Was at a Toro dealer today and saw this back in a corner with about a 1/4" of dirt on it, Asked the guy if he would sale it? To my surprise he said I could have it, FREE Jumped right on that Didn't get a pic with it covered in dirt but here is one of the sign cleaned up. Start of my collection. :techie-ebay:

Hello All, I had to stop at our local Xtra Mart for the usual milk and bread routine and when I got out of my car I saw a 1975 Yamaha DT 175 strapped into the bed of a pickup. I walked over and was admiring the bike ( I had one...) when the owner walked out and started talking to me about how he had just bought it off of Craigslist and was going to restore it. It was dark outside and when I walked over to see the other side I see the following laying in the bed. I go and start looking it over.... the guy asks if I want to buy it and I say how much... he says $75 and I counter with $50... he says OK and we stuck it in the trunk of my Buick. It has a Briggs and its cool as heck... I can't wait to figure out what it is and get it running. Maybe a Vanguard 20 should go in it? :eusa-think:

Sorry but I seem to be suffering from ELECTILE DYSFUNCTION! The inability to become aroused over any of the choices for President, put forth by either party in the 2012 election year.

Chip came over yesterday and it is nice to meet someone in my area with a Wheel Horse connection. Really a nice guy to meet. Hope he and I can can work on our tractors together. I only hope to pass mine down to my family some day (but not real soon) and they become more interested in them and preserve the Wheel Horse connection. Chip, you and your family are welcome here anytime. Got to help you get ready for the Florida Flywheelers event this year and we will take our horses.

that's one of the few things in the backyard that i know will run in the spring, don't want to spoil it... i would guess we've had it about 30 years now... usually in a garage or under a tarp, but the heavy snow pulled the tarp down between it and the freeby simplicity next to it... hopefully i can rid myself of the orange one this summer after i fix the horse... and re-invest into something more usefull... maybe a cab for snowblowing?

Thanks Guys! Well the Rims are at the Powder Coater and once back after the weights are installed in the rims at some point in time no matter If I machine them with a router or what it will not be the look I want. I had a Pal of mine whip me out some 16ga Stainless Steel Disc's. These disc's will be like hub caps and will be drilled with 4 mounting holes, painted, decals applied. I told Terry what I wanted and to match the lettering with my existing decals and this fits the bill exactly with what I wanted. I need to find some more Lead and when I do I will be doing the Same thing to the rears. Here are some pics to show what I will be doing and what they look like. What ya think? Cheers ~Duke

Craig. Its not locked down because its was not started to be a political opinion thread, shoving one members views down other members throat and such. Dont for one second think that the Admin/Mod team has not seen this thread, and that it is being watched carefully. The original poster was just talking about an experience he had with his son and not attempting to "sway" you or any other member here. Maybe you think we should lock down the thread about gas prices that you personally have posted in numerous times? Theres something in the rules about that. This forum is full of adults and we try to treat the members like adults and sometimes we (the Admins and Mods) will give a little leeway to a thread if it stays civil, such as this one and the gas price thread. Relax, enjoy the forum, and leave the policing to the Admins and Moderators. Mike...............

For those who know anything about showing dogs ..... Indy (Banshee's American Adventurer, CGC, TDI) currently has 11 of the 15 required points with both Majors finished. He only needs to get the remaining 4, single points to "point out" and become a Champion. The nice thing is that his next show, at the end of the month, has 4-point Majors both weekend days (Saturday and Sunday), so he could potentially come back home a Champion. If anyone is in the Syracuse, NY area the weekend of March 31/April 1, stop by and root us on. The show program is located here: http://www.raudogsho...tCityPL2012.pdf Show Location: Center of Progress Building And Exhibition Center NEW YORK STATE FAIRGROUNDS 581 State Fair Boulevard SYRACUSE, NEW YORK 13209

Hello, Here is my 1968 Lawn Ranger. This tractor was the tractor I used to mow my parent's property like 20 years ago. But like any kid I abused it. Now it has an easy life going to the different tractor shows. It has a C-81 front axle to make it wider, a Kohler 8 hp pull start engine and an 8 speed trans. I also did not like the looks of the back of the tractor so I cut it off and put a toolbox from an older tractor on it. If you look at the seat you will see that I installed a shock and spring off of a mountain bike. Because I am a bigger guy and the seat would have scratched the paint. Thanks for reading my story, Jim
