Looks good, and this is still flexible enough for the bend?

I also left just a bit of slack on either end of the lens so it wont bind when ya bend either.that bend pic has a lens in there too

Could easily add some tint film on there. If ya didn't like it could peel it off. Or even see if ya have some tinted plexi, or heck, colored plexi available locally. I used 1/8". Just leave it about 1mm shorter than the opening is wide.i think they evn make 1 way mirrored plexi.

I was thinking of using some sort of yellow lens for better visibility in blowing snow while we were plowing.

Good to know you used 1/8". should be fairly easy to get a hold of if I want to go that direction.

Yep and its relatively easy to cut. Straight edge, utility knife, score BOTH sides well, hold down under with a board along the cut and snap!

@Jeff-C175s silicone feiendly insert is on the printer now! I reduced the layer height (more layers, smaller steps, but more print time) and let's see how it comes out.

Theres tons of good 3d files out there for ww2 vehicles.

Anything specific?(panzer, tiger, or one of the mobile artillery pieces?)

Did these for a friend's grand kids. Actually one of my first models, and the first job I got any pay for! Deaigned the rowels so they actually turn, and pointed...but not TOO pointed lol.

I’m building a lowered 300 series wheelhorse. So far it’s a combination of 3 scrap tractors.
the frame, trans and tins are from a GT2500 anniversary special given to me by a neighbor with a trashed Briggs. The Kohler M12 is from a junkyard 312 that was roached. The parts tractor I’m using for the build was another older 312. I’ve got the k301 in the garage. The trans was toast. Both axles wallowed out keyways and 1 axle actually broken.
Anyway! I needed a project and a toy to putt around the neighborhood. I couldn’t find any other posts on how to do the whole thing. I’m trying to keep it cheap using stuff I have on hand and looking as “stock but cooler” as possible. So here we go.
I’ll update this as I go along.
