2 pointsIf you currently have three Suburbans in the basement because there isn't room for another in the garage or shed...you're most probably enjoying a addiction. Especially so...if your wife is using one of 'em for a clothes rack, as we speak.

1 pointI bought this C-120 auto about a month ago It came with a 42" snow thrower and a 48" deck that are in good condition. It starts, runs really well. The lights work. The attachments work great. I would say it's in fair cosmetic condition no dents, but hood and fenders are scratched up and the foot boards have some surface rust. It was a 2nd owner, He had it since 1985. I had to fix a few odds and ends. I replaced both hubs and ground the keys to fit. I now have about $750 in it. Is this a o.k. deal or did I get taken for a ride?

1 pointSpace is still at a premium for me so when I saw these being made for my the 317, I decided to sell my 112 with Johnson loader and pick this up to replace it. It's called the Buford Bucket and is made to to really sharp guys down south. I picked this one up "used" from a guy. He ordered it raw and had a friend of his powder coat it. Came with a bolt on tooth bar and bolt on forks. He only used it one time! It attaches the same way the snowblower and plow attaches to the front of the tractor. The bucket is very close to the front of the tractor so know need for a full under carriage frame. Rated to lift 400lbs and plugs right into the factory hydraulic ports up front. I also picked up a factory 3 point hitch and the rear hydraulic kit. I have installed the hitch but haven't gotten to the rear hydraulic plumbing yet. This is my worker so it now it's very versatile.

1 pointMaybe I missed it? No heat in the 520 Dukester? After 10 minutes of plowing in my C-160 with the cab it gets pretty toasty. Now, what I really wanna know is this, when the 520 is pimped out as far as it can possibly be pimped, whats next? :ychain:

1 pointThere will be other Holiday theme skins when the times come. I will leave the main wheel horse forum area the standard forum skin and always allow you to switch back to the standard view. The other holiday skins will be on the forum for just 1 day, and it's meant to be a fun addition and put everyone is a festive mood.

1 pointThis is true...happened today. Had to take my Mom for a cumadin check at the hospital and I told her I had a little running around to do after her test....soooo You might be a Wheel Horse addict if you take your Mom for a ride in the morning and you go to Motion Industries, then you stop at your favorite NAPA dealer, then you stop at your TORO dealer, then you stop at you friendly ACE Hardware and then you take her home...and she said she enjoyed being out of the house. How cool is that???

1 point:text-yeahthat: I used a plastic welder years ago at a body shop I worked at. Worked pretty well and seemed to hold up.

1 pointI would love to know how they created the “scientifically rusted†environment and how many bolts each mixture was applied to. Interesting no one tried the same test on rolls pins stuck in 40 year old steering wheels. Also interesting to see if a "witches brew" of acetone, pb blaster, ATF and liquid wrench wouldn't be a miracle cure. Heck, throw some Marvel Mystery Oil in there too.
-
1 pointYou might be a Wheel Horse addict if when the wife asks you how many tractors you have and you honestly can't remember.
-
1 pointYou wouldn't be able to use them at the same time... only one lift controls both. Depending on which way you're working, you'd be dragging an anchor when you're trying to blow snow, and you'd have a devil of a time steering the back blade with the snow blower on the ground in front. Of course.... all of this aside.... this is why everyone should have second tractors! Sent from my Galaxy S iii with Tapatalk 2

1 pointIt's going to run me about $1000 in paint supplies to paint the crew Spent $583 today for everything but only got 1.5qts of color. The color is $137/quart. Has 10 different color tones mixed in. Very tedious to mix but done by hand with a digital scale so it is accurate. Should get everything stripped and etch primed this weekend! Worked with a really great guy in Willow Grove PA. His is a private run business out of his garage at home. Has a huge selection of every auto cosmetic thing you would ever need. Way better pricing than anywhere else. All good products too. I went with matrix brand with the Mica clear coat. Here's a peek of the Tango! Charlie

1 pointas promised i tried 4 sets of tifes on the 310 -8 today. i also put a yardstick in the center of the fenderpan & measured the height . the tires were carlisle 22 x 7.50 -12 these were on the tractor when purchaced carlisle 23 x 8.50 -12 carlisle 23 x 9.50 -12 & last but not least a sat of 6 x 12 goodyear trator lugs off of my rj-59 , they look funny but i left them on it to see if they made a difference on the side ditch bank and last the stack of tires biggest on the bottom, smallest on top. i also did not try the 23 x 10.50 - 12 tires because i don't think they will clear the guage wheels on the 42 in. sd deck but here are pictures of them on my 518 518 on the left 12-32 on the right. hope this clears up some things or raises more questions L.O.L. 1 pointDon't count that peerless too far down. They are no doubt weaker than the unidrive but I have seen old JD's pull with them. I use one of my 800's to pull cars in the shop with no problems for the past 7 or more years, As far as changing to a unidrive, first you would need to replace the frame and most likely everything connected to it. Let's just say you would be better off starting with a different tractor and putting your engine on it. Mike
