Went out this morning to see a friend and ended coming home with a couple on the trailer found a nice hood for my raider 14, plow for my 312 and 603,854,500 special and a lawn ranger the 603 I bought at the show a couple of years ago from AMCrules, then for some dumb reason sold it, glad I got it back

I'll spare you the step by step, but I always like when guys post before and after's, so here's a few . . . I picked this up from a kid at the show two years ago. It's a beast and was such a good worker it deserved better

Well today I decided that I could finally empty the pickup's bed with the ballast I used over the Winter. It doesn't seem like we will get any more snow. I have been hauling around the 60" deck that I bought for the 523Dxi last Fall. The trouble was it took four men to lift it in to the bed, and it was only Mrs. Sailor, Juno, and I to get it out! Out came my trusty 518xi with the HF crane attachment. I did wonder if I could reach in far enough or if I would need to borrow/buy an engine crane. My other concern was were to attach the strap for lifting. I rolled it to the edge of the tailgate. Luckily Toro added the small wheel on the 5xi version to allow it to roll sideways. With the boom at the 500 lb. point I looped the strap through the leveler assembly and lifted. It had just enough to allow me to drive the truck out of the way. I then lowered it to be on the gauge wheels and drove it to the temporary storage spot. I intend to make a vertical storage cart for it now that I have it out.

Had the quadcopters out this morning & got a chance to try the new one . First shot is a still picture from the 1080p HD camera & the second one is a screen shot from a video shot through the same camera . I wish I was skilled enough to have got a still shot of the skyline . Next time I'll give it a shot .

Here's mine 2014 RC 16ft tandem bought in the Cheesehead state. I was looking at a 14 ft. single and if you do the math you are pushing the weight limits, also tandem will ride a lot nicer. I can haul 6 tractors, have e track down both sides and strap tractor tires down, Herculiner rolled on floor, two roof vents installed, Radio, insulated ceiling. I bought new as most used trailers in my area seem to be high priced compared to new.

I'm sure the Hurst Shifter made the job go faster. When you get to our age you need to work smart; can't work that hard!

I built a 3 ft high rolling 'robot' with my 110v motorized Erector set, and it had a little light on top.....Scared the beejesus outta Mom at 3am by power rolling it into their bedroom. Got gentle whooppin from Dad. I bought hundreds of nuts, bolts, V pulleys, girders, etc from Gilbert via mail order catalog. This was in the early 60s and I left it to my neighbor kids after high school. Untold days on end playing with this set building any number of things...including a mini log splitter. It was from this set that I learned how to use a flat screwdriver...probably on the 2nd or 3rd stab wound. Lincoln logs, tinker toys, Plastic bricks took up my childhood.

4-17-1964 Ford Mustang debuts at World’s Fair The Ford Mustang, a two-seat, mid-engine sports car, is officially unveiled by Henry Ford II at the World’s Fair in Flushing Meadows, New York, on April 17, 1964. That same day, the new car also debuted in Ford showrooms across America and almost 22,000 Mustangs were immediately snapped up by buyers. Named for a World War II fighter plane, the Mustang was the first of a type of vehicle that came to be known as a “pony car.” Ford sold more than 400,000 Mustangs within its first year of production, far exceeding sales expectations. The Mustang was conceived as a “working man’s Thunderbird,” according to Ford. The first models featured a long hood and short rear deck and carried a starting price tag of around $2,300. Ford general manager Lee Iacocca, who became president of the company in October 1964 (and later headed up Chrysler, which he was credited with reviving in the 1980s) was involved in the Mustang’s development and marketing. The car’s launch generated great interest. It was featured on the covers of Newsweek and Time magazines and the night before it went on sale, the Mustang was featured in commercials that ran simultaneously on all three major television networks. One buyer in Texas reportedly slept at a Ford showroom until his check cleared and he could drive his new Mustang home. The same year it debuted, the Mustang appeared on the silver screen in the James Bond movie “Goldfinger.” A green 1968 Mustang 390 GT was famously featured in the 1968 Steve McQueen movie “Bullitt,” in a car chase through the streets of San Francisco. Since then, Mustangs have appeared in hundreds of movies. Within three years of its debut, some 500 Mustang fan clubs had cropped up. In March 1966, the 1 millionth Mustang rolled off the assembly line. In honor of the Mustang’s 35th anniversary in 1999, the U.S. Postal Service issued a stamp commemorating the original model. In 2004, Ford built its 300 millionth car, a 2004 Mustang GT convertible 40th anniversary model. The 2004 Mustangs were the final vehicles made at the company’s Dearborn production facility, which had been building Mustangs since their debut. (Assembly then moved to a plant in Flat Rock, Michigan.) Over the decades, the Mustang underwent numerous evolutions, and it remains in production today, with more than 9 million sold.

