First the sub $100 trailer 'kit' I've picked up: Like I said, more of a loosely assembled kit suggesting what the final project should look like. It is a 6 x 10, so it will be capable of transporting a couple of horses. The door was side hinged, but it appears the option to convert it into a ramp door is there. Next is the work I'm starting in our 20 acres of woods in Ky. This picture is representative of what I started with: Several hours and a couple of tanks of gas with a brush saw on the Stihl trimmer resulted in this: Now I can get my laser level and elevation stick in there to shoot ground contours and start figuring the grading requirements for the site. Planning on a 36 by 48 metal arch building here. Next trip to Ky., I'll have to pack real chain saw along. On this trip, I just had a 10" battery powered B&D saw along for light limb trimming. Jeff-C175 7,195 #3265 Posted October 26, 2021 I tripped over those engines again yesterday as a matter of fact... moving some stuff around to get access to a confined space where tree rats (squirrels) had gotten into the rafters and pulled all the insulation out and built a nest with it. What a nasty job that was! Squirrels have TERRIBLE housekeeping and bathroom habits! Climbing into the rafters crawling on my belly like a reptile suited up and duct taped with respirator and all... in a space about a foot and a half high between ceiling joists and rafters. If Mike Rowe can do it, so can I ! I guarantee that that particular squirrel will not be back. I've done all I could to exclude future visitors... Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Antifreeze in the drains and toiled and hooked up my little air compressor to blow the water out of the pipes. The air compressor is a little 2 gallon job for air staplers. We didn't get quite as much rain here at the 'shaw' but at least 2" and I'm happy to say that there was no evidence that the back shop roof is still leaking. I think I finally discovered where the leak I've been chasing for 15 years is !!!! About TWENTY FEET from where it comes out on the bottom !!! Stuffed them with some chicken, black beans, cheese, and a few other goodies. Then cooked them in the smoker. Garnished with some sour cream and salsa with some white rice on the side. Yummy!!! Door runners and door to replace yet. May get done today now the hard work's been done. Thought the weather has turned nasty.
