MainelyWheelhorse 2,072 #27 Posted August 18 (edited) Oops it’s been a while since I updated the thread… Since the last update I have Put the hood on, Tightened down the sheet metal. built a battery hood down and an exhaust pipe with a brace. Made a lexan headlight lens and got the head lights working. Painted the rims. Then, started in painting the sheet metal. That’s where I’m at today. MainelyWheelhorse 2,072 #28 Posted August 20 This was today’s progress after work. Four coats of Rust - Oleum IH red paint by spray gun. It’s a worker so I’m not necessarily going for show quality. Almost at the finish line. 1
MainelyWheelhorse 2,072 #30 Posted August 21 Today’s progress, just decals, throttle and choke handles with some fine tuning now. Inching closer to the finish but it’s now a runner.
MainelyWheelhorse 2,072 #31 Posted August 24 With the exception of a few small things My 1978 C-141 Frankenstein is done. I would like to thank everyone who chimed in to assist in getting it running and painted. @ebinmaine @953 nut @pfrederi definitely contributed to getting the tractor going especially the wiring. There were many more contributions by other members as well. Just for you late arrivals it went from this, to this. In 3 1/2 months. THANKS!!!

MainelyWheelhorse 2,072 #36 Posted October 18 (edited) After a bit of a hiatus, I bought some decals. These should finish the tractor off nicely, with the exception of the hydraulics. Edited October 18 by MainelyWheelhorse

MainelyWheelhorse 2,072 #39 Posted Tuesday at 12:06 AM I made a bit more progress on the C-141 tonight. I received my full decal kit from Redo your Horse (Terry) and began the process of installing it. It definitely changes the look of the tractor in a good way. 1
