I had a brief e-mail from Glen today. He said that he will post a message with pictures to the community soon. He was in the hospital for a long time and is still recovering, and is eager to get outside. I don't have anything more, I'm just really glad to hear from him! Looking forward to his note to us with how he's doing.

So this weekend my cuz took some of the herd to a pole barn he can use in exchange for grounds maintenance . He went to the barn loaded the C120/160 frackinhorse then come by my barn grabbed the Commando8 . He dropped off the C120 at his dads and then took the Commando8 to or mechanic friend. My cousin and friend went back over to the barn to grab something and when he opened the door this was in there ? Now mind you he was only gone for a half hour . Well I’ll after a while we figured it out . The high school football team was doing a scrap drive and the dumpsters were located behind the old middle school where the barn is also located across the parking lot. The coach had seen my cousin with the trailer loading and moving tractors around. Five minutes after he left a guy showed up with this for the scrap drive. Told them it just quit running last year and wasn’t going to mess with it. So after the guy left the coach rolled it across the parking lot and put it in the barn . When the coach was telling my cousin this he said just make a small donation to the team . My cousin responded right back and said you know all that scrap your getting at my cousins most of it was from my jobs . Four trucks worth. Cleaned up my yard ! So in the end we all won . Is your addiction bad when the whole town knows you collect and you have people just drop you off tractors or call you about a tractor they have . Two weeks ago we picked up a 520H for under $200 . The guy called out of the blue and said please come get it . I’ll get pictures of it after it gets done doing yard cleanup chores at my cousins FIL house. Yes it’s a running mowing no smoking tractor too .

@Achto and I took a little ride to title town this weekend to pick up this pair. Pretty much gave the seller asking price for the 1277 and he threw in the 1077. Both are far from pristine with the usual PO wonderments! Very savable tho. Both run and drive.

Ok now for some of those gives it character things.... Gotta wonder whats causing this geometry issue?!?!? its not so much the seat or the mounts but what's with the wood blocks??? PO must have had really short legs for these Gonna give the angle grinder a work out getting those off! Personally I would have left the end straight.... guy coulda mowed and shaved his bunions at the same time! Note the repair on the hood stand, Actually not a bad weld job... 1077 is cracked in the same place and hasn't been fixed yet. Who woulda saw this coming? Mighta guessed the same PO had both tractors.... Something every horse should have ....The I have no idea what these are for brackets... least he's got them on both sides...perhaps the remnants of a heavy duty cup holders?!?!? For all you eagle eyes that like to dissect every pic what has been modded in this pic (hint PTO) better question is why.... short armed PO??? ... and no not the custom dash! Must missed the service bulletin on this steering wheel upgrade!

This was my first time at AJ's, There was a good turn out with some variety. I like to look for tractors that are not real common when I go to shows so I will start with those pics. There was also some great looking customs. The Allis WD & this Oliver 88 were extremely well done, Not sure what the thinking was behind this Minneapolis Moline labeled Bolens but it was kind of interesting. Some nice collections lined up. Some fast action shots of the slow race. This is a race that should be split into a gear jammer & a hydro class in my opinion. Jim & I were speed demons with our 6 speed 's in low 1, even after turning the idle down until the engine barley ran. Jim grabbing a little seat time on my Raider. It was great to see friends & to meet some new friends. I think Jim @WHX17 got a pick of some of the gang from RS. Hopefully we can make the trip again next year.

Couple of things I though were cool This old Kohler genny Some other cool that were there A Lennox Kitty Track Kinda a group pic ... left to right @Achto, my wife Cindy, @stevasaurus Terry's girl, @dclarke, & @Terry M MIA is @Shynon & @prondzy I never did get some shots of our line ups! The plowing.... Not a lot of ground to turn but made the best of it. He had two plots one small but large enough to plow garden and one rather narrow but quite long. I'm gonna try the vid without you tube so let me know if it views. After the plowing guys with tillers had at it and darn near ready to plant. Tom brought a 12 incher for Dan to try and no problems but very hastily set up. If you snoozed on the plow field you weren't gonna get a crack at it there were that many guys there with plows. Now I know why Tom & Mike didn't, bring their plow rigs...about the time you got into it it was over! 20180519_111058.mp4 No worky ...too long to download... about the neck!

This hobby is an awesome thing, but it's the people like Glen that make it what it is! Funny how some little red tractors can bring so many people together that otherwise might have never met. Keep fighting Glen. Those of us who have had the pleasure of meeting you know how kind and giving you are. Keep fighting buddy and keep us updated!

I've been thinking about how those wheels are both angled the same way. Kind of reminds me of how graders can change the tilt of their wheels. Maybe the blade is just on the wrong tractor right now?

Almost forgot to thank our host. Property, buildings and displays he has are awesome and you cannot have a better setting for an event like this. Weather was a bit cool and damp in the AM but turned beautiful in the PM.

Sweet score Jim but you’re still on a odd number @WHX19 ..... !!! I just quit counting .

That is one nice horse you have there. The 867 is the 1st short frame to have a transmission with the hi/low in it. Yours has a #5060 which is a 10 pinion limited slip transmission. It makes your horse a little on the rare side and collectable. Treat her well and Welcome to Red Square.

Yes I did get somewhat of a group pic. Will get some up at the office tommorow. Got a plowing vid too for @PeacemakerJack ! Mike @prondzy tweaked my idle down a little too much and I tried to run the race by bumping the starter! Next year I am going to pull the spark plug and try and crawl on starter alone!

It was a great day and I know we got some pictures coming. It was excellent spending the day with TerryM, DClark, Shynon, Prondzy, SmokinJoe, Jorden, WHX14, Achto and JoeBob. I got this picture for here and I took a few for the Wheel Horse Gallery.

If it runs with starter fluid but dies in a few seconds, make sure that you have fuel pumping into the bowl. A carb cleaning may help. But if it doesn't, you may have a fuel pump problem. Also, be sure to use fresh fuel.

Out for a drive with the misses and low and behold at the end of a lane way was a c161. Home to get the trailer and 1hr later the herd has grown yet again. 50 bucks got me what wants to be a black hood. Maybe the dark night. Not run for 4 years. Tranny shifts good, tires are tubed so they hold air. Deck is good. Blower is........... well we will see. Motor has 90 psi in the forward and 15 in the rear. It has spark. The fibre glass pan and hood are in decent shape too. Can't make out model # yet

No need to put a lead additive in the gas. The unleaded gas is fine just try real hard to stay away from ethanol. Ethanol does bad things to small engines.

In those charts in the cross over thread. You will not find a regular store chart that does a cross over from Wheel Horse bearing numbers. The charts I made above were made from the bearing measurements with matches found on the Motion Industries web site. All of those numbers are correct, and you can take those KOYO, Torrington bearing numbers and the CR/SKF seal numbers to any NAPA or other parts store and cross reference those numbers with the numbers your store has.
