Mike'sHorseBarn 2,982 #1 Posted February 25 Never had a truck of my own. I always borrowed dad's or my father in laws for my horse wrangling adventures. Today I changed that. I hope to get years and years of service out of this rig! 2024 Ram 2500 Big Horn. 11

WHX?? 48,703 #6 Posted February 25 Congrats Mike you are gonna love it. You should get 24-26 MPG you drive like my wife. 18-20 you drive like Dan. Soon as you plug into the 7 pin it's 12-14 no matter how you drive. The computer changes up everything. Sad thing is there are lots of choked off ponies in that motor. Can't let them out without serious mods and deletes tho. That display is mind blowing... twice the size of mine. Your whole dash is a bit different than my '17. I've got a whopping 25,000 miles on it now. Got beaters with heaters for winter. Tell the boys about the gas cap! Coach @nylyon has a '19 I believe. 2
nylyon-(Admin) 7,229 #7 Posted February 25 Mine is a 2018 3500 with the High Output Cummins. Congratulations on the new truck Mike, these are beasts. Mine has zero issue pulling our 43’ 5th wheel. 4
WHX?? 48,703 #8 Posted February 25 Hilarious about the Red Lobster Mike. Last week Cindy drags me out new car shopping she wants to get rid of her Prius. She settles on a Subaru Forester @Achto. In order to compensate me for my misery not to mention lost shop time I make her take me to R L for lunch... Pick it up tomorrow & she's gotta take me to Olive Garden @Ed Kennell ! 3
Mike'sHorseBarn 2,982 #9 Posted February 25 I guess great minds think alike @WHX??!! So far it's been great! Put 100 miles on it yesterday and it was getting between 20 and 22mpg. As far as the gas cap though it has a normal one! I know some of the earlier ones didn't even have one. 2

No wonder now why my 18 Silverado doesn't have one. 3 hours ago, Ed Kennell said: Break it in.....81 miles won't even get the Mopar warmed up. They are cold blooded Mike but you should have gotten the engine heater and cold weather bra in your package. Not to mention the heated seats and wheel. Cindy's new ride has heated seats but not wheel ... almost a deal breaker for her. 4 hours ago, Pullstart said: Looking forward to hearing about your trip to MI in a couple months! Lookin to that too Kev... get rid of some these horses that belong to others... free up some stalls for more new to me's... 1 1
Mike'sHorseBarn 2,982 #17 Posted February 26 @WHX?? I have heated seats and steering wheel. wheel heard mopars were cold blooded, but it doesn't get as cold around here as it used to in the winter. @Pullstart where can a guy find some good michigan fishing before I head back to PA? WHX?? 48,703 #24 Posted February 27 Supposed to be the sport trim Sylvia. The gold or baby $hit color was a deal breaker for me.
