How many of us have our own little treasures (whatever they may be) that we set a dollar amount on that's far above what it's really worth because we don't really want to sell? Everything has a price. You don't have to like the price, but don't belittle the guy for throwing it out there. You never know, this could have been an appraisal auction. To see what the market would produce if he popped out a few more of these. Just a check to see if it's worth the time.

The reason that Toro won't let you order it is because it is discontinued and no longer available as a new item. Your best source will be someone like Kelly who sells used parts.

"Need some help on ideas on how to lower it. I know you flip the front axle, but what about the back? Smaller tires and make the fender lower?" I'd keep the standard size rear wheels and raise the trans instead. You could cut the trans mounting plate off the back of the chassis and weld it back on higher up, not forgetting to add extra strengthening. You might need to give the shifter sticks and other bits a bit of a trim to fit the new rear trans position.. I guess it all depends on how much you want to cut your WH up! That's the way I'd lower the rear anyway.

Hey Bob. It's not your fault. You and the rest of the group do a great job. I didn't realize there were so many people in the picture when we took it. I'm going to PM you.

I got a phone call from my brother and he said he knows some one that has some old wheel horse tractors in his barn and he wants them gone. I asked him if he new how old they were and he said the guy told him that he bought one brand new and the other one he got some time after. I could not wait to go see them but I had to wait a week before he would be able to let me check them out. That was one long week. I checked them out a brought them home with me.

Since there is no one person designated as the RedSquare official at the show, the picture just sort of happens when it happens. The WHCC runs the schedule of events, and the announcement via the public address systems is done as a courtesy for us. This is only my third show, and the job of "group picture coordinator" has seemed to fallen on my shoulders since the pictures are taken in front of my and buckrancher's red canopies (thought by some to be the official RedSquare area). There is NO official RedSquare area, but we don't mind that our canopies are used for that purpose. There were several RS members that expressed a concern that some other members had not gotten to the show yet at 11:00 am when the we wanted to schedule the shot. So I asked Bill Pearson to announce that the picture would be taken immediately after the parade. Little did we know that the parade would last as long as it did. On Saturday, only one announcement was made, and unfortunately many missed it. I have some thoughts on next years show, and I will post a thread later to see what the general feeling is of the RedSquare members that actually attend or plan to attend the show. So, if there are any complaints about this years group picture, you can address them to me... Here is Friday's picture. I am still waiting for the other pictures that were taken both Friday and Saturday to get the best one to use for the final picture with names.
