Good News...Bad News

The bad;

 

I've had a bad upper  respiratory cold for a week that has pretty much glued me to the recliner.

I was not able to complete the new build.

I will not  be able to make the show tomorrow (Thur).

 

The Good;

 

All the test for Covid and Influenza A and B   were negative.

I was able to get the build drivable before getting sick.

If my condition doesn't worsen, I plan to be at the show on Fri.   I may have to hire a driver.

I did get the P-up  loaded today.   Hope I have enough strength to throw on 20 buckets of parts tomorrow.

Get tested for Hantavirus if you did come in contact with mouse droppings.  Hope you feel better soon.

I am overwhelmed by all the support and good wishes.     Thank you all.      One of our members has even offered to pick up my trailer and deliver it to the show today.

When I started this thread, I really wasn't looking for a pity party.     Just wanted you all to know why I wouldn't be there today.

 

I am feeling better every day and will load the buckets this afternoon and be there early Friday morning and will leave Friday night.   I don't plan to be there Saturday.

Please stop by or flag me down if you see an old guy cruisin in a little Honda P-up.

I can't speak for the rest of the folks... It didn't even occur to me about pity. 

I figured you were advising of the general situation like friends do for one another.

Good news,  My guard...ian angel left me alone to go grocery shopping.      Just enough time for me to head out to the barn and load a few buckets.

I'll finish loading this afternoon and be at the show early tomorrow.