Very nice! What amazes me is that so many of these old horses are even better than when they left the factory!

My wife is a little on the shorter side so hitting the clutches on my horses is abit of an issue. I have recently gotten my 953 back up and functioning and the clutch petal is closer to the seat so I figured I would have her try driving it. Here is the result .

Well I started cleaning up the new to me 520H (it's a 1995 with 236 hrs on the clock) ,the fuel line was leaking so that's where I started today (was trying to get the 523Dxi fired but have stalled on that for a bit injection pump/fuel system issues)...the filth of neglect for many years, pulled the hydro filter to get the tank off, oil nasty grey with water?(should have had hygard from the factory ,lol) anyways here a few shots before and after...can't do a whole lot in the in-law's garage there's a Harley parked in there but I figured would scrape the worst off till I get it back out side to soak it with purple power and pressure wash it then lube all the linkages ect...Jeff.

Well went to get my Wheel horse. As stated by PO it fired with help of jumpbox! Sure runs smooth! Fuel line from pump to carb was leaking badly, so only ran it as long as needed to get to truck. Tried to drive it onto truck ramps, deck too low. Love this set up for deck removal!! Very cool! Got her loaded and only saw some body damage on rear fender Alignment was also way off, caused ramps to move a lot on way up. All in all a nice machine! Looks like according to id badge it is 1981 right? Looks like it was dealer serviced. New fuel pump it looks like, belts look ok as does deck! Not sure on how the posting works for photos so sorry for poor layout! We adjusted the toe so now it moves better! Drives good but the smell of mouse nest kept me from running long time! Might not have one, did not see hay? Will take tins off tomorrow and plan to wash it and detail it. I was a auto detailer long time ago and still am anal with my cars. Plan on possible buff to paint if it needs one. Videos are uploading now!

That's why I have Mrs. Sailor sitting on the hood. Actually I left the snow blade on and elevated so that the additional weight would transfer to the front. It worked! It's actually a B&M shifter handle. It must add at least a Septen-decillion horsepower!

Friend of mine had one of those guns. He'd pump it up for like an hour and shoot pellets thru it. He would shoot beer cans with it (The real cans of the 60's and 70's) and blow a hole as big as a half dollar in them.

I am looking at a 211-5 wheel horse this afternoon. It's a one owner garage kept tractor. Pictures from cl shows a gorgeous really no flaws. I talked to ther owner and he says it runs and cuts great. He has original manual and receipts in plastic still. He was looking for 400 for it. Can I get any advice on it / what to look for / think 400 is fair? My dad and grandpa owned wheel horses and I would love to carry on the tradition Thanks for the advise

When you consider that a new push mower is almost $300, $400 sounds pretty good and you can ride it. Pictures look nice. Just know that the vertical shaft horses are not garden tractors.

So that's the start of my addictive ways.I guess I won't be needing any more therapy sessions.Haha.I also had an erector set.Actually still have it.Also had American bricks and Lincoln logs. Also had a couple other neat building toys......a Bridge and Turnpike set that you made roads with. Also a Girder and Panel set that you built buildings with.Had small plastic I-beams and small panels with either windows or doors.I played with all those toys for years. Thanks for the trip down memory lane Aldon.I loved those toys........

I'm thinking you may want to go with a heavier axle. Say a 5k or even a 7k. With your Bike, a couple of tractors and ?? you'll be close to maxed out. You've got plenty of truck.

Jim that is every ones dream. To have a lift for double stacking with side sliders for easy slot positioning. Sand blasting in the back . Couple of lift stands to work on them, and to go with that a master mechanic's tool set. Wifi in the garage. With a full size frig. OOPPSS to much dreaming there I guess.

Waiting for motor rebuild kit and rain every day so I started to.work on some small parts. Cleaned the fuel pump and started cleaning the carburetor. Fuel pump was easy but the carburetor is going to take some work. Also put the starter/gen back together with new bearings, brushes and stud insulators.
