    I got my Hienz 57 narrow front rolling tonight. I was going to use some 3.00-4 tri ribs, but they look like airplane landing gears! Haha So its going to get 3.50-6 tri ribs. Just have to finish the steering now then some sheet metal, paint and a motor! Joel

    little more done. worked on the regulator, powdered the cover and glass beaded and clear coated the base. looks better than it did. this one was working ok from what i remember and im having trouble locating the 'proper' looking starter/gen regulator new, so this one was tidied up and i will use as is. how it was...... and now, just need to get a decal made for it and its done. thats been left to my friend terry....... roughed in the electrical, need to make sure its routed properly and then cover it up... nearly ready to check all the electrical out to see if it works! just need to finish up the battery cables to the solenoid and back to the starter/generator.

    Was at a Toro dealer today and saw this back in a corner with about a 1/4" of dirt on it, Asked the guy if he would sale it? To my surprise he said I could have it, FREE Jumped right on that Didn't get a pic with it covered in dirt but here is one of the sign cleaned up. Start of my collection. :techie-ebay:

    I would go synthetic motor oil all the way with a clean system, Well worth it in my book and I will be using it in all my eatons 1100 trans axles also. I only put about 20 hours a year on each of my workers, so every other year they get changed. besides synthetic will not brake down if it gets hot like standard oil.

    We can't save them all. If it wasn't for members like Kelly, we would probably pay alot more for used parts if we had to get them all off the internet. I for one think collateral damage has to occur to keep the breed alive. I have robbed many parts and don't have a problem with it. I can walk around a "recycle" yard all day . I always seem to find things I didn't even know I needed when I got there. I have a friend here that has a "green" recycle yard with over 300 tractors in it. He does not sell complete running tractors. But I can find just about any part I need there and also at a reasonable price. Don't get me wrong, I don't want to see them all parted out. But sometimes you gotta do it. Don't feel bad, someone elses c-100 probably got some part off of it to repair or restore a tractor they wanted to fix up. So its all good :greetings-clappingyellow:

    I hear ya loud and clear buddy........looks like I will be pulling out some elbow grease for mine real soon. I will continue to watch your thread closely. I will let you learn all of the good and bad decisions and then take it from there! :ychain:

    Ken, The look on Cole's face tells it all !! If you need a ride down at the show you can take your pick from my collection to use so long as you promise not to blow the motor like someone did 2 years ago.... . I plan on bringing 2-3 down myself (small ones).

    Here are the two tractors my son Cole and myself will be bringing to the local shows, the 62 Economy I completely restored and Coles refreshed 58. If I'm able to make the BIG Show in Pa. I'm not too sure what I'll bring for myself. If you ask me, the 62 Economy and the RJ look like distant cousins. Maybe I can paint the Economy red, slap some Wheel Horse decals on it and sneek it in? We poured some gas in the RJ today, fired her up, dialed her in and Cole took er for a ride!

    First Thing I strapped trans into crate with strap iron, or "plumbers tape". In front of it one rear wheel. these are not stock as Lars bought wider tires. Next I mounted the engine and hood stand to the frame and zip tied the hood in place backwards. All that got strapped over trans and wheel. Other rear wheel, rear fenders and seat fit nicely , I filled the rear wheel with small items. Front tires in behind, Deestone Tri-Ribs and Deestone rears in front. the rest just fit in where it would... Front wheels have arrived as well as seat cushion which will go in this week. A few more Hardware store Items and it is ready to go to Nashville! One problem Lars will Have to deal with is with the Hood stand in the stock Location it interferes with the K91. Anyone have any ideas or pics on a remedy.

    You should be fine, but if not- it can also run it from the PTO with a mechanical pump. I used a 4-roller "Silver cast" roller pump from Hypro, and a 25-gallon tank setup from Northern Tool:
