Achto 32,026 #501 Posted June 3 (edited) After a little over a month Sooki is finally starting to get over her ugly puppy stage of life. She sure is a ball of energy, all go all the time. She's getting her basic commands down pretty good, food is a great motivator of course. Edited June 3 by Achto 1

gt14rider 1,221 #509 Posted June 8 Got her out, she's tiny, got her out and put her in the wood line. She keeps following me, started the tractor up she tried to climb on for a ride. I put her back in wood line and ran. Have not seen her since. That was different, 1 1

ebinmaine 79,419 #514 Posted June 14 A month or three ago my mom decided it was time to have another pet. She's more of a cat person than dog. Her and my sister were patiently waiting and communicating with shelters in the area. About a week and a half ago my mom got her new to her cat. Minnie. Approximately 3 years old. Extremely sweet cuddly cat. And of course.... quickly taking over the house. My mom's spot in bed. Helping with laundry. And helping with making the bed. 1
WHX?? 57,214 #515 Posted 14 hours ago Going to be a sad 7/4 around here. Found out yesterday our beloved Poo Poos has a terminal illness and not doing well. They did a CT scan and said the cancer is spread throughout. She is 7 people years old and had a good life. Do we keep her comfortable and let her go naturally or put her to sleep and move on? I have way too many pictures of her but not enough ... know what I mean? Pretty sure I know what you went through now Dan. 2
Racinbob 13,012 #516 Posted 10 hours ago That's a tough call Jim. We are dealing with a similar issue with one of ours. Kidney failure. We asked the vet that question. He said she will let us know when it's time. That seems like good advice. 1
SylvanLakeWH 31,655 #517 Posted 10 hours ago @WHX?? Tough duty... just went through this with our Denali 2 months ago... cancer. As @Racinbob says... they'll let you know. Put him down 3 weeks after diagnosis...
WHX?? 57,214 #518 Posted 9 hours ago Thanks guys and good advice Bob. Trouble is Cindy doesn't want to see her suffer even tho I tell her we'll know when the time is right. On a happy note we are going to pick up a new addition. A Westie pup in MO and hopefully have a visit with @ronwh We had this all planned out long before the bad news. Leaving right after the Portage Show. 1
19richie66 17,908 #519 Posted 3 hours ago Sorry Jim for the bad news. It’s never an easy call. We lost two of ours last year. My girl is getting old and it’s going to be hard when she gets to that point. Funny thing is I didn’t want her but my wife brought her home anyways. She became part of the family quick. You’ll do what’s right. 👍
