6 pointsI got board on Halloween and went looking for some pumpkins to buy to make a quickie Halloween set up for the drive bys to look at. There wasn't one pumpkin left within 25 miles of my house! I drove all over town looking and could only find these small pumpkins and some big gourds! The neighbors liked my Christmas tractor light show each year, so I may have to do this Halloween theme next year. This is the, too late for Halloween quickie theme but I can be ready for next year I hope! Maybe I started a fad with this! After I took these pics, I moved the scarecrow geeker up beside the WH A-90 Special machine, it looked a little better up there but I didn't get a pic of it.

2 pointsI always wondered what Joe's Power Equipment facility looked like -- he's the guy on eBay that sells all the parts from one Wheel Horse, hundreds, nearly every week on eBay, and who a lot of us have purchased parts from. He has a informational site on the RedSquare sister site; GardenTtractorTalk: http://gardentractortalk.com/forums/topic/12358-a-visit-to-joes-outdoor-power/ Interesting to see how clean, neat and organized his facilities are in the two dozen photos here, and understand how they operate there. 2 pointsI picked up this beautiful D-160 Saturday night to ad to the Herd. It came with a snowblower, snow cab,and wheel weights. One of the reasons i bought this tractor the guy i got it from hard maintenances records for the past 30 years on it. I was amazed how well kept this Wheel Horse and how in most cases i find them in bad shape when i get them. The only thing im probably going to rid of is the snow cab ill probably put it in the Wheel Horse classifieds soon.

2 pointsI added this area because although it has nothing to do with Wheel Horse, it does have to do with our venue on getting information. With technology changing at light speed, keeping up is almost impossible, even for those who are developing this new technologies. So here's the place for us to ask others their thoughts on the new stuff (and old)
-
2 pointsI love reading maintence records... how sick am I? Wait...don't answer that.

2 pointsMy buddy and I went together and bought 3 of these lifts at one time at a real good price. They are 1500 lbs lifts and work great for working on tractors. With us buying them as a package deal we got them for $600 each. Watch the classified ads and Ebay, you may be able to find a used one at a good price.

2 pointsCan this week, we have all picks in, by HALF-TIME.... I like that idea.... LOL
-
2 pointsCharlie, heres a pic of my 312-8 sporting a set of Simplicity 2 wheeled tractor weights off Grandad's old walk behind. They are not real heavy but I like how they look, and I get to take Grandad with me everywhere I go

1 pointI'm really proud of my find and purchase today. I have been shoveling to long. Little winter rebuild and repair and should be good to go. This is a McCormick #100 made to be pulled by cub farmalls. Hopefully the 520 can handle it. It's got more HP than a cub when new. If not I always have something that will. Looks like a good setup though.

1 pointGreat maintenance records. Great find and very well cared for.

1 pointGood looking tractor.....having those records is like a diary of the tractor! Mike..............
-
1 pointVery nice looking "D"....Can't beat maintenance records on a new GT! Thanks for the photos.
-
1 pointThanks, I was only curious. seems the price of wheel horse stuff is on the rise. sorry you got outbid.
-
1 pointThose weigh about 25lbs a piece. I have 3 or 4 sets of them and one set of matching inner weights.
-
1 pointI have repowered RJ's with 6.5 Honda clone engines a number of times without issue. They run strong and fit almost perfectly... you juts a little modification required to the air box and exhaust. No mods are required to the tractor.
-
1 pointI have also heard that Vinegar will remove the plating off nuts and bolts for welding. Makes sense but I haven't tried it. You might want to be a bit careful if you throw in some of the handbrake levers or PTO levers. I have had good success with throwing plated parts in Oxalic acid.
-
1 pointYes but cost more $ even if you don't get one with electric start these motors start very easy
-
1 pointback in the 60's I used to like reading car owners manuals. I still got a couple of them.
-
1 pointWell, got the D series blade lever done! I used channel iron at bottom for connection with bolts, not the slip-over with pin that is in instructions, and made my own pull trigger, just like a real Horse one. I DO good work......"pat on back"! NOW! Where and How for a rubber grip on that end? Well says my pix too big, not sure why NOW and do all the time, but just one for now @#$*&!
-
1 pointBeautiful collection! I'm really liking that D. Now I'm going to have to start keeping a close eye on the classifieds. A snow cab is way up high on my list! -Dan

1 pointLiving near Youngstown Ohio, I see to much black and yellow. At least up until this year. And it's amazing how suddenly all the closet Browns fans are pulling out their gear. Yeah. Browns get 32nd pick of the 2014 draft!
-
1 pointPictures look like house of a Hoarder to me! You should try to get cured of that problem!

1 pointSaw articles all week on how the Packers were playing so well with undrafted free agents and practice squad guys. Saying Rodgers was the 1 guy they absolutely could not afford to lose. We'll the jinx worked. Packers have now lost their 10th starter this year. Bears now in the drivers seat. Lions are too stupid to win anything.

1 pointI've had the Samsung Galaxy Note II (rooted) for a while and it's been very stable for me and I've installed hundreds of apps. Some people call it a phablet because it's a 5.5" inch screen but even that seems a bit small for my hands. The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 isn't much of an improvement so I'm waiting for something in the 6-7" range with decent power and a quality screen. I use a service called Ting which has a system of levels where you are charged based on usage (as they define it). I also connect to Wifi whenever feasible. Ting buys bandwidth from Sprint and I'm in a 4g area so it works out well for me. My costs dropped from $90 a month unlimited everything plan to $25-$35 a month usage plan on Ting. Sprint didn't have that many 4g areas initially but they seem to be working double time because I see more popping up lately.

1 pointgrab the correct ignition switch p# 103990 and use the diagram below for your wiring
-
1 pointYes they are. Seat is firm but comfy. Marvin's got another TSC style and it's a great seat for comfort too
-
1 pointthe mission was a success! we used every inch of that little tractor supply trailer. 1000 miles round trip, well worth it.
-
1 pointI bought a seat at Tractor Supply #0278302. Comfortable, looks good and well made. I ended up taking the armrests off because I'm not a fan of them but that's just me.
-
1 pointI have this seat on my C-160. Had it for 7 years now. Most comfortable tractor seat I ever sat on. Would buy another in a min. http://www.surpluscenter.com/Brands/Seat-Solutions/355-UNIVERSAL-FOLD-DOWN-BLACK-SEAT-W-ARMRESTS.axd

1 pointWell, if I get that call from DA BEARS, I can be ready to go against GB in a couple of weeks. I just hope they wear those same, terrible uniforms against DA BEARS that they wore last Sunday. They looked like a bunch of FAT Notre Dame players on the field. I still like Cleveland to be a playoff team this year. And Minnesota let the lowly Giants win a game...give me a break.
