Well while Will (Truckin88) was crossing over the line into CT I was in his backyard buying this one. It was on ebay for what I would consider short money for this tractor. It looked clean in the picture and all original. It will need the left rear tire to be repaired and then tubed. It is missing the hydro lift pump and front grill. I have to admit I was never a big fan of this model but that may change. I plan on getting it right and leaving it as is. I know I need a hydro pump, front grill and not sure what the deal is on the gas tank? I would love to hear more about what is right and what is wrong with this tractor. After bringing it home, I changed out the fuel line, added a new filter and placed the jump pack on it and she fired up and ran very nice. Here she is... Here is the video of my sone riding it...

What a great day for a show! Got to spend some time with a bunch of good guys there from RedSquare. There is always some good treasure pickin at this show, you never know what you'll find. I have scored something good each and every time I go to Zagray. When I was walking by this vendors spot I had to do a double take. I have never seen Wheel Horse advertising this big. I couldn't believe someone before me didn't snag these! The guy had two of them, one a little smaller and different from this one. I tipped Stevebo off about the other because I know he is building a barn/slash museum and there ain't nothing better than Wheel Horse barn art. This poster is MINT, I'm gonna have it framed. Anyone here got one this big?

I like the headlights and the tri-rib front tires! Looks like a good job on the grill guard.

I gotta hand it to you for giving the cheaper paint a try. If it turned out that the Majic paint was good and you liked it we would all know that there would have been an acceptable alternative for a worker restoration. Now I know that I won't bother with the stuff. I'm sure in the end its going to look great! One mans worker restoration is another mans show piece.

I saved my favorite for last, as a kid in the mid 70's the Beach Boys were my very favorite! I wore out a few needles and a few albums playin little deuce coupe and 409 over and over, and over, again. Anything they sang was cool. This tune by them was also a favorite because my oldest brother Bob (now 52) played it quite a bit. He would always sing the part when they said o rah o rah is that yo hat! Damn that was funny and I remember it like it was yesterday.

That is the problem with off-the-shelf paints such as Valspar, Krylon or Rustoleum. They take weeks to completely cure, and I too don't have the patience or the time to wait. For that reason, I have switched to acrylic urethane automotive paint, which if forced dry at 140° F, can be ready to assemble, apply decals, etc. an hour or so after painting. Even if I don't force it dry, I only have to wait 12 hours for it to be completely dry and cured.

A song you've never heard them sing even if you're a fan, must see! one of a kind! I believe it was the only time they performed this one

Though Waylon and Cash are my Country guys its real hard to pinpoint my Classic rock band but Steve Miller is no doubt right at the top. Growing up in the 70's in a family of seven kids I heard it all. My two older sisters on one end of the house cranked up Elton John and Disco. My two oldest brothers on the other end of the house cranked up Steve Miller, Boston, Led Zep, Allman Brothers, Electric Light, Super Tramp, you name it. Middle brother Dave cranked Elvis and Styx in the 80's? WTH Dave? Dad listened to Cash, Waylon, Neil Diamond and Kenny Rogers. My bed room was right in the middle of all of this and to this day I love all of it, yes, even some of the disco! One of my brothers must of listened to this tune at least ten times a day back then. I never get tired of it!
