One set (a 40gal & a 60gal) a week ago, same units different brand name on them & then this set that I scored one of. Thinking that they were maybe display models?? Could also have been a couple brick & mortar store closing the doors. The unit I purchased has never had oil in it & all the paper work was still zip tied to it as it would have shipped from the factory. Will find out the true grit as to weather or not I got a deal on Sat. That's when I will have time to set it up and turn the key.

Got a good Idea for a pad for it. FYI boys this is going to a buddy's shop where it would be difficult to get 240 VAC power to unless a separate service is brought in. Still no way a decent big electric one could be bought for the cost of this one. This one could be sold for what's in it if we ever fingered out the power issue. oliver2-44 10,827 #229 Posted December 20, 2024 Excellent score @Achto With 24 cfm@90 psi that will a horse of a blasting compressor. No down time waiting for the compressor to catch up.

With a medium sized blast cabinet requiring 9CFM at 90psi, could run 2 of them at the same time with CFM's to spare. I’m not gonna divulge who they’re following home. Maybe they’ll chime in when they hit their destination. Safe travels 5xi fleet…and new stewards. Wonder what's in the crate tho ... Little early for havin one ain't it Steve??? Well part of it is true ... The crate is MIL-SPEC hardware. Special stuff. I can relate to the mosquitoes thing. We’ve spent enough time fishing in the Minnesota northwoods in the BWCA to know they mean business. Their hum sounds like a De Havilland Beaver that is constantly overhead and when they descend on your fishing boat not even the Red Cross can outpace their blood letting. How those things survive your winters is a mystery. Steve

Pullstart 67,332 #238 Posted July 16 I pulled the engine and shift handle, and sold Rebel this morning! It’s been sitting since the fire field incident, and we’ve since seemed to move on. It had to go. 1

WHX?? 52,127 #241 Posted 19 hours ago (edited) Three recently left. One an interesting story. A nice 502 that I put on FB market place. Much is that I hate FB it is a good place to move a tractor as long as reasonably priced (read cheap)! I had the 502 listed previously and had tons of guys wanting it but I pulled the ad for a trade deal with a 854. That fell through so I relisted it with a better price figuring to not leave $$ on the table. Not much interest just FB idiots being nosey. Got a bite from a kid that turns out just lives down the road. Turned out the kid is just 14 and was very adamant about getting it. I eventually told him he needs to come and look at it to see what he was buying. He did with cash in hand ... I guess 500 is not a lot for kids theses days He did have a job at a local campground and a very nice kid as some kids go these days. I was very leery about selling it to him as he knew absolutely nothing about tractors and was deathly afraid of him Pullstartisizeing it. Just too nice of an original and good running techy for that. Said he wanted it for the front blade and was going to move snow with it. After explaining to him that it was more of a collectors piece, the needs of a techy and that it pops out of 3rd gear he wanted it anyway. Told him it would not take abuse and don't bad mouth me if you do and it breaks. He was good with that. He had no way of getting it home and I wouldn't let him drive it the mile & 1/2 home on what can be a dangerous road and in the dark with no SMV sign. When I was 14 would have been thrilled to death to take a tractor on a road trip like that. So he calls him mom for a ride and I clear it with her. Came to the conclusion that he had no functioning dad but a somewhat mechanically inclined grampa who might be his mentor. Had a bad feeling gramps has a angle grinder tho. So I took his money and said I would deliver it the next day. Told him I would take it back if he didn't molest it and he outgrew it. He was interested in old stuff and felt I should take him under tutorship. So I offered him to come and wrench in the shop and hopefully teach him a thing or two. His school is not known for their curriculum in power mechanics & blue collar trades like ours were. Still ... sellers remorse ... it is a round hood. Hope I did the right thing.
