GT-14 A diamond in the rough

Rear half of the Sub-frame for the GT-14 attaches to the rear axle and bolts to the frame near the center. The other half is attached to the frame at the front and attaches to the uprights making it a rigid unit. The whole idea is to transfer the stress and added weight to the wheels, not the frame of the tractor.

It is a Johnson Workhorse which was mounted on the GT-14 when I bought it.

Took me a few (weeks/months/years) and still learning.

Because of needing to be able to work from home, Trina had internet installed here at home after a 2 year hiatus..

It's nice to see the sites on the big screen again...

My desktop had crapped out. So I picked up this cheap phone.  Basically to keep up with forum activity and FB sell sites.

I think I have spent more time on line trying to figure out how the deck comes off than in the garage. I can only figure the deck has to be lowered to be able to remove the pin from the lift cylinder. Unfortunately it is in the up position. So I'm kind stuck. Any help would be MUCH appreciated

Wish I could help but I don’t have one with a deck on it. Is there anyway you could have someone stand on the deck and push down on the valve lever? Not sure if that would do it. If not, crack a line going to the valve or cylinder till it lowers.

Thanks @19richie66 and @ebinmaine. It's off. Not where I figure it should come off. I just unbolted at the closest points to the deck. It will do till info comes along

Some progress today. Deck is off. The shredded rear tires are off the rims. Tried testing the electric clutch. Provided I did it correctly it is nonfunctional. So until I have an engine or rear tires things will be at a snail's pace

It's a cultivator. It does look like a David Bradley model.

Been pretty busy lately. Not so busy that I'm not looking for parts lol. So this is something I ran across a while back but may have finally secured the deal.
