBIs. Aaron, Matthews and pitchers Warren Spahn and Lew Burdette led the Braves to a World Series victory that year over Manager Casey Stengel and his perennial favorite New York Yankees. In 1958, the Braves won their second National League pennant in a row, but lost a World Series rematch to the Yankees. On July 14, 1968, with 499 career home runs under his belt, Aaron hit a three-run shot in the third inning off Giants’ pitcher Mike McCormick. Aaron was mobbed at home plate by his teammates and presented with an award by Braves President Bill Bartholomay honoring him as the seventh man in baseball history to hit 500 home runs. Aaron was already 34 years old in 1968, the age at which players of his era usually began a rapid decline. Although 1968 was a slightly off year for the slugger–he hit .287 with 29 home runs and 86 RBIs–Aaron was not yet slowing down. Naysayers ate their words as they watched him hit 203 home runs between 1969 and 1973. On April 8, 1974, after a winter of hate mail containing threats from racist fans, Aaron broke Babe Ruth’s record for career home runs when he hit his 715th off Cincinnati’s Jack Billingham. Aaron retired from baseball in 1976 with 755 home runs. After a career of remarkable offensive consistency, Aaron retired as the all-time leader in runs batted in, extra base hits and total bases. He was named to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1982.

Tree frogs in the outhouse. They hung out in outhouse for about 2 weeks. I found out after a few days there was 2 of them. It must've been over a hundred degrees in there during the daytime. I moved him to the creek twice. He kept coming back.

Very nice! I have a C-160 I restored. Fun machine. I think that is a 42" deck there. It is the good reinforced one. Good Luck.

Got the hydraulics all finished and just need to mount the pump. I also ordered some new headlight lenses for the originals and a throttle knob. This tractor is a blast to drive and can't imagine not have a diesel. It rolls coal.

I think quite a few of us have done this. I rolled my 401 off of a trailer, wasn't hurt thank goodness but it makes ya feel a little foolish after the fact...... Glad you weren't hurt!!!

Too late! It's already happened but I wouldn't have it any other way. I even found some Rock & Rye down here. So many well said comments about the folks in this hobby. The little red tractors we all love happen to be the catalyst for what brings us all together but all I can think of is that there’s something a little special about those blessed with incurable WHA. I never had the pleasure of meeting Jerry but, based on the wonderful comments here, I’d say that there’s no doubt that Richie makes his father very proud as he watches down on him. I am happy that I was able to do this for Richie as well as the others things I’ve done but it pales to what so many of you have done for others as well as me. The two brothers that I became acquainted weren’t Wheel Horse people were going to sell all four Wheel Horses they inherited but decided to keep one of them and fix it up. That wasn’t because of me but rather because of them getting on this forum and being so impressed by the camaraderie amongst all the folks on Red Square and the willingness for everyone here to help others. It would be futile and unnecessary to try to list names. Just look at the member list and there you have it.
