4 pointsI added a new category to my website. "SPECIAL SALES EVENT" All items listed in that category are deeply discounted by 40% the items will be changed randomly so check back often if you do not see the kit you need as it may go on Sale from time to time. Right now I have some of the 300 400 and 500 series tractor kits on sale As always the paid forum supporters who have registered on my site and provided their RedSquare username will see Forum support prices on all tractor kits and many other items. Items in the SALES EVENT CATEGORY Will not be subject to the RedSquare Forum support discount. If you are not currently a Forum supporter, this would be a good time to become one. If you are contemplating freshening up your tractors decals this winter and are a supporter please make sure you are registered on my site to take advantage of the savings as well as all the other Support Group benefits on our forum. Thank you

-
3 pointsThere's something new, oil technology has come a very long way. No, let's not talk about oil.

2 pointsI can't even believe that the Hawkeyes won that game. Missed three different field goals and they have had some of the NFL's best place kicker. Now if they would have played the way that they played the last 6 to 7 minutes that game would have been a cakewalk. Scored two touchdowns in 4 minutes, what happened the other 3 quarters seemed like they were out to Lunch. Duke what the #$!! happened? Talk about roadblocks. Wonder what will happen next week after Michigan don't they play Michigan State? Bitten what's up? The Buckeyes also ran into something but I don't know what it was. Talked with the Dino yesterday during the Iowa game, he told me that yes, McNeese state just about took out Nebraska. It seems these smaller colleges have some really good athletes. Time will tell

2 pointsJust goes to show you can never assume anything! Bad gas is something you wouldn't have guessed to be the problem. Chalk another one up to experience.
-
2 pointsI just hate the PAC 12.... and most of the Big Ten teams that did win were close games and won in the fourth quarter...Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska, Penn St, and Rutgers

A few of us local collectors here in Ohio have been talking about starting a club for years and we decided to make it happen this past weekend at the Mansfield,Ohio show. We will be sending out news letters to the registered members with more info, meetings etc..as they occur,we are currently working on a club logo.

1 pointI check mine last evening and it was the short one, which came with the 520. I purchased. But it has a 56" blade. One thing I do know for sure... As soon as you get rid of it, you'll need it.

1 pointI have four Onans(2-16's and 2-20's) and use Onan filters. For sure a tight space but I didn't think it was to bad. Definitely remove the rubber gasket first. I have a small plastic funnel that wedges up underneath the drip pan under the filter and directs the oil outside the frame. Sometimes I use a bent piece of shim stock to create a valley for the oil. I do bungee the wires out of the way far enough to do the job. I've seen cars and trucks that are worse to get to and make more of a mess.

1 pointI went to the Nittany Antique Machinery Assoc. Inc. tractor show in Centre Hall, Pa. today (9-6-2014). Here are pics of the Wheel Horses that I saw there. Joe

1 pointEvery thing you need to fix the fuse block properly can be purchased here and very cheaply, I might add. http://www.delcity.net/store/ATC-&-ATO-4!way-Stackable-Fuse-Block/p_10898 I recommend you purchase a few extra terminal connectors because they are cheap and nice to have around. The voltage regulators are sold on EBay very cheaply also. Use a volt meter and check the voltage directly at the battery. With engine running you should see somewhere around 13.5 volts if your battery is fully charged. The Onan voltage regulators are on sale at this time on EBay for as little as $20.00 New. Just type Onan Voltage Regulator in the search block.

1 pointAlso the part behind the flywheel is the ignition module. Dont hook this up backwards. I believe this is pretty well impossible because the posts on the coil are different sizes but just thought I would mention it.

1 pointI would stick with the Briggs if its a good runner and avoid the Tecumseh headache. Just my opinion. Mike.........
-
1 pointI would try to jumper the oil pressure sensor as it is normally open and see if your warning light goes out. The Oil Temperature is a different circuit.

1 pointOk, here's what you do. You need to go outside in front of garage, take three steps back and yell "DINO" where are you? More than likely you'll have an answer on your tranny. Stevasaurus does this stuff in his sleep. He's like a resident tractor doctor amongst several others that also know what they are doing. Gonna give you a heads up though, He is also a Bears fan, I don't think he plays well with Cheeseheads enter at your own risk. No it's not all that, I'm, sure he'll wake up sooner or later
