Aldon 4,826 #1 Posted July 5, 2018 @gwest_ca , @953 nut , here are are some pics with measurements to get Garry pointed in right direction. As side note, the awefuld prior owner repairs I cut out seemed to be done for a failure mechanism that did not occur. The real issue is that the thin metal for the half inch clutch rod the run through had given way. Anyway, here are some measurement pics as requested.
wallfish 15,946 #2 Posted July 6, 2018 (edited) @gwest_ca @Aldon I have a 551 frame. If you just want the trans mount I can cut it off for easier shipping. No Charge! Had a 551 tractor slip off the winch hooks while lowering it down from the shed loft. Of coarse there was a guy on his way to buy it so had to do some quick piecing together so the guy could pick up a tractor. Anyway, still have the frame if you're interested, lift handle too Edited July 6, 2018 by wallfish 4

It's possible the hood stand is still around but it got tweaked a little from the fall. The foot peg 3/4" bar is missing from the frame, think it ended up on the bike.

Aldon 4,826 #6 Posted July 6, 2018 Much appreciated John. But I will likely modify this and make it a bit more robust. It it sounded like Garry may be starting from scratch though so you or Dick offering that back plate may be handy for him.

oliver2-44 8,874 #10 Posted July 8, 2018 @Aldon I’d appreciate you posting your heavier version here once you get it done. I also have one that needs a new bracket from scratch. Thanks
