I picked up this nice '67 Ranger with a blade from" Lane Ranger" today. It's a 107 that Lane converted to electric start. He even met me half way to make the exchange, thank you Lane. I'm gonna fix this up for my Grandson. I also got this reel mower from Lane, Grandpa's gonna keep this.

I though I would show off the pole barn I've been building over the course of the last year - yes a year, I'm a first time pole barn builder! The project started off rather dishearteningly when I received excavation quotes from $900 to $9,000... seemingly a little high for a leveling a 24'x36' pad (or so I thought). So on a rather lazy Sunday afternoon a year ago I hooked the moldboard plow to the ranger, fluid filled the rear tires and went to work plowing up the backyard! So began my year long learning process of pole barn construction - and I'm happy to report my trusty ranger only consumed 2 gallons of fuel while leveling the pad for the barn. Below are some progress pictures of the new barn, home now to the lawn ranger and the 310-8! Still plenty to be done, but at least it is weather tight. Never underestimate the capabilities of a Wheel Horse!

Been trying to get the garage straight, thought we had it but ran out of room. Decided to add some more space, added a 15x15 lean to. Have the guys coming by tomorrow to put the siding on and friends coming over tomorrow night to run some electricity But as you can tell in the last pic I need more space. This addiction is bad. Even had my wife out yesterday and today helping, I think she has caught the disease also

We got hit today. Family is ok. Lost most of our windows and part of our roof but is fixable. Houses just a block away are totally gone. Had just come in from taking advantage of the warm weather and pressure washing one of my recently bought horses. Tractor was still sitting where I parked it after the storm, just had the hood and seat flipped up. I'll post some pics when I get a chance.

i have good luck with the 4 terminals available on ebay. triodiode is the sellers name, seem to be good quality. search: Delco Remy Generator Voltage Regulator 12 Volt New

I've had pretty good luck just fixing them. As long as the diaphragm isn't cracked or broken, you can try cleaning the inside and flip the little check valve discs over. Test the check valves to make sure they are sealing properly and if so, it should be OK. Be careful of those little springs flying out, they are very hard to find if they do.

I just got permission from the mine company to take all the standing dead timber and fallen trees I want. 7,000 acres of woods that butts up to my back yard. The Horse will get a good work out this winter!

With all the talk of snow blowers and winter approaching I decided that I needed a way to provide a little heat in the barn for the cold days ahead. I was originally looking for an old pot belly stove on craigslist when my in-laws offered me a box stove that they had bought but never installed. Not exactly what I was after, but free is always the right price. The clearances this stove required were crazy large, so I went to my scrap building materials pile looking for an answer. I ended up installing 1" of concrete board on the wall / work bench side, followed by a left over piece of metal siding (spaced 1" off the concrete board with vents top and bottom). I wanted something different for the top so I took the Wheel Horse and garden cart down to our creek and collected some stone. A little cutting with my cheap Harbor Freight tile saw, followed by a steep learning curve in masonry and a couple close misses to the head by falling rocks and I have a wood stove surround!

Is that the one you were talking about at the Jacksonville show? Looks pretty nice. i thought you said you didn't have room though? I'll help you out... I told you how to get to my parents' place... you can store it there!

Mike, The best I can come up with is a Napa VR 897. 12 volt curved bracket. It was used on many Garden Tractors. It pays to have old Napa books around. The Buffalo DC shows 1 so your Napa should be able to get it in a couple of days. They should be able to show you a pic of it. It isn't cheap!! Just think, If I could have drove last week, it would be my problem not yours! Good luck!

None of my stuff is as nice as the worst on here, and whoa on an attempt to upgrade from some one else's hard work is LOW. Honesty is still the best way to sell, deceit makes something good turn bad, and those deceivers are never forgotten.

giants didn't look like a team that was 0-6. Packers have no one left to play. Rodgers goes down and the line forgets how to run block. High winds blew the dust off of the Bears Horseshoe.

I love it. Can't borrow a phone or camera from somebody. Go thru the bother with an ad and can't display a pic of exactly the item your selling. probably looks like this:

No matter how big we build our tractor storage/workshops they are never big enough . Looks like you'll have enough room for the next 6 months or so.... ! Mike............

It's the only Techy I have Craig, and it runs like a koh............ well, like a top. Of course it does Denny. After all...it is a Tec...ummm, another great little .

yes it adds weight, but the hood will not like that for very long, and it adds the weight over the axle, putting more strain on the axle pivot, spindles and wheel bearings, not to mention the poor hood hinges.

I took the Cyl head gasket and used my ole trick of painting the Cyl head gasket with Metallic Paint. I reassembled the head and air filter then decided to clean up the tractor a bit. I guess MJ thinks my tractors SEXY but then she said its hers And she took over, and rooted the Ole Duke out the way! WTF hmmm I told her she will have no problem getting the tractor running on her own so this whole thing is up in the air! Ive heard of happy wife happy life, but this chit is ridiculous !

Took this one today. Loaded up my Dad's 552 and my 550 in the truck and brought them over to my Gramps to play with his Raider 10. Great day in the yard. Tons of smiles. My Gramps is 88, I haven't seen him climb into the seat in ages.. very cool watching him cruise around the yard with a big smile on his face. Great day!

If there is some possible other deals in the works, I don't blame you for not giving out any details until all is said and done. There are some, who if they get any kind of information "specially if it's something really good", will steal that "possible deal" out from under you in a heart beat friends or not!!! I really want to know the story but more than willing to wait. Good Job Duke.

Turned out to be the spring assist. Once I got it off completely, then the blower sat down the whole way. Still waiting for a new chute cable, and I need to cut the extra off the chains.

I bought a set for the 518xi two years ago and they are now mounted on my 520xi. They do ride a bit rough on dry asphalt but when it snows (a rarity here in MD the last two years,) the ride does get smoother. I have been happy with them, and they are effective in getting traction on ice. I have dug ruts in the dirt and they don't slip on the wheel. What is especially nice about them is that they do not mark the pavement as chains do.

Hi GlenPettit, This is the original dash panel of my 702 wheel horse tractor. The colour is what you can see. Now I'm in restoration process and I cleaned it all with water. I will paint it in a few days. When I finish it I will post some photos.

I'm replacing my stock lift control valve with a control valve equipped with pressure relief, on a Charger 12 tractor. Can anyrone tell me which line on the Sunstrand hydro is the pressure line and which is the return line. I suspect the correct connection is important due to the pressure relief feature. Thanks

I figured on a Wheel Horse board the 345 would go unmentioned.... It's an outstanding garden tractor (water cooled Kawasaki)with 375ish hours on it that i bought from the original owner for what I would consider a really good deal. The wheel horse is going to my old man once I clean it up and we repower, hopefully with a series 2. Like you said, plenty to do beyond the repower. It's a winter project, but I don't want to be power washing in sub freezing temperatures, so I'm looking to get all the cleaning done this fall.

Just a bit of a picture update, for the most part this is how it will be at the MI WH show, I have a temp fuel tank mounted, I may swap the hood for a nicer one, I have a few new gauges on order should be here this week, got the aircleaner mount done, just need to tighten the bolts so it sets level, seat is not what I want but it's in good shape and fits for now, starter is giving me fits, needs replaced but will be weeks to get one, so crossing my fingers it holds out for now, any way here it is ugly but drivable, I'm so glad I did the GT14 fender swap, it was a bit of work, but I'm VERY happy with it and the way the footrest turned out.
